Unprofessional. For a mistake and little correctness, despite not having used the room, I was charged the costs. They have no common sense.

Arrogant receptionist, room smells like cigarettes.

Top hotel, clean and well-kept rooms, and then the staff an added value😉 highly recommended.

With the room paid and reservation, upon my arrival I was told that they haven’t got any room for us, fully booked, they left us sleep at the street and didn’t care, there was no intention from the hotel to solve the problem (us and another 15 guests at the same situation in the queue) was already 2 am (due to late flight) and obviously we couldn’t find a new hotel at this time. Very bad hotel definitely not coming back again and don’t recommend! And still awaiting for my refund.

I Upon arrival at a hotel you would expect to be welcomed warmly, especially being a foreigner, it’s basic hospitality. However it was quite the opposite at the Idea Hotel Malpensa. I was very tired from my morning flight (7am) and was only served in the afternoon (2pm) and even then the hotel receptionists couldn’t find my booking after I had shown them the booking on booking. Com and booking number, they’re reactions were very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional and the language barrier made the situation worse.
I eventually managed to get the room but I refrained from asking for assistance for anything after their lack of professionalism.
The pizza at the hotel was terrible, therefore overpriced, the 500ml bottle of water in the mini bar was also over priced however they have vending machines in the hallways.
The room was clean, but there is a charge for room service and the hotel shuttle to and from the airport which is quite strange. I had pay for the breakfast even after my booking on the website included breakfast.
I wont be visiting or recommending this hotel to anyone. Very very disappointing standards and service.

The HOTEL employee didn't find my reservation, he had no idea what the AGODA. COM website was, I showed him the reservation, the days and he didn't find it! He said that my check-in time had passed and I couldn't enter the hotel, BUT THE CHECKIN IS AFTER 2 PM, many people arrive at night and at dawn and enter the HOTEL and he wouldn't let us in! I HAD TO SLEEP AT THE AIRPORT, IN THE BANKS UNTIL the morning came to go to Milano, where I had another reservation by booking. TOTAL NONSELF with travelers, after a tiring journey I had to sleep at the airport, I had to pay a round trip taxi to the hotel TO SLEEP AT THE AIRPORT! PLEASE return my money, this cannot happen because of the hotel's incompetence!

My husband and I were due to travel to Italy but it was canceled due to COVID-19. Airlines and hotels have all been accommodating about refunds or vouchers. Not Idea Hotel Milano Malpensa. They've refused refunds or even rebooking and are the only hotel I've dealt with out of the many to do so. I don't recommend staying with a company like this when so many others are cooperative and helpful.

Staff very rude… they tell you a price then you get them is another… you lose a what you call x to have news and once you have paid and gone away nn you're worth nothing more.

The hotel is lousy has a horrible transport I found third world, the arrival at the nefarious hotel did not have a sandwich at 23 when I arrive, that if you drink the ones I wanted, and very expensive for the service that gives, in life I will recommend it! It also has a bell tower next door that gives the hours and stockings so we imagine disensed that night. Anyway a horror of hotel that had been for years!
so I do not absolutely recommend anything from this hotel the zero situation, ruidoso and do not follow.

Great Hotel — great food at the restaurant — courteous staff — airport shuttle — clean, large rooms.

Very excellent service nice foods and drinks, we really enjoyed and they looked after us xx.

The «free» shuttle is VERY LIMITED to certain times, with room for ONLY 6 passengers! If you’re the 7th person in line, then «that’s just your problem», and they suggest you to take taxi almost whenever you ask for a shuttle.
The staff is not very kind or service-minded…

I was charged twice for a one night stay and I tried with emails to ask for my money back but they wouldn’t reimburse me. They did a mistake of booking 2 rooms when I only asked for one and I lost money. Will never stay there again.

I am suprised you dont do better and change the things infront of you. This sofa is in the lobby? How Can you do your Best? The pictures from the hotel restaurant menu. All you pizza are frozen? We are in italy? And for 10 €

Hotel service polite. Hotel nice and clean. Breakfast was a huge buffet table with a great choice.

Convenient to the airport with a free shuttle. Room was too hot and we didn’t have hot water in the evening. Nice selection for breakfast.

The rooms are good. The service the reception staff disinterested and unmotivated. To explain the simple request from me as I was to get the room warmer in order for it to be answered would be two switches, one of them might be broken try be I should change the other. Unfortunately, that didn't work so really. The dinner and the Breakfast a disaster. The Shuttle Bus does not run in the afternoon and the taxi drivers at the airport have no desire for the short distance (about 4km) and demand a flat rate of 25 euros. We then went to the foot. Overall not to be recommended for a Overnight stay one way for long periods of time.

