Good Location, beautiful hotel and good service. And when I left my box in the hotel Giancarlo Del Vecchio contacted me and managed everything to get it back to me. Really awesome!

The hotels location is great, you can take the C2 or the C3 to reach the main attraction in the city which are a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The breakfast is very complete and tasty and the hotel overall decorations is amazing. I was expecting more space in the room and the Wi-Fi signal in the third floor is weak.

Very clean and spacious rooms, very confortable beds, great breakfast and really great staff. Situated in a confortable place. In sum, this hotel is a very good choice, although it could benefit from a renovation.

Booked a superior room and it was lovely and spacious. The decor was fine and always very clean. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, even pulling together a little breakfast for us when we missed the slot. The location was a little out the way, but still only a 15 minute walk to the centre, although it feels a little longer in the heat! Overall completely happy with our stay, and would recommend!

Stayed in a large group and enjoyed the hotel, leaving however wasn't so easy with the tiny lift and 30 peoples suitcases to shift.

Nice hotel in a quiet area. Room was not so nice and not fit to a family with small child. After complaint I got a much nicer room.

Large and spacious rooms with many comforts. Missing ironing board and view from the first floor is not the best but great area with everything there is to see within walking distance.

Good hotel it's in a good location on the side of the city. 15 min walk to the sights. There's a lot of little restaurants and stuff around it. It's quaint, open the shutters, its old hotel has a tiny elevator for one, breakfast fantastic, coffee machine is great, local cheeses and Foods. Staff helped us out where should we go eat. With cabs. Staff five stars hotel Four. Rick Steves recommended there's lots of Rick Steves YouTube videos for anywhere you're going. That will help you out. Roman guy is good too. Florence is the leather capital of the world they have amazing lambskin leather shops. Avoid the street vendors, not Italian leather. Shop can make you a custom fit coat. Send it to your house in 10 days for like $550 it was just amazing. Warning sales taxes 22.5% and the line at the airport is ridiculous you're not getting your tax money back.

Very large and clean rooms however bathroom sink casing we missing large pieces of wood and there was old foam glue left all over it. Made the bathroom look/feel dirty. Convenient location in Florence to many sights and the hop on/off tour stop. Hotel staff not very friendly or helpful and always seem to be under staffed. They will not exchange most money, even if small amounts and could not advise nearest money exchange to hotel. Would think twice before staying in this hotel based on my experience.

Elegant and Hotel Bsstante Classic. Typical of city like Florence. Clean and nice rooms. They should improve the hallways, I hate carpeting.

Structure a little ' dated ' and in some details you will notice the passage of the… time. A little surgery of… facelift wouldn't hurt. Good breakfast: The coffee and/or cappuccino are served by 2 dispensing machines in the breakfast area; In order to express yourself you must ask the staff for a room. Need 20 ' to get to the city center area: Duomo and Signoria.

An older hotel located about 15 minutes walking from the city center. We chose to stay here because it's only 10 minutes walking from the train station and we didn't want to carry our luggages from the train station the the city center. Our room all the standard amenities you'd find in an American hotel minus the the clothing iron. The hotel has breakfast for 16 Euros a night if you didn't pre-pay for it. The breakfast food selection was a bit limited, but was tasty and the convienence is worth the 16 Euros. There is no dinner restaurant here so you'll have to look elsewhere for your other meals. I'm removing a star because the building's air conditioner was disabled the first night we were here. Apparently they hadn't switched on the AC yet because they were still on the winter schedule even though it was pretty hot. It threw off our sleep because it was was hot and stuffy in our room so we didn't get a good night's rest. We ended up sleeping until 1PM the next day because they turned on the AC after we ate breakfast.

The room is not very clean. Very skimpy breakfast. Was in another hotel of this chain in Rome 3 days ago, quite another thing. Far enough from the center. The room is very gloomy and insanely old. Bar with normal prices. The management and attendants are very friendly (only for this and put 2 stars) The price is absolutely not consistent with the room. (Of course, there are very few in the room, but this just did not want to return)

Spacious rooms, located in the center of Florence in a period palace. One of the nicest hotels I've ever seen.

