This hotel is in a building, which occupies the 3 and the 5.
On the fifth floor is the reception and the part of the room. That plant is completely renovated, with lots of lighting and painted a pristine white. When we did check in told us that our room was on the third floor and gave us some keys with a plastic Keychain with commissioning pen room number.
Once in the room I discovered that it was very small and dark, very 1980s. Had a small balcony that gave to a patio of lights, very dirty, with two compressors of air conditioning to occupy it by full.
The bath according to the room, with a tiny sink. Television, the size of an iPad, did not work and only available plugs were, one each in the bathroom and under the bed, inaccessible.
Cleaning shone by their absence, and I say this more than anything because I had to crawl under the bed to load the camera.
Sincerely, we stayed because we were doing a tour of Italy and did stop day and a half, and we didn't want to lose him looking for another hotel.
The fifth floor have no doubt have 3 stars, but the third does not reach the hostel category, in fact here in Spain that is category of pension. In a previous comment address claimed that the category the Government of the city of Florence had granted it.
As already say I that wasn't by that plant.
Moreover, the fifth floor only has access from the elevator through a door from which you have to open. The third is free access by the entire building and may suffer theft without any control.
In another view of a citizen of Romania the direction replies you that "is it that you complained of the room", "that she had paid 25-30€". As well, we pay €220 + taxes aside, for two nights during the week (Wednesday and Thursday) in May. Is it to complain or not?
I have visited 15 countries and what has happened to me in this hotel with the theme of categoria-calidad, I only happened in the Czech Republic 17 years ago, and was twice the size of this hotel.
The explanation of the note that has this hotel is that the majority of those who voted have stayed at the 5th floor, but the note would not reach 4, safe.
The photos that appeared in my reservation does not correspond with the room in which I host, and put it in all caps because another opinion in the direction of the hotel, with much vehemence, denied this fact.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, more than anything else to because you risk that you touch the third floor.