As hotels go it is very well appointed but a few drawbacks for potential clients. Unfortunately local taxis from airport do not want the fare as it is too near from terminal 2 and would openly tell you. The hotel does run a shuttle service but does NOT run after 12.30. Resumes 18.30hrs til after midnight. When reporting our experience to hotel reception we were told that the taxi service was not their problem and should report it to local police! Not a number you would k…now being a visitor.
When trying to telephone reception on 6 occasions line was constantly engaged. When querying non answering we were told they were very busy by a very sullen man on reception. The same gent who advised we should report taxi scenario to police. Not a good touch to greeting guests.
However his response to asking how many telephone lines the hotel had was simple … 1 … and retreated into “back office”leaving another receptionist to book us in. This gent was very civil and polite and restored our faith in hotel. Thank you! The “ sullen “ receptionist would best be advised to take a course in good manners and public relations. While all these shuttle service are advised on Booking. Com it should be noted on the difficulties experienced in getting to the hotel should be emphasised as the location is some distance from Terminal 2. And somewhat remote if no taxis wish to take your custom. Value for money was good, basic restaurant with very attentive and pleasant staff.

The room is good, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is okay. The clean ladies and staff from bar and restaurant are very nice. The receptionists are unprepared. They give you wrong information and can’t help you, just keep saying we can’t do anything. There is a bag in the room to use laundry service and the hotel do not offer this service anymore. The reception is very often empty, try to call and keep waiting until someone has a goodwill to answer.

Good for a night, especially if flying in or out. Free transfer to and from the airport via minibus (from outside departure gate 16) but timeslot must be booked at reception for going to the airport. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Front of desk staff were informative and spoke English. On Google maps it says you can walk, but we attempted this and could not find a walkable route. Better to just take the shuttle provided.

Decent value for the money. Clean hotel breakfast is good. And it's the only hotel around with FREE airport pick up and drop off!

I have previously stayed at this hotel about a year ago and appreciated the quality for the the price offered, large rooms and proximity to the airport. Unfortunately this time it has been a very  disappointing stay. The room wasn't properly cleaned and had maintenance issues, including a busted light in the bathroom.   Breakfast buffet did offer freshly baked pastry but fruits and vegetables looked old, with other limited offerings. Shuttle bus service runs only in the morning and evening; it is recommended to book upon check in or via phone but this doesn't guarantee you a comfortable ride as the small minivan cannot accommodate many suitcases and guests comfortably. Free Wi-Fi in the rooms but very slow speed. On the plus side, the staff at the reception was very friendly and professional, and hotel director Filippo offered help to solve these issues.

The hotel is conveniently located for transit or late arrival and early departure. Very economical in price. There is a transfer, it is in Terminal 1 at the exit of the 16 second floor of the terminal. All minibuses from renters, parking lots, neighboring hotels come there. Look for your own with the inscription Idea. There is a transfer every 25 minutes, a break from 12 to 18 hours. In general, walk 15 minutes to the hotel. True, along the road.
Rooms are spacious, large beds.
A lot of people, which is understandable. You need to book a taxi to the airport from the evening — don't forget, or you'll have to book a taxi for 15 euros.
The restaurant is not very tasty, although breakfast is normal.

Shameful! Rude, surreal treatment they blocked us for 2 hours at check in wanting the advance payment despite through booking we had the one booking without advance, bully and disorganized. Rooms not in the standards. Safe in room faulty, but signs everywhere where we recommend the clientele to use the safes, restaurant plus style corporate cafeteria not in management at the hotel, dirt on the tables, unpleasant smells along The corridors of the rooms to the old carpet and Not clean. Great for those who have to go to Malpensa. The Staff were very helpful Possibility to book a shuttle to Malpensa for free. Standard Price and impeccable cleanliness.

Lovely, clean hotel. Breakfast is included. Friendly staff. The only minus is there is no transport if you arrive at night. With a taxi at night too hard, call Uber, will be faster (20 euros to the hotel).

Good value for money but not top quality in the rooms. The hotel shuttle is convenient. And the breakfast is really cool with lots of choice and fresh fruit. I'll probably use it again for transits in Milan.

