Excellent accommodation with history in beautiful Firenze, impeccable Giovanni the host, clean accommodation, breakfast of ten.

Great little guest house done in a Florentine setting. Rooms are large with everything you could need. Great location short walk to the cathedral and shops staff was very friendly and helpful would highly recommend Residenza ll Villino to anyone.

The place is well located, and the room is spacious and clean. But there is no receptionist during the night which gives some sense of insecurity.

The place is great and very well located. On the other hand, the host was very unfriendly. We booked the same day at noon on booking and got a good price for the location (60% discount). This seemed to bother our host that did us know.
In addition he would like that we informed him of our arrival time, but being on the road all the afternoon, we could not communicate (no internet connection). He was so unhappy at our arrival (18: 00).
With booking I was entitled to 2 bikes for free to visit the city. Our host made us realize that this bothered him in the evening. Ok.
The next morning we get the bikes but trying to inflate a tire the little tip of the air Chamber breaks (mea culpa). And here our host becomes furious, we fight openly, we blame the fact that we had the room at low prices, and becomes completely contemptuous, we reiterated that we did not specify our arrival time the day before (sorry man, I was driving! ).
Then, in view of hatred that he we was, after having paid the repair of the room air (€12… UM), we picked up our stuff and left.
I hope that this gentleman was just in a bad mood and that's not in the habit of reacting like that with its customers. Otherwise it will have to consider another line of work.
However, the son-in-law of the owner, Giovanni, was very friendly, helpful and smiling.

I have hesitated reviewing but feel compelled now. I too have stayed here at this B&B and I can confirm with the other low reviewers that this place is not great by any means. And the breakfast is very very cheap. What is disturbing is that the proprietor takes such offense by the negative reviews, announcing that people have not stayed there or they are fake. He should become aware with the Italian tradition that many women use their maiden names instead of their married names, which may be the reason why he can't identify them with his registration names, as is the case with me. So you look foolish by adding insult to injury as we wasted our hard earned money to stay in a place where we were not treated well, had an unpleasant stay and are telling you so in this review. I live on Via degli Alfani now, so don't insult me since I know everyone in the area.

I was very disappointed with my stay here. The breakfast was stingy and meager. They put out 3 pieces of ham on a plate at a time to control how much guests take. No fresh foccaccia here. If tthere are a lot of people eating, they don't replace the ham or anything else and many times, I just left and went around the corner to the bar for breakfast. It is silly. I had one of the worst rooms in the entire place, up up up stairs, next door to a couple who fights 24/7, and has a young son, so it was very disturbing and abusive. Really just a bad time, and I was there for 3 weeks. I left early and went to another B and B.

Had a fantastic time here. Location is great, a 5 minute walk from the Duomo but located on a quiet street. Rooms are nice, charming and clean. There's a beautiful courtyard that was perfect for taking a break from sightseeing, climbing the Duomo steps, etc. By far the best part about it was the service. A couple and their son give great recommendations and genuinely care that you enjoy the city. Would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy Florence.

My husband and I stayed at this bed and breakfast in August for 4 nights on our honeymoon. This place was absolutely charming and their hospitality was exceptional. The location was perfect as well. It was so close to the duomo yet off a side street where it was quiet and relaxing in the courtyard. Would highly recommend.