Excellent location, close to the station and for long walks by the river. All amenities are a short walk. Lovely clean rooms, comfy beds, and very welcoming staff.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Quite nice and comfortable; Very good service at any time and I have not had any problems about it. The room was very nice and comfortable. The spacious and comfortable bathroom, besides being nice. Regarding the breakfast I will say it has a great Buffet, great variety of food, plus as I said before good service. On the contrary the only bad thing you can say is closing the restaurant for dinner so you will have to always look for some solution at night. In summary very good place to rest while enjoying this great city. I have to add that it has a good location, which will help you capture a wide variety of Pokemon and remake of Pokeballs in the Pokeparadas.

Excellent hotel. We did an upgrade to a spectacular room. The suggestions of the front desk guys to eat also very good. Very good breakfast (next to the NH abascal of Madrid The two best of the chain that we tried) to 5 minutes walking of the Ponte Vecchio.

BED BUGS! I came with my girlfriend 2 weeks ago and we got bitten by many insects (bed bugs)! Unfortunately for us, we brought the bed bugs back home in our flat in Paris. We had to pay 700 € to get rid off the bed bugs in the flat. It was a real nightmare during 2 weeks. The hotel refuses to take responsibility for that. If you don't want to be bitten by bed bugs and infest your home, DON'T DO TO THIS HOTEL.

The location
In addition to having bed bugs in their rooms, the hotel does not recognize that I was stung in its establishment, and refuses any negotiation. I already paid more than 800 euros to get the whole apartment sanitized, and the hotel refuses to accept its share of responsibility. If you do not want to live a hell after your stay in Florence avoid this HOTEL! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.

One of my favorite hotels in Florence. Classic, elegant, spacious rooms, breakfast of 10, very quiet area and close to the historic center.
The last times I've been I've noticed quite deteriorated: walls chopped, faucets filthy, shower curtains idem…
As for the staff, as always in NH, perfect.

Spacious. Clean environment. Good breakfast Suitable for both singles and families. Only drawback the windows are thin and you hear the street noises. Overall I would go back.

The hotel is run down and renovierungsbedütftig at many corners and ends. It mieft in the hallways and in the bathroom. Breakfast is good (classic NH). Valet service costs over €50 a day. Note on Park + ride was not given by reception. Price-performance is not right.

Classy and elegant comfortably located at a walking distance from the heart of the city of Florence. Very practical for those who need a touch and go for an embassy appointment. The staff is courteous and helpful. The hotel doesn't have a proper business centre, but the reception can help with information and printing needs. Only struggle finding a parking spot, especially if you arrive with the car during business/office time. Be prepared to put some money for a garage parking accomodation.

The place is very good. Spacious rooms and very comfortable but if you are with car charge you the parking and every time you retire you charge a plus that makes you end up leaving expensive the stay there.

Great also for business trips. Near the train station, rooms and breakfast are perfect. Probably one more guy to the reception it would be better.

The reception staff and the restaurant are helpful. The only star I put is due to the lamentable state of the rooms, chips on the walls, the paper raised, the peaks of the shattered Plinths… it is not an excuse that the building is old, is a problem of lack of maintenance. Another disaster is cleanliness. We arrived with rain and the 4 days of stay was on the ground the piece of mud that we brought in the boots. In the bathroom, the threads that I went to the ground on the second day, also stayed the rest of the stay. In the hallway, at the door of the room Desconchó a piece of plinth (white paint on carpet ocuro blue) and there is two days later. In short, 4 stars gifted…

Stayed 2 nights in the NH Firenze Anglo American. The lobby was very nice as was the breakfast. Our room was awful! The wallpaper was peeling, in dire need of having the trim painted, curtains just about falling off the rods. The worst part was our bathroom. The floor was sticky, very sticky, from the minute we first walked in. I was thankful I had my shoes on! Even when we took a shower we put towels on the floor so we didn't have to touch the tile. We asked to have the floor cleaned the next day but it was not. I've never stayed in a hotel that was that dirty. We understand others in our group had nice rooms so we know they were available.

The service and the quality in breakfast as always of excellent quality NH style. The property of the hotel deplorable. The wallpaper of the rooms is falling, the parquet is disgusting the hallways of rooms with paintings that fall from years ago. I was very disappointed because we expected another quality of a NH.

