Beautiful location, breathtaking view with sea view. Ample space to sit, the restaurant offers an aperitif section and the dinner or lunch room. The menu is excellent, a lot of choice of dishes, some of which are really special.
The portions are medium, but very well cared for in appearance and the taste is great. The value for money is very good you eat well and you spend an honest amount. Recommend coming back.

I was at lunch at the restaurant il Romito Livorno with my daughter, I have to say that everything was excellent from the first "spaghetti allo scoglio", the second mixed fried fruit and dessert excellent and the owner is a brilliant person nice in the hand and an excellent restaurant with all the attention paid to the distances and hygiene very good in all the more with a beautiful view on the sea, and I recommend it to everyone because you will be certainly satisfied and with the desire to return as soon as possible recommended by Bonacchi Grace.

We've been missing for some time, so tonight we decided to go back to the Romito.
The place is always lovely, with the beginning of the beautiful season we were able to dine on the terrace and enjoy the view of the Livorno coastline.
The starter of the house presents some tasty novelties, like the tuna tartare.
I recommend the Maremma ravioli to the gravy of orata.
The place is not really cheap, but it is totally proportionate to the quality of the food and the beauty of the location.

Delicious food… the location (environment) in the summer with a breathtaking view… good service and friendly … price medium-high, but "all in all" there is! In short … I've eaten much worse in the places where I spent a little less.

Pranzo per cerimonia, location fantastica, a picco sul mare, grande spazio all'aperto all'ombra. Cibo buono, non posso esprimermi più di tanto in quanto menù non scelto da me.

The food was dry and unappealing and the staff was simply horrible. Not to mention the hygiene of the place.

The reception of the room is very good, both by the staff, who was very polite and hospitable, both regarding the place which is situated on a magnificent sea view.
The availability was good given the size of the room which offers many tables inside.
The hygiene of the room is exceptional as well as the cleanliness of the tables that are very cared for.
The quality of the service was also good thanks to the waiting time between the order and the arrival of the dish which was exceptional since they were respected the right times to allow you to fully enjoy the dinner without too much waiting or too much pressure.
The quality of the dish is really high given the possibility of ordering dishes served with fresh fish and excellent quality. Even the care of the dish is well done.
To conclude, the quality/price of this place is really exceptional.

I was having dinner with my girlfriend at this restaurant and overall it was a nice evening. There was bad weather and we couldn't enjoy the beautiful view that you can usually see from this restaurant overlooking the sea. Fast service and friendly staff, although some too much jokes could be avoided (nothing offensive, just a little heavy at times). Spaghetti with rock made to the rule of art, very nice also the impiattamento of sweets. We also tasted a seafood pizza that was good, but for an inexplicable reason, unlike the shellfish found in spaghetti, those on the pizza seemed to have a different quality. Account in the norm, justified also by the view and, of course, by the fact that one eats, predominantly, fish. Definitely going back in the summer to enjoy the view on the large terrace overlooking the sea.

Waiting for the Sweet do 5 stars already on trust, really special and spectacular appetizer, the salmon cheesecake has conquered me. Finally, I also ate the Leghorn Cacciucco… I would have ordered a second portion. Staff friendly, knowledgeable and friendly which helps to spend an even better evening. Top, now under the famous sweet Messi!

This is a place I always went to with my family at least once a year, the building itself is nothing special, but the view is breathtaking, the staff is friendly and the food is always good.

Suitable Place for Leghorn. Bad Experience. Dilapidated Place. Bad Service. Frozen Food. Kitchen to be reported at least to NAS. Nice Panorama but no merit of the restaurant. Prices from Starry Restaurant, but we're talking about a slum. In A nutshell nn I recommend even to my worst enemy unless NN is a leghorn. I Close: The place, in my opinion, must be closed immediately.

Outdated, dirty and very noisy and overflowing. Not suitable for relaxation. Pictures, I expected much more from this hotel. €63 per night without breakfast. We also had to pay more than the booking confirmation.

