Few minutes walk from train station. Nice rooms, good view of buildings with very much of a small own atmosphere. Clean rooms. Had a relaxing time here. Love the matcha-scent toilet papers in the bathrooms… you can buy them on the "Ginza" street nearby, which has many restaurants.
A simple, comfortable and no frills business hotel. Good location. Exit JR gates, take west exit and walk down left side of the street and you will reach Hotel Vista Shimizu in 3 to 4 mins. Pleasant and quiet surrounding with many food options along the street and nearby the JR. Overall, the room has good amenities and a pretty big bathroom. I could hear the trains passing by but was still bearable. Nice view of Shimizu Port & fish market. Breakfast was simple with sufficient choices. Air was fresh and it's not a crowded area so would recommend for a 2 nights stay to just chill and relax. There's a shuttle bus (exit East exit of Shimizu JR) which goes to S-Pulse Plaza nearby, which has a huge variety of souvenirs and local snacks to buy as well as restaurants serving local fresh seafood.
