Absolutely recommended B&B. The warm host Andrea has created a dreamlike place with the Ostello del Castello. The rooms are comfortably furnished. The location is quiet and not far from the center. Breakfast is delicious. We will definitely be back.

We wished we had more time to enjoy this beautiful town and the outstanding hospitality of the owners. We were on a quick overnight before the Bernina Express. This property is not in the rush around touristy area of the station. It is close enough to walk and you get to see sites of the historical area. All the phots of the property that others have posted very accurately reflect the beauty of the completely modern rustic Itailian farm house. I have added pictures of the breakfast as it was one of the best we have had in our tour so far. The photo of the family dog. Well because he was such a sweet dog.

Alessia glimpse the austere immediately, but also her warm and friendly after (the appearance deceives… and true! ). Two nights in the tree give the idea of a week of vacation. Super Hotel (bed and breakfast) with great hosts. Is not a youth hostel! An old house has been totally renovated and rebuilt with a lot of charm. Can be recommended at any time.

Stayed here with a large group of cyclists and we were absolutely amazed by the beauty of the hotel, the kindness of the host, fantastic rooms with great beds and delicious breakfast. Will make sure to return if I visit the region again!

L’Ostello is rustic architectural wonder, that was previously mid — evil farm house made of beautiful configurations of stone thoroughly updated and beautifully renovated, with loving attention to detail. We were greeted at the entrance by the charming owner and his wife, who both spoke excellent English, and gave us the warmest of welcomes as if he was greeting old friends from school. Our rooms were lovely, cozy and comfortable with beds for three, so quiet it was easy for us to catch up on sleep after days of jet lag. Once settled in, the owner after serving us a fabulous breakfast proceeded to give us the grand tour escorting us to the upper deck of the house. He explained the historical nature of the house and the sweeping mountain views, with churches, grape vineyards. Back in the days after WW2 Tirano was very poor and coffee, scarce in in Italy was very expensive due to a high duty.

Very nice place, unlike traditional hotels. Medeval house remodelled. Very scenic surroundings. Highly recommend this place.

Great Hosts. Place is beautifuly designed. Amazing views from courtyard. Kids friendly. Nice breakfast with local produce. Quite yet 3 mins drive to town centre. A hidden local gem. Will be back.

We stumbled upon it for a weekend, the thing that fascinated us the most was the warm welcome. Enchanted by the perfectly renovated place, warm rooms and cosy breakfast with quality products, ideal place for all.

Superb family-ran hotel. We only stayed at this recently renovated farmhouse for one night, but were made to feel like long term guest by the hosts. Our room and the breakfast we enjoyed in the morning were excellent. Cannot reccomend this place highly enough.

A lovely place where tranquility and history reign. The hostel has been renovated from top to bottom without affecting the ancient history that sets it apart. The owner has been distinguished by courtesy and kindness, he has guided us by exposing the secular history surrounding the hostel and the city of Tirano. The place is very quiet, clean and tidy, the breakfast in the morning is full of local products that you must definitely try. From Bresaola to yogurt, from apple juice to cakes, we had no way to dine but we certainly will not miss it next time.

The place is fantastic, a renovation is made really well. The owners are friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to stay there. Breakfast with typical local products was 5 stars. Despite the name indicates a "hostel" is really a nice place. Council at 100% and hope to return.

Bella Ostello. Very good atmosphere. You want to make beautiful pictures from the ostello on entry. Very friendly hosts. Can I find very well by the signs. Recommended for all.
