Excellent structure, very convenient to reach the sea but also the center of Orosei. Very nice apartments and very kind staff! Highly recommended!

We spent a wonderful weekend in this structure, great location, perfect apartment and with all the comforts, but above all we met Irene and Mattias, two nice, kind, helpful and really special people! Thank you for everything, we will be back as soon as possible.

Amazing place for every kind of adventure or relaxation! I stayed there for more than a month, while doing online studies at the same time. From the residence itself you get the most amazing views including nearby mountains panoramas also you'll see the best sunsets in your life here! The rooms are good looking and fully equipped with all kinds of necessary appliances. The localization allows you to fully relax in your apartment or a pool, since the residence is not in the middle of the city (forget about noise or any disturbance), however going to the historical center as well as to the beach is never more than 20 min calm walk. I was able to rent a bike from HRR and it made moving around the city even easier, also the bikes let you go on farther trips e. G. To Su Barone or Cala Liberotto. It is even possible to go on a kayak trip through the nearby river or the sea.

Apartments are nice and clean. Walking distance to town, close to nice restaurants and not far from the beach. Matthias was very friendly and helpful whenever we needed something or had questions. Would recomment this place if you want a nice place to stay in Orosei.

This is a wonderfully quiet and beautiful place to stay. It's kind of off the beaten path, but also very accessible. Very friendly staff, immaculate, updated apartments. So many beaches close by.

We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Residence Rifugio. This is a family run business and you can tell that the owners really care. The apartments are spotless and we had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay.
We had a private patio and garden area with bar-b-q, sun beds and dining table.
The beds were really comfortable and the location was tranquil yet only a few minutes walk to a really good supermarket and restaurants. The beach which is really very beautiful, is a 15 minute walk from the residence. Orosei is a perfect base to explore the Northern region or Orosei and we will definitely be back.

I went back to this beautiful country so many times for my holidays, and I already know the refuge as one of the best in this area, but this time I spent absolutely the three best weeks, just finished. At the beautiful weather and the closeness of all the comforts (bars, restaurants, supermarkets), reachable quietly even by those who, like me, do not guide, have added comfort of a clean apartment, furnished with good taste, cozy. I could have the beach (almost) all to myself, even this walking distance with a pedestrian path. Definitely to Redo!

After a warm welcome, we felt comfortable and relaxed in this beautiful house. At night it is very quiet. The beaches in the area are highly recommended.

This year we were here for the second time and together with our 4 girls totally enthusiastic about Roman and the apartment Palma! Our girls especially love the pool, which is a great addition to the many great beaches in the surrounding area! The team is totally nice and accommodating. This lovely Residence on the beautifull island of Sardinia near the amazing sandy estcoast is really a wonderfull place for vacation and rest. But, if you need to work via internet they do have a well functioning Wi-Fi connection for which I was very grateful. The appartment I stayed in is perfect for families and groups but also for single people. It is well functioning and has everything needed for every day life. Good and clean bathrooms and kitchen. The place is clean. I could use it also for a meeting with for a group of 25 people which was great. The super-market is close and also the little lovely city center. There is a lovely swimming pool with good chairs, even though I did not enter the water as it was too cool for me. Amazing there is even a finish sauna. Which I as a women from Finland did not use though The owners are warmhearted, helpfull people. They speak several languages german, english, italan. Amazing apartment hotel in the heart of Orosei — great location, excellent apartments, and a staff which will make you feel at home!

We spent 2 weeks of vacation in Sardegna and had a wonderful time at the Holiday Residence Rifugio. This family hotel offered all we needed to experience a fantastic and long to remember holiday. The Winkler family and Elia were very helpful with tips and directions and available if we had any need. We lived in the Azzurra Appartment which was peaceful, well equipped and ideal for a family of 5. Our kids loved the pool! The location is close to beautiful beaches, restaurants and stores. It is a hotspot for either exploring the coastline towards the north/south with its plenty of attractions and stunning natural beauty. The central location of the HRR makes it easy to visit places also inland — or even on the west coast — as we did once a daytrip to Alghero. The nearby Monte Tuttavista offers a spectacular view and is a must for all sunrise and sunset lovers. On our first visit to Sardegna, we were truly thankful to enjoy the great and refreshing atmosphere this house offers.

We had such a great holiday, we loved the apartment and the place. We had a really good time, the apartment was totally beautiful and you can snorkel many different things companies (the beach/and there are very beautiful beaches, boat tours, several really good hikes, culture/Nuraghi). Very pleasant was also, that in the reception German, English and Italian is spoken. Very friendly, courteous people. We would always come back.

We had a wonderful time in Orosei and in the HRR. The HRR is in Orosei, almost everything within walking distance, incl. Delicious Restaurants/pizzerias and a Gelateria. The beaches are easily accessible by bike or by car. But the best is to book a Massage by Alessia, a blessing and a great feeling of relaxation.

Recommended to all families with Children! Location quiet and secure, close to the sea and the historic centre… Ample parking. The apartments are bright and spacious. The friendly and professional staff!.

