Nice cozy hotel room with excellent service. Really like the bed, and many choices of breakfast.

Staff were polite and helpful with luggage, room met expectations (furniture was showing some age, though), and the entire hotel has a wonderful atmosphere to it. Full-course dinner was amazing, mind-blowing. Would repeat.

Room was Spacious, ample area for luggage and backpacks. Quite a distance from the train station if you were to walk. Clean and nice stay for the winter.

This is the best hotel in Asahikawa. It's a luxurious hotel with nice views of city and good food! Their main restaurant by the lobby has lots of options and the food is delicious. If you are single you can choose one of the the smaller bedrooms, otherwise stick to the grand double room. They also have 4 types of suites but they are very expensive! The good thing about this hotel is you will never get wrong information and everything is fast! The location is great as its just about 5 to 6 min walk to the main train station which has a mall! Instead of walking to the station using the main road sidewalk, cross the road and walk through the parallel street which is for pedestrians only and has lots of restaurants and shops!

Lovely grand old style hotel. Close to the main pedestrain mall. Rooms are spacious & views over town from the higher levels are fabulous. Staff are all very professional & polite & speak some English. Rooms were a little too hot & stuffy overnight & there are no fitness facilities onsite. But there is an extensive day spa & bath house (for a cost)

Lobby and interior is indeed grand. Staff here spoke the best English out of the hotels we stayed at. Room was quite small though. I'd say it is still fair value and it's location is near the city center.

Clean and comfortable hotel, especially breakfast every day in the same restaurant, different style of food is very good, but the room is small, and the parking lot charges high, suggest to the nearby charge or free parking.

Short stay for us, but hotel staff and western style rooms were very nice. View from our 16th room was great. Good bakery on the first floor. No time to try the onsen, but reasonably priced.

Hotel is a fair walk from Asahikawa Station, est about 15 minutes walk. Rooms are clean and well maintained, the lady that cleans your room even leaves her name on a card after cleaning. Counter staff are helpful and knowledgeable albeit a bit stiff. There is a nice bar on the 17th floor with a nice night view of Asahikawa, can get a bit loud if there are business men a-round, go at later hours for a nice quiet drink with nice view. There are no washing machines for backpackers, although the staff was able to refer me to a nearby hotel 2 streets away with washing machine for public usage.

Good location. Good staff service. High level of English spoken. Staff helpful with shipping a package. Rooms are a bit cramped. Breakfast is good. Parking is 1000 a night, and not undercover.

Grand 5 star hotel in vintage style. Clean, comfortable and well furnished rooms with the full suite of amenities. Large onsen in the basement at a discounted rate for hotel guests. Walking distance to the main shopping stretch (the pedestrianised walkway) with plenty of bars and restaurants.

Considering the price $300 for 100sq room that was dark and dusty (air filters caked with dust). Rugs and fridge wreaked or mold. I'm totally confused why folks like this place. Probably our worst experience in all of Hokkaido hotels. The place looks more like a museum then a 4 star hotel. The upstairs bar heavily stained with smoke, maybe its just a business man stop over place… The staff was friendly and did their best to work with us.

Good breakfast, nice rooms. I would definitely stay here again. If you're on a ski trip they have parking for larger vans.
