Loved our stay at relais modern. Very friendly staff, clean room and walking distance from city center. We did feel ripped off by unexpected parking charges when we left, so would recommend parking elsewhere.

Cool B&B In a side street of the famous basilica. Nice modern rooms in an awesome old building. Just a short walk to the museum with the real david.

O B&B fica numa ótima localização há 1 km do Duomo de Florença (Igreja Santa Fiore). As instalações são excelentes, incluindo banheiros, ducha, tv, etc. O atendimento pessoa encerra 13 horas, mas o atendimento por e-mail/telefone é muito bom. Não tive problemas pra contatar o Staff. Não usei o serviço de café da manhã pra avaliar.

Wonderful, cosy and modern hotel. Delicious breakfast, comfortable beds, therapeutic shower and perfect sleep was aided by blackout shutters. The staff was also top notch. Would stay again.

Staff was very nice. The hotel is staffed from 8am to 1pm. The breakfast is delightful and they provide fresh squeezed orange juice. Very simple space. Reasonable minibar prices (if that’s your thing). 3 stars due to the accommodations plagued with issues. Our shower leaked, we couldn’t get the night shade to work and there was no staff at night to assist, TV didn’t work. Overall a good experience, but could have been better.

Very nice stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A/C doesn't seem to work the best but consistent for Italy. Staff were vet accommodating.

The hotel is not far from Florence dome. The room is quite small but nice. The only drawback are the slim walls so you can hear people talking in the other rooms.

Very nice stay. It's located just outside the center of Florence (walking distance). You can tell this place is run by passionate people. Each morning start off​ with fresh juice and the staff is very friendly. I can warmly recommend staying at relais modern.

Nice location.

Worst experience since a long time. This hotel is located on the ground floor, next to a very noisy and busy road. At the check-in at 10 am, we realised that and asked if we could have a quiet room but according to the receptionist, there was none… When we came back to sleep, we foind out that it was just IMPOSSIBLE : Every fews seconds you'll hear either cars, buses, motorcycles passing just 2 meters from your window…

Relatively low value, does not have reception at night, too noisy.

This is a great hotel with everything you need for a great price. It's located just a couple blocks north of everything and closer than it looks on a map. Clean and a great breakfast to boot.

I was there 3 years ago. In september and was an amazing surprise when they upgrade us to an apartment close to the main atractions just 2 blocks from ponte vecchio. The attendant who was the owner was a very attentive guy. Her mom receive me with flowers in the suite which was a nice touch. I enjoy it so much.

This is truthfully the best hotel I have ever stayed at. I absolutely loved it. The staff were super helpful, and friendly. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and they felt just like home. It was sometimes even hard to leave the room, because it was so nice. The pictures actually look like the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Top-notch experience. Impeccably clean. Very spacious. Delightful, refreshing decor with excellent storage kept our room tidy & organized. Lovely breakfast. Staff had helpful maps, tour books, and advice. Friendly but not intrusive — just right. Great location 5 min to Academia and Botanical Garden. Recommended!

Simple clean and professional staff.

I stayed at the Relais Modern during my research in 2009. My experience of staying at this charming, clean, stylish accommodation — located in a walking distance to major museums and notable sites in Florence — — was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The atmosphere of the place is so home-like that we almost forgot that we were away from home. Stefano (and entire his family) and Falvio welcomed us with incredible kindness and professionalism. I now am returning to Florence to continue my work, and I am so looking forward to be back to Relais Modern.