I found exactly what I was looking for a long time!
I was Looking for a hotel that reminded me of my holidays in Italy by Bimba in the years 70. With those simple, basic rooms, ceramic floors, that clean smell, and the window overlooking the sea. The rooms at Romito remained the same, identical to the years 70. I appreciated that besides the air conditioning there are also mosquito nets for those who prefer to keep the window open.
As far as the restaurant is concerned, it's a blast. They Have an immense terrace overlooking the sea, and from each table the location is perfect. The Service is taken care of, but the real surprise are The dishes. Absolutely excellent Fish starters first or second. But In addition to quality, it must be rewarded inventive in combinations that is simply spectacular. As for sweets, they are pure poetry!
Thanks to the freshness of the products and the imagination in the dishes, it is the best seafood restaurant I have tried.
It Is a place where you return on purpose even doing more than 2 hours of road! Until next time!

Fantastic location, prices were reasonable, no premium for the views over the sea. Food was better than average but it's the view that brings you here.

The location is good and it has an excellent view on the sea. The service is normal but the organization is somewhat poor: the dishes are brought to the table in a strange order, and if you want a pizza While in the restaurant, you have to wait. In my opinion, is here on a very busy road for truck drivers as a place to stay but not vacation to make.

The guru of cacciucco, try it! Terrace with spectacular view. A note a little bit negative is that the environment would be a bit to renovate, but there you can scrub the kitchen and view trumps everything.

Negative: The whole restaurant has totally in the years, what can be seen even from the outside. The toilets should be rehabilitated times.
First of all, we ordered bruschetta — a disaster. We ate only the tomatoes and onions and left the bread. It tasted as if it were three days old.
My friend ordered up a pizza (pizza vegetarian with extra salami on top), I a tuna salad. The waiter delivered the feeling he has understood us. He didn't guess!
He arrived with two pizzas. A vegetarian, the salami was missing. And he brought me a pizza with clams. Then we have shown again him on a map what we want. But we said then that we like to renounce on the salad and us together share the vegetarian pizza. I really had no desire.
The first time that the positive reviews so gettäuscht have me! NEVER AGAIN.

We ate the cacciucco, outstanding! The fish was so fresh. Sore point my dish and my wife weren't cleaned, had an oily film. For the rest recommended.

Great restaurant in a great location suspended between sky and sea in front of Castel Sonnino Etruscan coast. Great owners and staff with prices broadly commensurate with the quality and available on the website of the restaurant so you can always know ahead of time where this is going.

We stayed at Hotel "il Romito" with Bad and Breakfast one night, the place where it is located is very beautiful with its panoramic position. Just got a very friendly young lady at the front desk greeted us, once we got into our room, we weren't very impressed the furniture is dated and lack of attention to detail. In the shower, the water wasn't very hot (we stayed the 1-2 November and was not the time to take a cold shower). The note most doleful breakfast service takes place in the restaurant of the hotel. When we walked into the room waiter greeted us so much annoyed. In the room there was no buffet, just some prepackaged croissants and some Rusk on the table with its jams and nutelle (2-3). Then the waiter brought some fresh croissants and left without asking us if we wanted coffee or more. After eating the pastries, dry, the waiter didn't show up with dei cappuccini (I didn't ask). My girlfriend asked if she could have a cup of tea instead of the hood and received a response always do little courteous. I think it was the worst service I've ever seen.

Never had a big kitchen with big pots but in context for acceptable price, and a big terrace with view of the coast makes it an honor, that in years past, but today only the terrace he has left. A weekend visitors to the Romito, we start from the location: beautiful scenery, which has fascinated and ravished in deciding the place; small rooms, simply furnished but clean and cozy. Dinner consumed at the restaurant, not cheap but excellent: starters and second fresh & tasty, fast and efficient service. We were fine.

We ate a yummy mixed seafood appetizer with fresh fish and cooked by Michelin, we continued with phenomenal and abundant also in tasting portion cacciucco. My fiance took the best fried fish I have ever tasted. Price more than OK! good.
