What a wonderful hotel. We loved every minute of our stay. The hotel staff were welcoming and incredibly helpful. Breakfast was amazing and the restaurant was delightful. Just wonderful.

Lovely quiet hotel about 3 miles from Florence. Useful shuttle bus into the centre 6 times a day. Fantastic intimate spa which you reserve for your own use. The restaurant is fine dining and whilst it isn’t cheap it’s well worth a visit as the food is divine.

Lovely place to stay. The restaurant staff and the concierge are 1st rate.

Fabulous! Super nice hotel. Very attentive and friendly staff. We felt very comfortable. Breakfast is great! Dinner very fine but small. Too expensive for that. I can still recommend this hotel because we still talk positively about how comfortable we felt.

We had a great stay here for 10 nights — Lovely clean hotel by the river just outside the city of Florence — Free daily shuttles in and out of the city — nice clean 20 seater bus with AC — our room was right next to the river which was very nice — great views nice terrace and also big swimming pool! Nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city — taxis are approx 25 euros each way depending on the time of day can be more — we also rented a car and they have plenty of free parking — big hearty breakfasts are included — on a nice outdoor terrace (weather permitting) We ate at the Hotel restaurant 2 nights — food was very good — only complaint was menu did not change that much each night. A big Thank you to all the staff for making our trip so memorable — Grazie Mille! We will be back one day.

4s? It's a top four star worth five. And beautiful floods. It has all the comforts and a service that doesn't make you think about how much you're spending. The money it costs, it's worth all of it. From free water in the room to mobile phone available for free international calls to take wherever you want. Parking (free) with charging station for electric cars. Shuttle to the center and even the weather of the stay period on the welcome paper (custom with the name). Not to be believed. The reception is outstanding, top level, with really nice and qualified staff. Breakfast has it all. But just everything. The best service I've ever seen. Very good.

Stayed for 4 nights and had a fantastic stay; the staff are really accomodating and friendly, hotel location is beautiful and a free shuttle bus is offered into the heart of Florence. Would 100% recommend and definitely stay again! — perfect for a romantic getaway.

Beautiful area and just far enough away to escape the traffic and noise of the city. Very friendly and helpful staff with an excellent restaurant. Nice pool area and terrace for relaxing. Notes for travelers: A taxi back and forth to the city will range from 22-30 Euro each way and the shuttle is more for day trips as it's not suitable for back and forth. Book tours and trips in advance. There are no bikes available at the hotel. All the staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful with the exception of one late night desk clerk who didn't seem to wish to be bothered or to help much.

The location is spectacular. Overlooking the riverfront. The property has a windmill connected to the outdoor swimming pool.

Lovely Place, cared for in the smallest detail. I had the pleasure to meet him during a business meeting and I fell in love with it.

Beautiful location. Rooms were clean but did not have any real curtains which made sleeping past sunrise impossible. Hard beds. Front desk staff was good. Restaurant staff not so much. Very inflexible and borderline rude. Very limited menu. Bar food menu looked good but most items were never available. Ended up leaving hungry and tired. Would not recommend.

One minor downer… need a Netflix or similar streaming service, chromecast etc can't work on public Wi-Fi … but that's literally the only fussy criticism there can be. Lovely hotel.

Location isolated but close to center (by car) 10-15 minuets.
Well trained staff and perfect when needed.
Transportation to center as written in the brochures only in the summer but do not take a taxi it’s €25 one way.
I will be surly returning.

Oh yeah, and FREE newer nicely lighted covered parking just across small street from entrance. But WATCH OUT for the speeding cars that seemingly come out of nowhere when crossing the small street.

The hotel is located off Florence, directly on the Arno River. The location could be very nice if you didn't look at an industrial area (it could also be a barracks).
The prices are the location (you can not reach an alternative in walking distance — the last shuttle bus runs appropriately at 6pm) and therefore, from our point of view, far too high. Dinner with River view is only possible when using the restaurant and booking a la carte. The noodles with Zuchiniblüte were manageable by the crowd and the flowers, the heart of the dish, were missing. A snack in the bar (noodles with pesto) was more likely to be considered as an appetizer, but was more of a main course.
The rooms are clean. All in all, we can only recommend the hotel on our own arrival by car.
The pool is nice, but in the high season it pays to go there early, otherwise there will be reserved by towel.
In our view, there are far better alternatives, especially in Florence.