Very close to the airport with a free transfer. Stayed there for one night before my fly back home. They had an option to late check out which was very convenient to us. With the free shuttle to the airport we had access to trains, buses and rental cars. Was more convenient to us on that day rent a car for half a day then to use the other means of transport. Great breakfast, had an restaurant on site (with average prices).

Hotels looks a bit run down from the outside, but inside everything was fine. You cant get there by foot but their shuttle runs right on time. Make sure to "book" the way back to the airport as soon as you arrive to get a seat at your desired time. Visited in Sep 17.

I have been There several times, altogether satisfied. Comfortable and spacious Rooms, elegant bathrooms, buffet breakfast with a wide choice. They Have a free airport shuttle, but it does not run from 12:00 to 18:00 (! ). A real ruin the central heating: in the rooms it is always too hot or too cold.
In Addition, some rooms have windows that let in many drafty.

Awful customer service! Airport shuttle does not run 24hrs. U must take a taxi n pay 15euro for just 2miles. Room was extremely hot when I asked for a maintenance to come cool off the room. They never came by. We had to turn the unit off just to have it less hot. We had a very early flight the next morning. Needless to say my family and I had a very restless night. Will NEVER at this hotel. Much rather pay alittle more n stay somewhere else.

Incapable personnel. Late shuttle and always full at the end you have to take a taxi of 15 euros after you secure the shuttle when you book. Breakfast without water with the cakes recycled pillows uncomfortable. The rooms are nice and quite spacious.

The hotel is located in a strategic position for those who need to reach the airport of Milan Malpensa in a very short time (5 minutes). Rooms and toilets are clean and comfortable. For those like me who did not want to dine inside the hotel can use a restaurant/pizzeria a few meters away… There's nothing close… Two aspects to review, the first concerns the temperature inside the room, very high, when I walked in I had a shock. The other rather more serious about the shuttle service, run badly, at least for what happened to me… I almost missed the flight because the shuttle driver did not want to leave as there being no control of the people who had booked the shuttle anyone who arrived came in and Sat…

I did my first reservation through booking. Com in this hotel four days before my arrival. I used my business card that I've been using for five years now (Visa Business), I never had ANY trouble with it. Two days later my reservation was cancelled due to incorrect card data. I called them to discuss the matter and was told they could make the same reservation for 20 EUR more. I had no choice but to agree. When I arrived it occurred that the second reservation was not made either so they tried to charge me another 40 EUR more! Luckily I had the confirmation from them on email and threatened to call the police if they do not give me the room at the agreed price. This is a regular theft! Moreover the reception's English level was so poor I had big troubles communicating with them — this is not an European standard! The shuttle to the airport is free but do not believe in Italian's punctuality, it was delayed 15 minutes which made us really nervous as we had a flight soon. The room was neat but there were only 2 towels and one soap and the reservation was made clearly for three people. The AC did not work, neither the handshower, the breakfast was terrible to say the least. To sum up — I still feel conned, if I had stayed longer I would have definitely done something about that, one however doesn't want to argue with an non English speaking Italian when staying in a hotel some 7 hours before a long flight the day after.

Quality good price. Convenient for. The airport. Something you could improve, like the shower head leaking water from all sides, but they are trifles. The room booked on booking was double but NN was available on arrival, we were given a room with 2 French double beds but cmq nothing to say. Housekeeping OK. Good breakfast. Recommended.
Too much waiting for the keys to be delivered. Always bring them with you if you go out.

In the context a good hotel. Modern large rooms in my case double French double bed. There's a restaurant and a bar. Breakfast and good. Good service. Considering the cost and good value for money. Convenient free transport in T1 or T2.
Difficulty in finding free parking in the evening hours. The parking fee costs 8 Euro per day.
The reception service in my opinion goes a little revised. If you stay more than one night, never return the keys. Otherwise at the retreat expect half a minimum due to many arrivals.

Basics. Away from it all. What good is the shuttle to the airport free of charge. But be careful ciando expect the tranfer at the airport because almost or and va.

New Hotel and confirtable. Stuck at the airport. The restaurant is good for lunch and dinner there.

Standard hotel close to Malpensa airport. Nice and quiet rooms. Hotel has a small bar and restaurant with reasonable prices. Breakfast is nothing to remember about. Free shuttle bus to airport is added bonus. Room ptices are affordable.

The hotel transfer from the airport does not depart from 12 to 18 hours. The hotel does not open the windows of the rooms, and the air conditioning works automatically for heating and does not turn off ( ( (

The accommodation is spectacular for a 4 star hotel. The transportation from and to the airport is punctual and free, large room, clean, beds great, breakfast; no comments!

