This is a great hotel to stay at especially if there's a power outage because they have a bigass generator that not only power up the hotel, the mall as well.

The location is very good to find, the price is also cheap enough to be large enough. VIEW is not sea-watching but high enough, and night trains are pretty good. Link AEON, and cross a street also has a big big, 711, CP value is very high.

Location is not convenient at all if you want to be close to the downtown Otaru sites.

Very comfortable hotel in a charmless locationPros: The beds were very comfy, which is not a given in Japan, even at this price range. And you can make the room nice and dark, which is a bonus with a summer sunrise of ca. 4:20 am. Cons: Not well suited to a family on a budget, with it's $22 buffet breakfast and coffee that costs $7.50 on its own. We ended up having breakfast in the room. Also, the location is not great — well out of the center in a post-industrial wasteland that my wife compared to the set of Blade Runner. Having said that, the nearby working port has its rustic charm.

It is the only luxury hotel in otaru :) Spacious room ; connected with a shopping outlet, 5 mins walk to JR station. Highly recommended!

Unbeatable sea view, convenient location, reasonable price, excellent service and rooms are very large with Japanese standards! Very satisfied!

It's a long way from the city center, and it's Hakodate this line. Fortunately connected with Aeon and outlet Wall, can fully meet the shopping needs. The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff were courteous.

Good n luxury room with reasonable price. View is awesome too bad is far from otaru canal n need take train to there. Remember take ocean view. Is was awesome.

Big western hotel with view of the yacht docks. The service was very professional and English speaking staffs were very friendly. The hotel is attached to the Aeon mall and is convenient to access. It is a little distance from the town center and canal and it's not very accessible by walking. The bath water temperature is set manually via hot and cold water feeds so it takes some time to set the water mixture to the temperature that is desirable.

Beautiful hotel with large spacious rooms. Bed was comfortable and facilities were adequate. View of the marina was breathtaking. Downside. It’s distance to Otaru mainstreet. I’d advise taking a taxi or the train. 30 minute hike I took was slightly torturous in the winter.

Hotel from Otaru only 2 stops, but very convenient! Hotel Downstairs is a big shopping mall, very good stroll, from the back door of the mall can also go to this small market, the seafood inside is cheap and fresh, at least I personally like it.

Spacious and clean room. Hotel adjacent to a shopping mall and near to station. I rent a car and there is a paid car park in hotel. They will give you a ticket so you can enter and exit easily. Shower water isn't that hot and the pressure is weak.

The predecessor is the Grand Park Otaru of the Hilton Hotel in small bottles, located next to the port of the small bottle Yacht wharf, the hotel downstairs is the shopping mall, the Sea View room has a good view, but the facilities are some old. The hotel buffet breakfast, the dining peak time seat is easy to be full, waits in line waiting outside! There are many features of Hokkaido cuisine. Self-driving passengers can park in the hotel basement parking lot, the tenant is not free, need to pay at their own expense!

Nice relatively spacious room with more than enough amenities. You can just walk in and stay. Evening and breakfast dinner is ok. Love the view and DIY parfait. Grilled hokkaido scallops are great. Careful for tourist, they have raw eggs to eat with rice and salmon sauce for breakfast, don't think it's boiled. Another highlight is you can walk straight from 1st and 2nd floor of the lobby to nearby shopping mall (Aeon) and outlet mall.

Overall a good night stay with clean rooms and toilet. The hotel also offered to hold on to our luggage before check-in.

Overall it is an amazing place. Although I felt the breakfast was not great. A more variety of choices would be better.

Very nice hotel, clean, nice view to the hills from my room in 17th floor. Just a few minute walk from otaruchikko station. Nice breakfast also in this hotel. And a mall just a step outside from the hotel with a lot of resto and AEON supermaket where we can shop for what we needs. Congrats to the stake holder.

A good 2 night stay in the property. Its located next to a mall with both supermarket (AEON) and restaurants. They have underground parking for those who plan to drive. (Fixed daily charges for hotel guests)

Not so convenient for who want go to the Otaru city center, but the hotel is very nice and worth the price! You can have a good panorama from the room and the breakfast here has so many choices.

Great hotel. Good for ski trip to Kiroro reseort. Shopping malls nearby.

Room is very big, especially the bathroom, was a shopping mall next to the hotel, convenient to the JR station.
