Farm Stay

Had us looking forward to 3 nights in the newly renovated hotel, but … Unfortunately, the walls were not dry yet and in the room it was unbearably damp — you always had the mortar smell in your nose. It was cold and we froze in the restaurant and also at night still in bed, as everything was clam — there was no heating option! In the evening, the water was only lukewarm everywhere, so a "thawing ' in the shower was not possible. We did not get the booked large room with a view of San Gimignano and balcony, as only 3 rooms were finished and occupied throughout the house, so a move was also ruled out. We were housed in a small stall reminiscent of a cell rather than a feel-good room — unsightly view of the back building. There was no runner in the shower, there was a lack of shower separation, so the whole bathroom got wet. The whole room was bald (perhaps the new motto? ) and uncomfortable.
The food was o. K. And the staff very friendly, but that was not enough, so we left after a night.
We were very disappointed!

The Agriturismo I Pini has convinced us absolutely. We were four nights there. The view is gorgeous, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast was exceptionally good and has convinced us as vegetarians but absolutely. It spreads like Hummus, Guacamole, jam, etc. Served with homemade whole-grain bread, tart, Antipasti, fruit, cakes and much more. Every day, the Breakfast varies a little. If you can't be expected just continental standard Breakfast and also on cheese and Egg without, should not be disappointed. The room was simple but totally sufficient and clean. We even had the luck to be able to a day at the wine harvest, help. A very nice experience. As a reward, it was a lunch, and house-to-recommend their own wine (very! ). We get our lives back. Absolute Recommendation.

Peace and quiet in fantastic scenery. Not too far from Siena and Firenze and Volterra. Great breakfast with no meats. Rather hard beds. Sublime friendly service.

Lovely place, breathtaking view, quiet, very well-maintained, clean, themed rooms, and cozy and romantic. The staff is very nice polite and helpful to your needs. The council without delay, I will return as soon as possible.

Very good reception too bad he doesn't speak French. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Rich buffet breakfast. Attention no Wi-Fi in the rooms only at reception and on the terrace. Very close to San Giminiano but the access is not shown next to the P2 car park.

Unfortunately, absolutely disappointing! Rooms small, dark and unfortunately also dirty. Mosquitoes and mosquito corpses everywhere in the room. The farm is strictly vegetarian and strictly Anti-Smoking. This is nowhere mentioned. The Breakfast was the worst on our trip! Only vegetarian food but even this unloving and very sparse. For each Breakfast-Egg, an extra charge of 2 Euro had to (! ) be paid. Own vineyards and harvest time… we have seen a single dreary brown grapes on the Breakfast"buffet"… The access road is an absolute disaster! And heaven knows we're not sensitive. Huge holes, everything out and dust everywhere and Dirt. Walk to San Gimignano? This would, theoretically, only one looks from top to bottom dirty. In the dark, the way is very creepy, because completely without lighting. The staff we can not mention, unfortunately, is also full of praise. Very confused and ignorant of the waitresses and the Chef, unfortunately, in the event of confrontation with our assessment, little responsive. Nice idea but unfortunately very carelessly implemented and to profit maximization oriented. For us, not recommended!

The general condition of Hotel Agriturismo I Pini in San Gimignano is fantastic. The rooms are all new and pay great attention to details. An absolute plus is the cleanliness of the entire house. Location is perfect — very quiet but only 15 walking minutes to the centre of San Gimignano. Absolutely recommendable.