We were as a family (parents, daughter, son-in-law and grandson daughter-19 months old) 12 days in the APARTMENT Oliveto. It is very nice holidays in a great environment. Although the absolute high-season that were not on the beaches many people. The beaches were very clean and versatile. In the APARTMENT we have felt ourselves very well. It was all very clean. Fam. Winkler has provided for our granddaughter, sand toys, etc. As well As sun umbrellas and a blanket for the beach (we arrived by plane). They were all questions and problems to help (we needed unfortunately, the doctor and the hospital) and have been very caring to us. Thank you! The only thing we lacked was a kettle and a coffee machine. We will gladly come again and can recommend the APARTMENT only!

In the Holiday Residence Rifugio I found myself very well: it is the ideal place to spend your holidays in Sardinia. ’ Just a few steps from a beautiful sandy beach (there is also a bike path) and you can rent boats to explore the beautiful coves accessible only by sea, also from Orosei you can easily reach the most beautiful places of the sardinian hinterland (in which, among other things, he eats really well! ). I stayed in the apartment ALOE (which is located on the second floor of the house — without lift / elevator) : the decor is modern with options and accessories (from the electric kettle, TV, air conditioner to the line wiifii), has a wood-burning stove, a comfortable sofa-bed and the natural light that illuminates the area the day from morning to sunset — through-the-door-the window that opens on the beautiful terrace. The bedroom is large and the living room (room with kitchen) is spacious, great for cold days. I really like the terraces with a view, and this is large enough for at least two sun-take-the sun and eat comfortably even in the 4 (there is also a barbecue). The bathroom is a bit small but functional, with the lack of the bidet and has a shower large. The cleaning and the respect of the tranquility are guaranteed by the operators of the swiss.

Stay with my family at Holiday Residence lodge was very enjoyable! I remember three years ago when we were guests for 15 days. This year we returned by choosing the same apartment on "Myrtle" and spent unforgettable days. We enjoyed a really relaxing, courtesy of the team at the Residence, hospitality, cleanliness and all comforts. We enjoyed the quiet and nature of the landscape with its mountains and the sea with its beautiful beaches, all these ingredients make us hope to be back again next year!

We probably felt with our 4 girls in residence refuge all around! We had a lot of space in our app. And it is very tastefully decorated. The pool is class as well as the many beautiful beaches nearby! Enjoyed very much we have also a massage for Alessia to extra coming into the House. We can recommend this beautiful accommodation all round!

We were the first time the Rifugio of residence and have been warmly received. The apartment was spacious and furnished with love. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The beach and the city are easy to reach on foot. The supermarket is 3 min away a piedi. The Rifugio is situated in a beautiful garden. The pool is a good size. All in all successful holiday. To recommend 100%. We come back.

We absolutely loved staying at the Holiday Residence Rifugio in Orosei! The people were wonderful, the rooms were bright and clean and well equipped with all we needed and the location was perfect! I haven't slept so well in ages so it's a great place for a holiday!

The Holiday Residence lodge I had a great time: is the ideal place to spend their holidays in Sardinia. It is a short walk from a beautiful sandy beach (there is also a cycle path) and you can rent boats to visit the beautiful coves accessible only by sea, also from Orosei you can easily reach the most beautiful places in the inland of Sardinia (where incidentally we eat very well! ). I stayed in apartment ALOE (located on the third floor of the House — without elevator) : the furniture is modern with options and accessories (electric kettle, TV, conditioner staffs are line), has a wood-burning stove and natural light that illuminates the area daily from morning till dusk — through the patio door that opens onto the beautiful terrace. I really like the terraces with a view, and this is just wide enough for at least two beds-sunbathing and eating in 4 (there is also a barbecue). The bathroom is a bit small but functional: noisy but has a large shower. Cleanliness and tranquility are guaranteed by the managers. The outdoor pool is very well maintained and organized (toilets and showers). Tips: If you find yourself in Orosei, immerse yourself in the role of Indiana Jones and pay a visit to the many Nurache of the area, especially the Osalla … you won't regret it!

It was a nice stay. The place is very cozy, clean and pleasant; located between the village and the sea the sea, at the same time surrounded by a beautiful countryside and with views of the mountains. In fact, in just a few minutes walk you are on the beach or in the center of the country, therefore it is ideal also for those who enjoy walking or jogging. The amenities are many, including a lovely swimming pool.
Worth mentioning is the personal attention towards guests from the team of the hotel: their kindness and availability, are characteristics that give a unique touch.
I spent a few weeks in the winter since I was in the area for business reasons, and I lived in the apartment ' Smeralda ' where I really enjoyed: a nice terrace with couch, bathtub, air conditioning, TV and Wi-Fi. Great for a couple or three people.
For those looking for a quiet and funny at the same time to spend their holidays, this is a must try!

Orosei is part of a beautiful area with many beautiful beaches nearby and possibility to rent a boat without a guide to visit them and bathe.

For the second time this year the Holiday Residence Rifugio I was, and it was again wonderfully relaxing. The new apartments of the pool are nicely decorated and clean, wonderfully refreshing; and the staff is so helpful, friendly and the dearest, that I have ever met.

