A bit dated structure, this year has changed management and I have to say that it has done him good… Breakfast varies, good bread. Large rooms, in good condition. Staff always kind and efficient. For large and small animation in theater and live music at the bar. Pool, and local x play footballbalilla.

It is the second year in a row that I stay in this property, once again I was largely satisfied. Excellent restaurant, despite the large influx of guests the management of the room and service are the best and is noteworthy the quality and variety of food, especially the international breakfast. The rooms are simple and comfortable, they meet the needs of young users, the kitchen is small but complete with everything, very comfortable even the internal mini market. The gym and swimming pool are beautiful from the balconies and the swimming pool is very comfortable, if you are looking for an alternative to hiking.

We decided to spend the long weekend of August this year from 15 to 19. Family with 2 adults and 2 minors. The property is what was the Olympic athletes' village of Turin 2006 then converted into a hotel hotel managed by TH resorts. I proceed by step:
-Welcome: good, at reception friendly staff and received on 15 at 12 with welcome cocktails.
-Accommodation: The property is a bit dilapidated in the sense that you can see that it is old. It's a bit of a maze as the central body is far from the rooms and to reach them you have to go through 2 elevators and several tunnels but it is also the feature of the place.
'Rooms: here's a bit sad note in my opinion. They are mini apartments with a bedroom, bathroom and living area with sofa bed and kitchen. The bathroom is small, cramped and old-fashioned as well as the shower. The bedroom has a big problem for me. The architect who designed it had the unhealthy idea of making a window that from in the hotel hallway with opaque glass obscured only by a tent that serves no purpose. Too bad that until late at night if someone passes in the hallway to reach their room wakes you up for noises if you chat and for the light that filters that illuminates the room despite the curtain. In addition, mattresses and noisy nets, if one of them turns the other wakes up.

Made from the eponymous complex built for the athletes of the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, it is a beautiful structure organized as a residence with an enviable series of comforts. Swimming pool, solarium, restaurant, baby center, spa, mini market, etc. In a perfect position in the winter, just a short walk from the slopes, it is equally convenient in summer for excursions and walks. Competitive prices for the quality of the structure and equipment. 100% recommendable.

Went about 6 years ago for a pre-season retreat in Sestriere. The reception of the staff was excellent, good signage, perhaps a problem: endless and kilometrical corridors uphill and downhill to reach your room. As a company we had the dining area with buffet service, conference room, swimming pool and gym. The room where I stayed was a nice organized kitchen with lots of table, chairs, microwave and fridge. The view of the mountains was wonderful, equipped with a balcony having to spread and chat with the nearby volleyball players stationed. Really nice staff and conference room the top.

Great beds and a nice kitchen! Nice overnight stay for the ski season.

Amazing structure. Everything works perfectly and the rooms are spacious and cozy. Hospitable staff and entertainment well above expectations. The half board service is perfect for those who want to spend the whole day skiing. The catering service despite being a free flow offers varied dishes and always of excellent quality. I also recommend the Olimpic card which also allows access to the pool and gym. The slopes are 20 metres from the entrance.

L'hotel Villaggio Olimpico di Sestriere é una struttura molto grande con al suo interno ogni comfort di genere, quali una palestra ben attrezzata, una piscina, la spa con sauna, un ristorante che con la nuova gestione è diventato più raffinato e soprattutto con cucina di livello. L'animazione è molto cortese e organizza spettacoli veramente carini, nonché una moltitudine di attività per I non sciatori (ciaspolate, escursioni, etc. ). Anche il personale é cortese e le receptionist disponibili. Le stanze sono essenziali nell'arredamento, ma con ogni comfort. È presente un ampio parcheggio coperto con accesso all'interno della struttura. Cosa fondamentale, l'albergo è a 20 mt dalle piste.

Excellent spot. Fantastic for the skiing. Very family friendly. Well run place.

I spent 4 days with my girlfriend at Villaggio Olimpico and we had an amazing experience. The location is perfect, just 2 minutes from the slopes and is perfectly connected with the city center. Friendly and helpful staff and amazing perks like swimming pool, gym and spa. Reccomended!

Former Olympic Village now part of TH village chain with relative animation. Good location The village also has a minimarket, a gym and a small swimming pool. Very good restaurant type buffet. The spacious rooms are equipped with a kitchen with fridge and microwave. Under the rooms there are the Skibox to store ski boots, skis and rackets as well as a parking for those arriving with their own car.

Very high level structure. Impeccable Hotel service. TH organization extremely consolidated. Milky Way Ski school excellent. Personal experience with Maestro Alessandro doormat above all expectations, albeit with a collective course.

Perfect location and excellent staff. Doesn't get any better than this.

