The location of the residence allows walking access to many museums, sites and places. The discovery of Florence was extremely pleasant and without any constraint.

Very spacious and big rooms, but you are not allowed to put 4 people in a room (might be a city law). Make sure you read their website about the number of occupants because they are strict about it. We had to take a second room because it was late and could not find another hotel. Our room had a kitchen and large dining area.

Nice, spacious apartment style rooms with kitchenette and seating area. However, there was a mix up where we thought our family of four would all be able to stay in one room. When we got to the hotel, they told us our reservation was only for two people and because it was pouring outside and trying to book anywhere else on such short notice would have been difficult, we have in and paid for another room. Except the two rooms were two floors apart, which caused some difficulty. So make sure to check that your reservation is correct. This occupancy rule seems to be common in Florence, maybe as well in other parts of Europe.

Fantastic, clean, spacious hotel, great location and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I would readily recommend Residence Hilda to all my friends, family and colleagues visiting Florence. You can't go wrong choosing this hotel for your stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Resident Hilda, the staff were so welcoming and helpful in every way. The apartment was delightful and in a perfect location close to all the tourist attractions we wanted to see. We recommend the apartments very highly.

We stayed here April 2016, lovely hotel and perfect for our family which was 2 adults and 1 toddler. Room was spotless and a very generous size. Location is perfect.

Jewel at the heart of Florence. Great/superb location. Wonderful rooms, comfortable, cozy with everything you need to cook a late dinner or early breakfast. Literally steps from the dome and within walking distance to museums, restaurants, shopping, churches, etc.

This is an amazing find in the heart of Florence! Incredible staff — thank you Marzanna! Turn left and you're at the Academia and Duomo within minutes. Turn right and explore residential neighborhoods. Walk everywhere. Full kitchen in large apartment, convenient grocery and laundromat across the street. It didn't feel touristy and was quiet to sleep at night. I didn't travel solo, but if I had, I would be comfortable staying here. Both the property and neighborhood felt very safe. Absolutely perfect!

The perfect place to stay at in Florence. Ideal location, friendly and helpful staff at the reception (Marina, thank you! ). The apartment is huge, with excellent decoration and a very comfortable bed. Wifi was excellent. It is our first choice when visiting Florence.

The suites are beautiful very spacious and modern we had two suites and truly enjoyed the experience. Gabriel was wonderful he stored our bags until our rooms where ready then brought them up without our prompting, he also had great restaurant recommendations, so kind! It's in a great location would highly recommend!

The actual room is better than what I expected from websites. It's a simple but well designed apartment instead of a hotel room. Clean and tidy. The location is ideal for me, 3 mins straight walk to the Duomo, 8-10mins walk to the central market. Good choice if you like to stay a bit away from crowd. Helpful and polite staffs, housekeeping quality is good. … We stayed here for 4 nights and we were glad to have this spacious apartment, especially after loads of sightseeing and shopping everyday. Will consider RH for our next visit of Florence.

Suite 32 was clean and quiet, spacious apartment with everything needed for a great stay. The only thing I would have liked was a shaving mirror and shower gel — not plain soap. Location was perfect for sightseeing. A big thank you for cakes on my birthday, a nice thoughtful touch. The cleaners did a great job, and after wearing the slip on slippers for 5 days the soles were not dirty at all, and being white says a lot for the great job the cleaners did in keeping the floors perfectly clean. Thank you.

We got here and they didn't have our room put us in an apartment on the other side of town. We had booked a luxury suite with them. This customer service is terrible.

Our first trip to Italy and we are so happy to have stayed at the Hilda. Beautiful neighborhood, very convenient, and the staff were exceptional in every way. One of the nicer hotels I've ever stayed in. Highly recommended.

We stayed one night in this apartment and had a great time, fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom with light even in the shower, room with TV and comfortable bed.

Residence, you clean the room every morning, make food yourself, space in the room there is a really nice residence!

We spent five delightful days at the Hilda residence.
First, I would like to underline the extreme kindness, availability and efficiency of the staff (reception + maintenance).
Then the comfort of our room (30) : Very spacious, tastefully decorated (a real orchid in our room), very functional (essential products available in the kitchen).
We felt like at home, with, in addition, the exceptional quality of the hotel service offered.
What more to ask: nothing! Everything was perfect!
So obviously all this has a price… :)
If we return to Florence, and our means still permit us, we will definitely return to the Hilda residence!

Our apartment was amazing. The staff was very nice. This evening at 800pm we did receive a call from reception saying guests were complaining that we were talking too loud. My friend was on Skype with her grandchildren and was having a lovely fun conversation. This is not the fault of the hotel staff but do keep your voices down in the evening.

Look no further and book here. Lovely spacious suites. Great location. Helpful and friendly staff. We loved it.

I'm not sure we could have had a better experience. From booking the room to he king out everything was perfect! The staff is so friendly and accommodating — there are so few places in this world where you get the kind of service they provide. The location was great, price amazing, and the room was gorgeous. On any future visit to Florence we will surely start with Residence Hilda!

Great location between the Duomo and Piazza Annunziata. Very clean and pleasing modern decor. Gisella and Marzanna helped us with restaurant reservations and all information needed. They were also very sweet!

