Review of Hotel Resol Trinity Sapporo 3*

The location of the hotel is central to everything; next to the hotel is an entrance to the underground passage, that connects to Odori station, countless restaurants and shopping malls, and to Sapporo JR station in 10-min walk. It is also in walking distance to the fish market where you can enjoy fresh sashimi early in the morning. Inside the hotel, the environment is warm and friendly. Staff can speak good english and helpful. Though this is not really a new hotel, everything inside looks tidy and to me it is like a four star hotel. I especially like the fireplace at the entrance of the hotel which makes the place very warm and welcome. I stay in the deluxe single room which is a bit bigger than the usual single room. Space is ok as per Japanese standard even though not much space left with my luggage open. Bed is very comfortable. There is a free bottle of water provided every day. The best part in the room is the Wi-Fi which is very reliable and fast. The hot bath is located at the top floor. The water temperature is excellent and I really enjoying soaking in the water every evening. Next to the bath there is a sitting area overlooking the Odori park. Its really relaxing to spend some time in it. Personally I think the following are not so good in this hotel: 1. I can hear the noise from other guests inside my room. Every morning around 7:xx AM will be getting noisy and I cannot really sleep after that 2. Though 3 pillows are provided in the room, all of them are very huge and i'm not really getting used to them 3. Some careless mistakes during my stay, first issue is that the key card does not work and I need to re-visit the reception to get it fixed. One day the toothpaste/brush is not replenished. 4. Some tour groups stay in this hotel and the lift/reception can be really full of people All in all, I enjoy the stay in this hotel very much mainly for the location and the environment inside the hotel.
