Stayed here in April, couldnt of asked for a nicer place to stay. Staff were friendly and always at hand. Grounds are stunning and the rooms so tastefully done.

The villa had amazing staff, stunning views and a yummy breakfast. Only a 7 min drive to Lucca. I cannot say more anything more than thank you for your hospitality… amazing!

We spent one night in this villa during the Lucca Comics. A wonderful place, only a few minutes to centre of Lucca but immersed in the greenery and quiet. We spent the night in a room in the annexe and it was all in order and clean, we enjoyed the very spacious bathroom. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff were friendly.

We had an incredible stay here to end our honeymoon touring Italy. Our room (a classic double) was great-very clean, comfortable and felt homely. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, we received excellent customer service. Infact, it was the best we had received from the five hotels we’d stayed during our tour. The waiters/waitresses were friendly, polite and attentive. We ate twice in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The waiter was also very knowledgeable about the wine list. The pool area was very relaxing and you could also eat drinks around there. These always came with crisps, nuts and olives. We absolutely loved our stay here and have already recommended it to relatives back home. Thank you for helping our honeymoon end so well! ❤️

We stayed there 5 nights, everything was perfect: the welcome of the staff, the quality and grandeur of the rooms, the pool, the restaurant, breakfast with homemade pastries.

Dining in the restaurant is fantastic, but make a reservation. The breakfast is good too. They have bikes to visit Lucca and you can cycle along the aqueduct.

We spent two nights in one of the deluxe rooms during out Tuscany roundtrip.
Hotel is great, located in good distance to Pisa, with wonderful authentic interior and surrounding garden.
Unfortunately on our arrival at 02:45 p. M. The room was not ready and had to be finished until 03:00 p. M. Which is the official check-in time. There was no help with our luggage, until we made very clear that we would need it. Overall the check-in was somewhat „cool“ and in no way a heartly welcome. But with other staff at the front-desk that evening, everything was fine and according to the ambitions and style of Villa Marta. Hence we assume that our check-in experience that day was just kind of bad luck.

Place immersed in the green countryside of Lucca.

Nice fancy hotel, unfortunately we didnt have hot water in the shower. Was later resolved, but still annoying. Rest of the stay was ok. Food at breakfast was very Italian. Most warm dishes like scrambled eggs were at surcharge.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything is there to spend a pleasant stay.

Wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. It’s a traditional villa in a beautiful location surrounded by nature, very quiet and peaceful. We had a deluxe room which was spacious and with lovely views. The staff were so friendly, helpful and genuinely lovely people… we had a wonderful stay. It was my birthday on one of the days we stayed and they brought me a home made cake with a candle… it was very special. The restaurant is also great. I highly recommend this hotel. Fantastic.

Restaurant in greenhouse style loggia in the garden. Excellent appetizers and first of fish and second of lamb with impeccable service and wines at the height. An Easter lunch that couldn't be better. To recommend.

Quiet location, centrally located. Eight-10min. To the centre to Lucca. 1h to Florence. You can start beautiful tours of Tuscany from here…
The only disadvantage with us was the Wi-Fi connection. They tried to get to grips with it at the end of their stay.

The restaurant was not open yet but the hotel provides a list of nearby establishments for all the very copious breakfasts, impeccable service and extreme friendliness of the staff.

In just two months, O2 Studio has transformed this 18th century chapel into a room with a design respectful of the historical, artistic and cultural value of the building and, at the same time, modern and functional.

A dream come true, personal majísimo, the place is wonderful, the breakfast is a pass, gardens full of smells and colors is a pleasure for the senses and if you walk around these places of Tuscany with this wonderful climate in the middle of winter, a dream made Reality.

We have stayed here several times… without doubt one of our very best places to stay and chill out… the staff and rooms are lovely… can't praise the care and attention enough… and you can hire bikes soo near Lucca to roam the streets!

What a gem! We chose this place without too much research — we wanted a place close to Lucca with parking and this fit the bill. But what a beautiful place it is. We were lucky to be staying in the new converted chapel suite, with an enormous bathroom and separate bath. With the bed below the chapel alter you can gaze up at the starry ceiling and pray for how lucky you are to have ended up here. Beautiful gardens and a large pool make this the perfect retreat when visiting Lucca in the heat of summer. The breakfast buffet is extensive and delicious. Would return in a heartbeat.

A wonderful and immaculate villa hotel, superbly appointed, and residing in the most beautiful Tuscan setting. Owners and staff could not not be more friendly and accommodating, and the entire establishment justs brims with quality, coupled with the most laid — back relaxed atmosphere! Eating here was excellent, and as a gluten — intolerant Coeliac sufferer, I was amazed at the unbelievable care and attention given to my dietary requirements which exceeded all expectations, and made breakfast an almost 'Michelin' experience! My wife and I love the place, and without hesitation will return again at the first opportunity! We award Villa Marta 6 Stars!