Environment Ameno, elegant place along the river Arno. The furniture is made up of collectors ' pieces! It is also a romantic place as well as beautiful!

Like the hotel I put 4 stars. The area is beautiful with a small accessible Park, seen on the River Arno from most of the rooms. Very chic hotel with marble bathroom and Jacuzzi bathtub. SPA with sauna on reservation and swimming pool in the summer. The restaurant is good and most of the hosts are multilingual. Parking is a garage with free camera, you have someone who helps you carry the suitcases. Doors open by badge, free mini bar and safe deposit box available. The bathroom has a bidet and a heated towel holder with all the necessary including soaps, shampoos and hairdryer. There are a lot of power outlets and Wi-Fi is free. Perfect for a relaxing and romantic weekend getaway.

Very nice Hotel located in the first Florentine countryside ideal for those who want a relaxing stay just a few km from the center of Florence, located next to the River Arno which is the main river that crosses Florence.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 days and found the service and experience extremely wonderful. The staff were very friendly and always provided quick assistance through out our time. The hotel it self was lovely with stunning views of the river and provided shuttle service into the main city every day. The hotel receives 5 stars from me for a truly wonderful experience. I was here for a convention. Beautiful place. Only drawback the few parking spaces available. However there is a free shuttle service from the hotel Villa Olmi which is of the same property.

Great location. It is in the territory of the former mill on the Arno River. Free and large parking. Fancy historical interiors. The price of the room includes an hour in the sauna and the Hamami. Staff is professional. Breakfast Tasty.

For 5Nächte there. Staff nice and accommodating. Rooms super nice and clean. Several times Daily a Shuttle bus to Florence, or you can borrow bicycles free of charge. The Breakfast was great and the food at the in-House Restaurant. The Pool was just like the Rest of the well maintained outdoor facilities very much. To recommend a total of really only and very relaxing.

We just stayed here for 4 days on our honeymoon. This place was amazing! Beautiful hotel and the staff were incredible! Loved the free shuttle bus to and from the city everyday, as well as the free bike rentals! The restaurant is superb! You will not be disappointed! By far the best place we stayed in all of Italy!

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at this beautiful hotel which we stayed in from 9th to 12th April 2016. Firstly the parking was excellent and secure, the man at reception was very welcoming, as was the egyption bellboy/man who took our bags to our room which looked back up the serene river and the room only needed a curtain in the bathroom to give a little privacy. The shuttle service and breakfasts were great, the barman was excellent, for my wife he found the cocktail recipe for a Singapore Sling which made her very happy before and after the drink. The whole stay was simply sensational and made the Florence part of our trip that much greater.

If you want a countryside retreat just outside the city center, there is no better hotel to choose. The rooms beautifully decorated, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is the perfect hotel for a romantic getaway or to relax after sightseeing. This hotel sits right on the river and you have wonderful views in every direction. This historic hotel was once the flour mill of all of Florence. After a major flood in 1966 caused by the Arno river which killed 31 people and damaged many parts of Florence. The flour mill was destroyed (40%). The owners of the mill couldn't restore the mill so they offered it to the city of Florence and they would keeping working there. In 2000 the building was auctioned up and was sold as a lease only for 99 years. To keep this historic building a part of Florence and prevent anyone from destroying the building and building on top of it. It took the current owners the next 10 years to obtain the right permits, paperwork, and to restore the hotel to its current state. The hotel opened in June of 2010. According to Aldo the hotel ambassador all the works of art in the building are original works and not reproductions.

If you want a relaxing experience, far enough from the city bustle and close enough to walk to the center. If excellent staff and top notch service are of interest to you, then you have found the right place in the hotel Mulino di Firenze. A converted water mill, sitting on the western side of a weir across the Arno, comfort is assured to the traveler through hospitable staff and classic furnishings. The food is wonderful and healthy, whether dining or breakfasting, with a very personal service from all of the staff. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay here, with the knowledge we would be returning again. From the free shuttle service to and from the center, to the helpful and caring staff, Mulino is the perfect companion to the cultural explosion, that is florence.