Unfortunately, with the new direction, I have to review my review. From the stars to the stables. New Year's Eve flop! Given the wonderful experience lived last New year, we decided to reconfirm also for this reason to find the same quality. It definitely wasn't like that.
As last year, the expense was 120 euros apiece. This year though, the wines were excluded! Surprise! Well, now you're there… We arrive at the aperitif organized in the theatre, practically in the dark, only some soft coloured light; Virtually impossible to see in the pot. The appetizer buffet was rich though. At 8pm. 30 we move to the room used for dinner. Everyone in the queue to wait a lot of time as at the supermarket checkout to have the table. We go in, our table is not. The waiter accompanies us to the center of the room and "abandons" them. It unleashes the "panic among the waiters, no one knows what to do. We are told to sit at a table assigned to other people, but not being told to them, I refuse of course to take the responsibility of getting people up, so I invite the waiter to do so. Finally, after so many anderivieni, we sit down. We find that we have to take the water from the distributor (souvenir spending euro 120) as the self service. The dishes are coming, worthy of the company canteen of Ansaldo. We turn and discover that discontent is general and not circumscribed to our table. Being regular customers, heartily, we regretted the old chef.

The Olympic Village is very well equipped inside there is everything: Minimarket, spa, swimming pool, gym, theatre, disco, bar, restaurant (with good and varied food), games room… But the room/apartment has some problems: in the apartment where I stayed (for three) on arrival there was no toilet paper, the heating did not work very well, the TV could not attack, the phone did not work, the bedspread was Stained and the kitchen was not very supplied (no napkins, no buraco, no detergent for dishes and crockery partly dirty). The staff of the village proved available for the main issues exposed (such as absence of toilet paper and problems with heating) trying to solve the problem as much in their power.

Great rooms, prices to high at bar and restaurant.

Perfect location for the local slopes. Spartan but fully functional accommodation, though this depends whether you want to go for half or full board or self-catering. Other facilities include ski locker rooms, a small swimming pool, organised kids' activities, walking tours (particularly for non-skiers), supermarket and a spa.

Camere moderne e spaziose, servizio mezza pensione conveniente e location suggestiva.

I found it quite hard to locate the room on the first day, largely due to it's size and poor communication from reception staff. It's size could also double the time it takes to get to the slope's. That being said, the room and the hotel itself were beautiful and it didn't cost a fortune to stay there. My room was easily the nicest and biggest of all budget accommodation I've stayed in, over various countries in the Alps.

4-star structure located right in front of the ski slopes, the best there is to accommodate tourists eager to ski and have fun! Among the many services offered covered garage, a bar, a nightclub, a clothing store, mini market, wellness, hairdresser, gym and pool, as well as a staff of talented and prepared entertainers that will brighten your day every morning with snow-shoe hikes, games and night shows in the theater. Guests also have a mini club for children, with a rich daily schedule from Monday to Saturday, a desk of the milky way for more information on the ski slopes and the ski passes, ski rent for the rental of ski equipment. To complete the picture of the offer an unfailing and excellent cuisine with local dishes. If all services add the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff in welcoming and cater to your every need, your holiday in the mountains has already begun!

Abstract: there is no single reason in the world not to strongly advise against this place. Not worth the money nor the 4 stars.
The world is beautiful because it is varied, everyone has their tastes. I just can't understand the comments enthusiastic for this structure.
It is a structure which has nothing to do with a cosy mountain hotel. Cement on cement, no wood, a few spaces. Composed of independent blocks connected by a corridor. The first note concerns the hallway: How can we think of an hotel 4 stars a connecting corridor between the blocks of the structure is not heated? It is unthinkable that we should never pass from ~ 20 degrees at a temperature from anorak? In a hotel? Never seen such a thing. It is outrageous that we should necessarily follow a corridor of 200 meters in frigid temperatures? MAh!
Other point: that a child can regurgitate in the hallway. But the management is unable to eliminate the smell even after 5 days is hallucinating.
Other nonsense: the restaurant. The hotel has a restaurant that is unable to accept, probably, not even half of the guests. We were asked to take turns to go to dinner and, despite this, we waited until 40 min. All while the Manager and staff pasteggiavano comfortably in the living room. In a 4 star hotel? In a 4 star hotel I've always had my table in my room. In a 4 star hotel I never had to queue like a canteen (because the restaurant it self) to eat.

THE BEST IN SESTRIERE
The best place for those who love skiing and for walkers, open both in summer and winter.
The resort is huge rooms are mini apartments, all of mountain view.
Ideal place for families and young people, there is everything pool Gym mini Spa pizzeria bar disco and Surfshop shop.

Sure about staying in block A or B must make about 1000 meters to get to Reception with the Hall really cold I recommend going to the gym or pool well dressed.
It's said that if you arrive in the morning to find your vacant rooms don't got changed in the car to avoid losing the day's skiing. The kitchen isn't the best and then too many waiters that you swing around like birds of prey take the pot as you finish. You see who are in a hurry to leave the tables. House wine.
The TV is in the living room and not in the bedroom

Outside the entrance is not thrown salt so it is dangerous with the risk falls
and then to finish in a facility like that there's even a small infirmary.

AWESOME PLACE? who said that the mountain is beautiful only in winter?
I booked for my summer vacation at the Olympic village for the dance stage, from photos and the website looks gorgeous. I will say later.
