A true jewel nestled in nature. Extraordinary dishes in the true sense of the word. Quality and presentation at a higher level. To try absolutely. Carla and Marco will make you feel at ease. The top.

It may not look it from the road, but this place serves seriously good food. Our evening meals used beautifully cooked fresh local produce, and the presentation was as good as many highly regarded restaurants. The food was full of flavour, and is the best we have tasted in our 2 weeks in Italy. Their "Just Potatoes" crisps were as good as I have eaten anywhere. Our breakfasts were fresh and delicious. We weren't there for lunch, but can't see it being any less enjoyable. Chef Carla and partner Marco are talented and charming. Both are passionate about food and believe that you must love the look, then the smell, then the taste of food to truly enjoy it. Their customer numbers have been seriously affected by last October's 6.8 earthquake centred on nearby Norcia, which has reduced the passing traffic. They deserve to succeed, so stop in and try their food. If you are staying there, then please eat in-house. You won't be disappointed.

The Casaletto, that mix of courage and passion. Already because it takes courage to close a chapter of one's life and give a new beginning, completely different. It takes courage (and intelligence) to get involved, risking even. It takes courage to make an idea become "practical realization" and what will perhaps be "tomorrow", instead becomes "today". And then passion, which is commitment, involvement, sacrifice, total dedication, emotion and feelings. What is there and you notice it in the attention of the details, in every detail, in the journey of flavors, in the products that are interpreted to be exalted and not overturned, in the atmosphere and in the relationship with the customer who becomes, first of all, "person" with whom to share. Then thank you to Carla and Marco for being a tangible example of courage and passion with their Casaletto which, in this way, does not become a simple place to go, but a wonderful experience to live!

And a beautiful place surrounded by nature and mountains, and beside a river where there are many species of fish… gorgeous and the owners are a courtesy immense…

The place is nice and the service is very scenic. Unfortunately we have entered and we came out with hunger. Not to mention the price, lol. A lot of smoke and little roast.

The place is very nice, the quality leaves much to be desired, I had a cut that had to be Cooked normal, but to me that was nearly burnt out and cold, wants to pass as a local doc but it is not. Prices are very exaggerated.

Location, environment, outside and inside, everything was fabulous and the kitchen a delight of the palate of the view, to smell.

I discovered by chance, passing over the Valnerina valley, in search of a place to have lunch. You eat very well, of course the portions are not "maxi", but the location and quality of the products, compensate. Efficient service and staff helpful and friendly.

Nice place nestled among the mountains next to the river, great food cooked beautifully, service is good not for those who are accustomed, however, to the portions of the maxi. Try if you pass in val Nerina.

When there is passion for the kitchen you can see it! In a beautiful farmhouse overlooking the river, The owners have managed to create a delightful menu and original, starting from excellent raw materials of the Val Nerina. Foods are chosen with care by local producers and cooked with respect, but at the same time moving away from the culinary offer of the area that had been approved by the usual dishes of the umbrian tradition. A restaurant that according to me will become deservedly dining destination in the region.
