My Son, Daughter and myself stayed at Villa al Poggio in September 2017 and we really had a good expireance. The place is easy to reach especially if you reach Sicily by car from Malta.
This place is well kept and welcoming no. The pool is beautiful and the veranda around the pool stocked with comfortable chaises longues. It's convenient to both Marina di Ragusa and Ragusa by car. The surrounding countryside is rustic and beautiful, with characteristic dry masonry stone walls dividing fields, some with cows to see. Nearby there are several great family-friendly restaurants. The apartments are stocked with dishware, flatware, and basic cookware. Supermarkets are close by, too. It's convenient to cook at home for those who sometimes prefer to eat early rather than join the beach nightlife, since the custom here is to go to dinner around 10 pm or later. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Also, the pool is beautifully lit up at night. We were pleased with the place and would consider returning another time.

We were guests in the big apartment, Lavender. We were two families and the two-day stay was perfect. The house is spacious, comfortable, complete with everything. The helpful and kind host, attentive to the comfort of the guests. We arrived very late and waited for us without blinking, provided us home to things that not all owners think: toilet paper, napkins, welcome sweets, water and juices in the fridge, plastic cups, garbage bags, detergents for the body and home.
The villa has pool sharing with guests of the other accommodations, but it was not a problem for us. The pool is cleaned by an early morning attendant, so when you wake up it's ready to use. There is also the appropriate angle where you can connect your phone to listen to your favorite music. The pool is also suitable for children, besides it is saltwater pool, much better than chlorine. We felt like at home, it was a nice experience that we plan to redo, maybe in larger group, renting the whole villa.
I recommend it to those who have a mental need to unplug even for a few days because the area is quiet and quiet. The lack of the sea (which is a few kilometers away) we did not hear.