The location is perfect, there is a transfer to the airport, like even free. I arrived at night, went out, in a minute got in a free transfer, in five minutes has arrived. Everything was perfect.

It's shameful… I fixed through booking but unfortunately it happened some problem with the credit card on the preauthorization… I called booking that kindly have tried to rectify this by calling the hotel… At first the booking operator said they would stop the same room until 6pm on February 3rd, when I phoned myself (it took me a long time to take the line… They did not answer) I found an operator, male, who treated me from starvation telling me that the credit card was deprived of liquidity, which is not true confirmed by the bank, and that if I did not recharge the card (Visa credit card with a nice plafond) the room D Ava free now!
He didn't talk and he wound up telling me that he didn't give a damn if I'd undone!
This happened all today January 25th at 2pm, 30th!

We stayed there for one night. The air in the room was very dry because of the heating from air conditioner which we couldn't turn off. We made reservation for 4 people but there were just 2 pillows, towels and soap& shampoo just for 2. We took more pillows from the lobby. In the morning we opened the window to breathe fresh air. The breakfast was good but the coffee just from machine and it was bad. A few hours after we left they wrote me an email that I've broken the window and will have to pay for the repair and if it won't be repaired within a day they'll charge me for the next day as well. I don't know how the window got broken but I'm 100% sure that it wasn't our fault and as we left the room everything was good. When were leaving nobody even came to check if everything OK. I don't know how it happened and if it happened at all, but be careful, and when you leave, ask someone to check if everything in order.

Super! I went with my mother to a room and it is really excellent hotel. Without a doubt I would return!

Great hotel, clean, cozy, nice rooms and convenient to the airport. Possibility of shuttle bus to and from Malpensa. Breakfast by majority of sweets, I presume made by the hotel chef. Very helpful staff. The only drawback the riatorante; Personally the food I felt was of poor quality.

Do not regulate air conditioning individually. Extremely warm in the room. No help from the reception …

Super hotel at Milan airport, great rooms and very good breakfast at a small price.

On arrival, you’re greeted with what seems to be a bit of a run down hotel, however it’s only cosmetic and it was nothing to turn me and my grandmother away. Check-in was relatively easy and the room was easy to find. The rooms are quite basic, although they do the job. I guess the balance of convenience to the airport and comforts are weighed up in price. The gripe the I have is that the room is in need of a bit of TLC or better maintenance. The shower head doesn’t fit into its holder and continually fell whilst having a shower, nor is there a shower screen or curtain to stop water going everywhere. The wardrobe was a little tatty and adds to the apparent decay of the room. Overall I would say this is an OK hotel for the price and convenience of being so close to the airport. Edit: There is fresh, barista made coffee for free in the lobby. Big ticket surprise.

Super located hotel, shuttle on time, room great.

My room is heavily repaid, the furniture is sometimes severely damaged. Today there was even no warm water in the morning, an absolute no go! The staff rather unkind.

They had nice rooms. Large, clean and well maintained. This includes the bathroom. The reception looked a bit run down and not renovated, so that gave an incorrect impression of the hotel. Reception staff seemed overworked but otherwise quite friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. They also have free shuttle service to the airport even in the late evening. They have a good system of assigning who will go on what shuttle run to ensure this goes smooth. Overall it was a good experience.

Excellent hotel for stop over inbetween flights. Very clean. Rooms are very comfortable. Bath rooms excellent. Staff nice but don't smike much.

This was a fine and cheap place to stay for a quick stopover after a late flight. Take the Idea Hotel shuttle bus rather than the general airport shuttle as the latter won't take you near the hotel and it wasn't easy to find in the dark. The room was clean, toiletries were supplied and there was a mini bar.

If you need to hairdryer before the flight and you need a transfer, you get a transfer from an early time (5:00 a. M. ), Slyshemost is not very good and there is nothing in the take.

Hotel 3-ri star. It's actually pulling a maximum of two. Breakfast was very good, close to the hotel. Nothing at all. The rooms are so good. For one, two nights, no more.

Nice hotel for those arriving late or departing early from Malpens Airport. The breakfast was typically Italian with many sweet options, with some cheese, eggs and bacon. Shuttle works, but ALWAYS call them to confirm all is right and everything will be fine. Really affordable prices.

