I have so many wonderful things to say about I Gergoni it's difficult to know where to start. We are Canadian and held our wedding here in May of 2019. Communicating with host/owner Carlo from abroad was easy and he made us feel comfortable every step of the way. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like family, and Carlo and Paola's hospitality was unparalleled. They went above and beyond in so many ways to make our wedding lovely and catered to anything we could need. The rooms and property itself are even more beautiful than photos online can show. We hosted 30 of our friends and family members for the week of our wedding and everyone had an incredible time — it's the perfect spot for a family reunion and many of our guests have expressed interest in returning. Carlo and Paola have plenty of recommendations for restaurants, wineries and day trips in the area, all of which are worth exploring as the area of Umbria in which they are located is absolutely stunning (and yet surprisingly not very touristy). Honestly, I could spend an entire day talking about how incredible I Gergoni is, but you really need to experience it for yourself to fully understand the magic of the setting and the kindness of the people who live there.