This is an apartment style hotel. Our room (really a suite) was very large even by American standards. Amazing location steps from the Duomo. The facility is super clean, immaculate and everything seems brand new. The staff is extremely helpful. A+++++! I wish I could give it six stars.

We stayed 3 nights in March 2016. If all you need is a clean, well appointed room that is very central then you will not be disappointed. The room was spacious and has a small kitchen area with fridge so if you want to make a drink, relax with a glass of wine (or even do simple cooking) you can. The concierge service was really helpful and friendly If want want lots of hotel facilities such as a bar, restaurant etc then this is not for you. But why, when you just step out of the front door to find every type of eating and drinking within 5 minutes or less?

I can't say enough in praise of this wonderful and wonderfully located hotel/residence. It's not an ordinary hotel with full services. Rather it's an extremely attractive, clean and comfortable lodging with all the amenities one would need in any hotel, but in addition there is a small kitchen which we found very useful and suited our needs perfectly. We had all our breakfasts in our room and on a few occasions bought food from local stores and had pastas, salads, bread and wine for several dinners. Sometimes after a long day out, it was good to come "home", relax and have a light meal. The staff was another attraction since everyone was exceedingly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and sought to accommodate any need we had. They were a charming group of people. If we return to Florence, the Residence Hilda would be the hotel we'd choose.

A real surprise the solution to stay at residence Hilda. Peaceful location in the Centre of Florence, but at the same time just out of the chaos that often characterizes Florence. A small suite with all the comforts, and extremely helpful staff. An experience to be repeated for those who want to enjoy the city on foot.

Если не хотите ничего готовить, рядом много мест, где вкусно посидеть. Персонал отзывчивый и дружелюбный, дают отличные и полезные советы, на рецепшене не забудьте очень толковую карту города. Perfectly! Very good location, all sights within walking distance. The large number (50kv. M), convenient, quiet, mattress and pillows, affordable, kitchen is all that is necessary, every day you clean, purely. In just 5 minutes from the hotel a supermarket Konad, it is very convenient. If you don't want anything you prepare, and close by there are many places where tasty to sit. The staff is compassionate and friendly, give excellent advice, and useful, on a receipt, they don't forget the map is very prudent of the city.

A few steps from the duomo.

The residence is centrally located just a few steps from the Duomo (about 200 m). Great first impression the reception: kindness, smiles and high availability to provide information and advice on places; cleaning and light in addition to care both in the common areas and in suites: bright, clean, equipped with all comforts. The kitchen we pretty much used, but there is everything you could possibly need (Kettle, microwave, Toaster, pots, plates, glasses, etc.

Beautiful experience I felt treated like a real Queen. The location is great, walking distance from the Centre and the treatment received was beyond reproach. Congratulations.

The best place to stay at in Florence. Ive been to the city many times and stayed in different areas; Residence Hilda has something special to offer. The place is super comfortable, spacious, great service, central location, very modern, and clean. Residence Hilda is steps away from Duomo and Gallery Academia — home to David. So many good things to say! I really had a wonderful time staying here and will be sure to return!

We were warmly received by a young man who had come especially to the Residence to hand us the keys to the apartment and take care of the valet parking service for our car. The apartment was much too big and beautiful for what we needed, but it was still cheaper than any three, four and five star hotels I've been looking for in Florence. The location was amazing, on a street overlooking the Duomo on one end and a huge Piazza (where they showed free movies every night) on the other. We were close (walking distance) to all museums, bridges, monuments, piazzas and restaurants. The apartment was amazingly neat and clean, from the kitchenette to the bathroom, everything was sparkling. We loved the details they added: brand name coffee maker, fancy looking toaster, kitchenware, bathrobes and slippers and we even found the water bottle we had asked them to purchase for us in the fridge (you could create a whole list of groceries and they would make sure you would get it). We loved the free flowing communication with the Residence owner during the reservation process, prior to our arrival, and even during our stay. They really tried to make our stay as agreeable as possible. Since we were there in the month of July and the temperatures were soaring, we were lucky to be able to stop by the apartment in the early afternoon, take a shower, refresh, and rest. I highly recommend Residence Hilda as part of your Florence experience. N&J.

We found Residence Hilda on Hotel Tonight but were so happy with it that we extended our stay to a total of 3 nights. Stayed in Room which was more like an apartment. Impeccably clean, beautifully and simply appointed, the reception / concierge was extremely helpful in booking tours and taxi rides, and the location (a few blocks from Il Duomo and a ten minute walk from the San Lorenzo Leather Market and Mercato Centrale) is ideal. Will stay at Residence Hilda again on our next visit to Florence!

Our family loved staying at the Residence Hilda. The location was perfect, the area quite, the apartments were fabulous and clean with all the modern upgrades, and being in Florence is just a wonderful experience. We will come back next time were are in the area. I was in Florence 14 years ago, and the city has really come a long way. My girls, 16 and 11, just loved it.

A highly recommended choice for travellers with the intention to stay for a week or more. Such convenience to all scenic attractions! When the heavy dairy diet in Florence bogs you down, you can find relief from the fresh market with irresistable ingredients that puts the "kitchenette" to good task! An excellent stay cannot be possible without the team of staff that is ever so accommodating, courteous and resourceful. As a seasoned traveller, Hilda enters my top 10 in choice around the world of residential facilties with a personal touch.