It looks rather run down on entry. The room is great, but the air-conditioning is freezing. Make sure you log in correctly for Wi-Fi and realize the shuttle bus (a wonderful addition) stops at 12 and starts again at 6pm. You cannot walk from the airport, taxi is the only way. The restaurant is very basic, but there is nothing else around. If you ask for tea, make sure you specify a bag with water or they'll give you hot lemon tea already sugared.

The hotel is new, but in the middle of the night there was a big problem, the promised ride was absent according to the schedule, and in 01:15, no 01:40 arrived at the second airport, because of the number of suitcases the taxi was also a problem, had to go to the shuttle, Who doesn't get to the hotel about 600-700 meters, no pointers, I had to go randomly, walk into a hotel and find the direction. Upon arrival, we were warned that the hotel had no air-conditioning.
And they offered to move to another hotel where the force was no longer at 2:30 nights, especially in the morning of 8:00 was to leave. It was found that the hotel was provided only 2 times at a certain time at 5:30 and at 10:30 a. M. Which was not in our routine, had to order a Suhpoek (this was organized). Leaving the hotel was also problematic, the internet tried to order shuttles to the airport at 8:00 a. M. But received an answer that the service was provided in place, but on the spot, it turned out that up to 10:00 a. M. All the seats had been distributed and I had to Terminal 1 To be at 8:00 o'clock in the morning, I had to order a taxi, which was helped by hotel staff. So, in the late arrival, I wouldn't recommend using this hotel.

Great and cheap hotel! Comfy beds and nice spacious rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have been on two occasions and loved it both times, the restaurant was not too good though, the food was ok, but the prices where to high for the restaurant "standards". Big breakfast buffet, it was great!

Absolutely awful. Took an hour to check-in with a pre-booked room! Service appalling. Failed in all aspects of organising shuttle/taxi for the morning. Air-con wasn't working. Etc etc. Just don't go there.

I arrived at night, I couldn't put the car in the garage because the supply truck kept me from access.
In the room there was smell of eating and the wet shower tray, so gross.

It is a good hotel, relatively new, sleeping a night or two near the airport of Malpensa. They have free shuttle between the hotel and the airport service, but it must be booked for trips to first thing in the morning. The menu of the restaurant is simple and of price normal. With regard to the rooms, are comfortable and spacious.

Good hotel. Staff spoke with a English which was nice and the rates weren't bad. They have shuttle service to the airport as well. Rooms were clean and the bathroom was nice. Only negative is the restaurant. I ordered a ham and cheese pizza and it was awful. They made a cheese pizza and just slapped large slices of ham on top.

Fabulous and super recommended. I had a problem and changed me flight the other day to call the hotel and I went to look. The place is very comfortable, clean and modern. Excellent buffet breakfast. Staff excellent, free airport transfers.

New modern hotel with a comfort medium high. I was with my family and I had a great time.

The room was clean and spacious. Problem? The toilet paper holder was missing so had to reach over to the counter for the paper. A shade was missing from one of the ceiling lamps. Some parts of the room looked a little shabby although the room in general was clean, sheets were sparkling white, and there were enough towels. I have to say also that I like a bathtub that has on/off faucets. I don't want to have to think about how to get the water running. The bathtub had very modern hardware and while trying to get the water going, I managed to spray it all over part of the room. Also, wouldn't it be nice if the hotel could leave complete instructions on how to use the TV? I don't know about you, but my cable and TV work a little differently. Since there were no instructions, I played with the remote until I was able to get it going. By the way, when I called reception to complain about the toilet paper dispenser, she managed to totally misunderstand what I was saying, so I just decided to let it go. Bottom line though: such close proximity to the airport was a big plus and the room rate was excellent. Whatever was missing or wrong is probably par for the course considering the rate. I would do it again.

Confort and very friendly staff.

A pleasant surprise. The hotel, connected for free to and from terminal 1 of Malpensa, is comfortable. The staff is courteous, smiling and affable. The restaurant has great food at reasonable prices. Definitely recommend and return.

Hotel with a great location. Very close to Malpensa airport. By car you can get there in only 4 minutes. There is the possibility to get to the airport directly and free of charge via the shuttle provided. The beds are very comfortable and well appointed, despite the continuous passage of aerrei. We didn't do it breakfast, lunch, dinner, because our plane game at 5 am, but if we wanted it there was also this possibility. The receptionist (all men), always very professional and kind. Great hotel for those who do not want to spend much, and wants a foothold before catching a flight.