Very nice hotel, comfortable bed, huge room, and above average service. We enjoyed our stay here. The included breakfast was high quality as well. Also, the hotel bartender pours generous drink portions! The one downside is the location is just OK — not a great location. Other than that it's a very good hotel.

This is a real American 2, 5 star Motel. Place has no parking, you need to pay €25.00 per night additionally to have it parked off site where you won't have access to it entire your stay. Brakefast is very basic.

Very nice hotel, although a bit ' tired ', impeccable services, ideal position… Finally, comfortable room although not very large, very nice bathroom, safe, mini fridge provided, everything OK (really everything).

Hotel is just outside the centre of Florence. Rooms are dated & need refurbishment. Breakfast was varied and good. Reception pleasant and helpful.

Hotel in style which however would need some maintenance. In my room the wallpaper was about to come off and the window looked into an inner courtyard. Kind and prepared the staff.

We stayed for a meeting on May 13th, room clean, quiet and spacious, bathroom with all comfort and spacious, very pleasant breakfast made on 14/5 with good choice and excellent fruit in Macedonia. Great flaw, the Wi-Fi practically unusable given the remarkable scarcity of navigation. Excellent location in the central area of the city and more than good the inner courtyard furnished with sofas and parasols. Price paid in the standard for the quality of services.

The hotel is cozy although the weight of the years of the property is noted. The room is cozy and spacious but lacks convenience for the arrangement of electrical outlets. I was not lucky with the view from the window, the wall in front. For the event/meeting for which I was a guest a note of demerit goes to Wi-Fi, really poor.

Very stylish hotel, fairytale double beds, superb breakfast, professional and kind staff (except in the breakfast room where they clear in the table while you're eating), very slow Wi-Fi.

In a great quiet location within 10 minute walk to the centre of Florence, this hotel was elegant and charming, staff were lovely and it had a beautiful ambience. The twin room was well appointed with a delightful period bathroom, and overlooked a side street in a residential area hence was very quiet. There was a lovely inner courtyard with seating and canopy, lovely for evening drinks or open air dining.
The breakfast buffet as delicious with plenty of choice and delicious pastries!

The only good thing about this hotel is the hall. The room was pretty bad, window not opening, walls were stained, no plugs near the bedside tables, no kettle and coffee/teas. Bathroom was very oddly arranged… Also not central at all.

We in Italy for their honeymoon when staying here. Florence is a beautiful city, the hotel is in the Centre of the city. Nice room, excellent staff, best location in Florence. Enjoy here, I will come again.

Loved the rooms had a split level with a king size bed on top level and a twin on main level. Two full size bathrooms. I would stay here again staff very friendly and close to the square.

Hotel chain NH located in a quiet area of Florence. Ten minutes from the train station and next to the river Arno. The hotel's decor is classic, with wooden floors and furniture of mahogany and cherry. It is a little old and needs a remodel, but is generally good. The rooms are cozy and pleasant. The breakfast buffet is extensive, offering wide variety and request you get specific products such as lactose-free milk or GLUTEN-free bread. The service is attentive and efficient, you try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Good relationship quality-price.

It's a great hotel, staff is friendly, there is complementary breakfast, the rooms are nice and it has it's own private little plazza. It's also very close to the center, and you can walk by the river which makes for excellent views.

Worst Experience EVER! Reserved July 17 — 19, 2014. My worst experience with any hotel in my life would be with NH Hotel. I booked my Florence, Italy accommodation through Expedia for the wrong month but notified NH immediately after I reserved. Expedia reassured me that this mistake is common but most hotels would understand and honour a refund for such issues. After several emails and long distance phone calls, NH has declined my request since it is "non-refundable" rate and will just pocket my money. ‪#‎worstexperienceever‬ ‪#‎worsthotel‬ ‪#‎worstcustomerservice‬ ‪#‎wonteverstayhere‬.

Checked in at lunchtime, informed front desk that a/c in my room wasn't working, after a bit of persuading I convinced then to send someone to fix it. Arrived back in the evening; room indicated 30 deg C and a/c still broken so requested a new room — told no — requested a fan — told no — advised to open window. Neighbors (not in hotel) TV on full, and still fairly hot outside, so not an option. Facilities obviously don't work; front desk has a bit of an attitude and obviously incompetent. Go elsewhere — there are plenty of good hotels in Florence.