Highly recommended. In the spring, you can enjoy the tranquility and loveliness of the landscape which spreads out directly from the window of the Oliveto before one. The fireplace, the rooms are also heated, spread a cosy atmosphere. The fresh salad (from friendly farmers) in the refrigerator was a special pleasure for us upon arrival! We are very appreciated the helpfulness of the owners of the Holiday residence. Because the climate was still quite cool, we have pleased just at the sight of the pool.

Over the past 8 years I have stayed several times at Holiday Residence hideaway in holiday or business trips. The atmosphere is pleasant, relaxed and welcoming. The apartments are spacious, well furnished and decorated. The managers are supportive, helpful, polite and professional in contact with guests. The Residence is situated a short walk from the village centre and from the beach (both easily reachable on foot).
Also, the beaches around Orosei are, in my opinion, among the most beautiful of Sardinia and the Mediterranean. I highly recommend the Holiday Residence Retreat for those who wish to spend a pleasant moment of relaxation or vacation.

My friend and I just returned from Sardinia on Sunday evening. We had an excellent week in Orosei. The Holiday Residence Rifugio has been a great experience. The HFR is located close to beautiful beaches and local grocery stores. It is only about 5 minutes walk to the city centre of Orosei is a pretty town with cute shops, large ice and food. The Holiday Residence Rifugio are several pizzerias and cafeterias. The Rifugio holiday team were very friendly and very hospitable. Every mind and spoke other languages that they could speak English, German and of course Italian. Your service was fast and if help or advice needed, always strongly passed to it. We went before the season began and the prices were unbelievable cheap and affordable for what we get. We had a great time and will definitely be back there and stay the HFR! Thank you very much.

I stayed at the Holiday Residence retreat for a week. The apartment that I hosted (blue) is spacious and well cared for, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and well organised. It is the ideal place to spend a vacation, even among friends, in a homely and relaxed.
The location is great: the wonderful sea of the Gulf of Orosei is a pleasant walk, just a few hundred metres walk there are supermarkets, pubs and restaurants, and in the evening you can take a walk in the picturesque Centre of Orosei.
In short, find the best layout for those who want to enjoy the beautiful sea of Sardinia.

It is not easy to find a comfortable and cozy for a large family like ours. We traveled to 10, with several children, and Holiday Residence Lodge we found an apartment able to accommodate us all. In the residence there are various apartments, studios, apartments, houses. But for us a House spacious ground floor was ideal, with a garden area equipped for barbecue, a large kitchen with 2 hobs, and a large dining room.
The whole thing, just over one kilometer from a beautiful sea and a short walk to supermarket and the center of the village. In short, we found here to the refuge of Orosei the possibility of a family stay. The owners are friendly and helpful and the rooms very clean! I highly recommend it for groups with children and teens.

I had the chance to stay in Residences not only in summer but also during spring and autumn, and really did not expect to find a suitable environment to welcome tourists even in low season. The apartment where I stayed (the "olive grove") faces South-East, with a beautiful view over olive groves and mountains in the area. A large French window let the warmth of the Sun. The House is nicely furnished and equipped with all comforts, there's even a stone fireplace!
The location is also great, less than 2 kilometers from the Sea (and when it is hot you can walk in the bike lane-passable leading directly from the Marina of Orosei) and a short walk from the village. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
I mean, what could be better for a quiet holiday or to spend a relaxing time even out of season.

So, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel Refugio in Orosei. The room was very comfortable, light, airy and quiet, with a beautiful and relaxing views of the surrounding nature. We could walk to the picturesque town and found some nice restaurants nearby. We rented bicycles nearby and were able to the beautiful beach and beautiful parks, biking in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. With the kitchen, we were so at home and relaxed. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend this place and would like to return one day.

The Island of Sardinia is absolutely captivating and much like a paradise! The Refugio (the Refuge) apartments located in the historical, coastal city of Orosei, are ideal for anyone whether single, a couple or a family. These apartments are clean with a nice enclosed garden to easily accommodate children. The Winklers (the owners) are a wonderful family who are kind and do all that is necessary to make you feel welcome. The location is perfect as it is on the edge of the city and is just about one mile from the beach. The sea is beautiful and there are lots of beaches up and down the coastline where one can easily remain all day long to enjoy the sun and water. There is a supermarket within walking distance of the Refugio just a couple of blocks away. There are many nearby restaurants as well as nice shops to take advantage of. For a nice, relaxing vacation, I would highly recommend the Refugio in Orosei.

We go this summer for the third time here, what so much means that we feel very comfortable there. The house is in an attractive location just off the Via del mar. Various shops, Restaurants and Bars are in easy walking distance. The beaches are best reached by car, since it is not to be missed, the big Strandvielfalt of the Bay of Orosei to explore. We have in July 2011 with our two children two very nice weeks of school holidays spent. We were in the apartment of the Winkler family in Orosei stationed, we all, especially families, can highly recommend. Orosei is a starting point for various excursions into the Hinterland, in the North and the South, as well as to various beautiful beaches situated in an outstanding location. The beaches are with the underlying pine forests super. We each have over lunch, when it is directly on the beach is too hot, the Siesta in the pine forest spent (hammock is very helpful).
