A place as refined and discreet as few in Sicily. Outside the destinations of receptions and mass tourism, Casa la Carrubbazza is a gem to discover just a short walk from Catania.
We celebrated my daughter's baptism here with family and friends reserving the restaurant area. The kindness and availability of the owners is unimpeachable. All taken care of in detail, Saverio, the owner treated us with a simple and spontaneous approach typical of those who possess an authentic mood kindness.

Surprise from my husband for my birthday a success… the more that house, I would call it farmhouse beautiful relax among the green, fresh air and silence … the owner is a very kind person and made us feel as if we were at home our kindness and courtesy are part of the staff … and the breakfast is good the room is furnished with style, clean. Thanks a lot the hospitality.

I took part yesterday in an event. I was mesmerized, also in the care in its interiors, furnished with style, and welcoming and are considered to be the rainy day. Excellent catering.

Our wedding guests stayed there for 3-5 nights and everything was perfect. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, the place is like a hidden paradise, where you can escape from stressing daily life. The breakfast is delicious and can be served in the garden. The green gardens and the panoramic view from the terrace are admirable. The building is based on old sicilian architecture which makes it very special. Special thanks to the managers and staff for their kindness, flexibity and exceptional customer focus, which made our wedding guests and us fully satisfied. We will return for sure.

Wonderful… you cross the gate you realize you're in a small paradise. I would spend time to stroll in the beautiful gardens and watch the beautiful terrace and its view over the gulf of Catania. The old farmhouse has been renovated without sicily is of the essence. A dip in the purity of the past, with all the conveniences and comforts of the present. Good!
