We like our stay, Edi was extremely friendly, sweet and kind. However management was no friendly or helpful. Especially the older grumpy gentleman, part owner of the hotel. Very slow elevator.

Let's start first with the human factor: really kind, helpful, prepared and welcoming staff. The hotel is located in a perfect area, ideal for getting to all the sights on foot (a 3-minute walk from S. M. N. Station). Very nice and clean rooms with air conditioner always active in summer. Excellent service and great breakfast buffet. Over-recommended!

Like all hotels in Florence, it is in an optimal position from which to set off on foot to visit the most famous points of interest: Uffizi, Santa Croce, Baptistry, Santa Maria del Fiore, Santa Maria Novella, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti, all within 20/30.
The interiors of the hotel are pleasant, rooms tidy and also complete with air conditioning.
Quiet and polite welcome, I recommend this hotel for both families and couples/singles.
Breakfast included in the room reservation and is buffet: good, full of different dishes (sweet and salty) and exhaustive to start the day at its best!

The room was so freaking small. There wasn't any room to even keep the luggage. Moreover, the beds were super squeaky. Horrible!

Great place and in great location. It's authentic old place to stay. All touristic place are at walkable distance. Parking is the only issue. Stay includes breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was simple but clean and comfortable; the bathroom was a little small but ok. Breakfast average, with both sweet and salty food. The staff was nice and welcoming. The best thing is certainly the location: 5 minutes by walk from the train station e 5-10 minutes from Santa Maria Del Fiore. We will come back.

Hotel really centrally located. You can reach the city center in few minutes. A few steps from the railway station of Santa Maria Novella, especially for those who, like us, has limited time to visit Florence. Very clean, cosy and decorated in the florentine style. Mr. Roberto and all the staff, very kind and available to provide some tips for the stay and why not, even to chat. Highly recommended!

Kindness and hospitality in the heart of Florence.
The hotel is located near the Church of Santa Maria Novella and has various rooms. Ours was big enough and clean. The only drawback, aerator fan noise when you turn on the light.
Breakfast was fairly good.

Stayed in the triple room for 3 nights. Hotel is well located been close to the train station and the main attractions. Hotel staff were really helpful and were more than happy to give local advise for travellers. The room was very clean and tidy, beds were comfy except for the third single bed which was just a temporary folding bed. Bathroom was small but functional, shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. For those who are taking large suitcases, the first flight of stairs that lead up to the main reception has no elevator. But from reception upwards there is. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

We were a few days in Flrorencia this summer and we loved the Hotel Nizza. First, getting off the train, in five minutes is one already at the reception. The treatment of those who lead the hotel — are a family that makes it, and already have 100 years of experience — is splendid. Our comfortable room, clean and good breakfast. Really, glad at the Hotel: Florence is best if one stays at this hotel. We highly recommend it.

Small hotel, a stone's throw from the Duomo, the Centre, very cozy. This is a two star hotel placed on several floors without lift, with as much of the old and a touch of kitsch that gives a bit of sympathy.
