Very close to the ski lifts of Monte Amiata. Friendly staff and very good value for money. The polenta with mushrooms was sublime.

Near the summit of Mount Amiata and in front of one of the main slopes (with relative chairlift and ski lift). Courteous and welcoming staff, the style is very years ' 70 (for admission of the same, very kind owner), and the restaurant is part of the structure you can enjoy many delicacies typically mountainous. Perfect even for a weekend view of the convenience of the location.

You eat from, God! Warm and well-run cozy place! The guest is treated as King! What else do you want?

Property a little dated but still comfortable and welcoming. Staff very friendly and helpful, will definitely make you feel at home. Worthy of note is the restaurant: typical dishes (mushrooms, chestnuts) and genuine. Worth the stop to view the beautiful location.

We stayed at the shelter in July last year. We were thrilled because we had made one of the best eat roasted porcini. We went back this year and I can't help but recommend it to anyone who wants to eat a simple cooking and exquisite. Cuisine based on traditional dishes but unique flavors. We ate polenta with porcini mushrooms. Fab! My daughter took of gnocchi with white sauce cinta senese. Gorgeous! then we get a mixed Grill. Really good meat. Tender and flavorful. And then came the piece from 90. Roasted Porcini chapels and fried mushrooms. Fabulous. The desserts were a real lust. Out of all the pie with cream and apples but also the other tarts and the mille feuille were wickedly delicious. Excellent wine that he recommended the owner who is very kind and very thoughtful as all the staff. Great value for money. Truly a place to try to rediscover those perfumes than once and eaten as is traditional mountain huts. I haven't figured out how we had to get up from the table at the end. What is certain is that we were all pleased and hope to return again next year. Thank you … thank you.

Three days of warm hospitality and great food, the refuge Cantore is perfect for families with children. Thanks to Elizabeth and all of his staff.

Everything perfect. Warm, friendly and professional staff, great food quality and quantity. Recommended both the winter (the entrance is on a ski slope) that summer (the mountain offers various summer attractions).
