A very nice place to be. Beautiful view, pool, garden… people are very friendly.

Hotel Don Diego and the surrounding area including the private beach was a fantastic place for an extraordinary vacation! The junior suite had a great panoramic view of Costa Dorata and was very clean. The Hotel breakfasts were amazing and the Front Desk and staff were all incredibly helpful and very friendly. This was first time in Sardinia and look forward to staying again at Hotel Don Diego.

We had a wonderful week at hotel San Diego. Very kind personnel. Extensive breakfast buffet. Two hints: beds are too hard, even with a top layer. For included dinner, prices should be lower for children.

A fabulous place, all the facilities you could want. Lovely service as only the Italians know how, nothing was too much trouble. Luca in particular went the extra kilometre and had no trouble remembering our names and requests. The boat hire on site was first class, a touch more expensive than in town but so much more convenient. It is not practical to walk into town but they run a shuttle and had a car brought to the hotel for us to hire.
Highly recommended. Go now!

Professional staff and good location.

Wonderful staff. Excellent views. Bit of a mystery as to the name of the place: Owner was present everyday, but was in full Zorro attire, cape and mask included. I found it to be unusual, but he was ever the gracious host. One staffer said his real name was "Guy Madison" which sent me reeling. Coincidence? I think not. I did point out that the whole masquerade was set up to fool the Spaniards, and I was told "oh, they are fooled alright! " Upon examination there were no horses around except at night when the Owner was never present.

Location location They say the English!
And That's right: an exclusive corner wonderfully beautiful and calm. The photos give only half an idea! Even a special microclimate helps! It's the classic place to break off even for a few days! You need nothing in an oasis of peace like this!
The accommodation is a bit dated as well as the standard room with a view on the Tavolara (but bed and bathroom super OK).
Poor room Connection.
Enlargement and relocation work Are underway. We Hope not to lose the charm of the Sardinian imprint!
The Staff was very helpful
Half Board: The breakfast is very varied especially dedicated to the North European clientele: there is only a hint of attention to the good products of the Sardinian territory (butter cheeses of more meats and better honey more tastes etc) as well as fruit really Good and ripe!
Extra Lunch: Absolutely standard also in the presentation: you would need more varied and tasty offer of Invoglianti miniportions!
Dinner: Menu with few local raids (except for John), standard ingredients, standard dishes. Buffet vegetables Tristanzuolo as the rest offer sweets and fruit.
But The five stars besides nature go to the manicured garden, flower plants and dream fragrances.
Five star also at the beach maintenance and umbrellas (perfect! ).
To return!

Quiet location in beautiful park. The pool is beautiful and also the small private beach. Our room was a bit dark, but you're just to sleep there. The restaurant and food is top.

Lovely location efficient staff and friendly general cleanliness as per overall image expectations for furnishings and miscellaneous: much better under expectations.
I personally believe that when extensions and renovations are underway, the 18th of May is not the best… maybe it would be better to opt for hotel closed for renovation.
Very bad view of parts under construction… pickup truck and miscellaneous.

Very nice beach but the prices are exaggerated. 600 Euro per day!

Just loving our fourth stay at this excellent hotel. Could not wish for a better location or more stunning views. The beach is clean, quiet and perfect for snorkeling. All the staff are most helpful and offer a genuine welcome.

I'd say a love was born. Exclusive location, away from the super crowded beaches, staff so friendly that they feel like family. Lovely place. If there were 6-7 stars, they all deserve it.

The hotel is surrounded by greenery and total tranquillity. The sea is very close and beautiful in front of the island of Tavolara.

Ausgezeichnetes, eher ruhiges Hotel für Paare so ab 35 Jahren. Freundliches Service und gutes Essen und ein wunderbarer, nicht überfüllter Strand. Unbedingt Gelsengitter mitnehmen und mit Doppelkleberband montieren, da ansonsten keine Ruhe von den Gelsen/Mosiquittos.

Was a very nice holiday. Hotel and staff 1++. We like to come back. Thank you very much.
