Great food in the restaurant.

I and my Boyfriend ordered a pizza, then after have a little chat my boyfriend said he is Nigerian, the waiter ended the chat, we made orders and asked for a soda, but we were served natural cold water I was so hot that I used thee bottle to cool myself unknowing it was just a normal water, we my boyfriend opened the water he found out it was a wrong order, we asked the a waiter to get us what we ordered initially but she said I already use the water on my body, my boyfriend requested for an apology for the waiters misunderstanding and tried to pay for both water, instead we were kicked out in the most rudest way, she took our plates an bottle of water, put them in trash and asked us to leave.

But there has never been a voice of people speak well there a good service ephicent staff very active also overlooking the lake.

Although the food was nice, one waitress was extremely rude and abrupt with anyone who wasn’t Italian. After pointing out our table to us she then threw the menus on the table. She was unfriendly to us and also a table of Americans sitting behind us. A very disappointing end to our last night in Varenna.

I was there with my brother to eat a pizza on the fly, place to avoid absolutely… Prices too high and bad quality. We took 2 drinks in cans (paid 8 euros). Not to mention the pizzas, a daisy and a spring the frozen ones at the supermarket are better. Total 30 euros. 2 Pizzas, 2 drinks and 1 coffee. You don't see me anymore.

Rate the restaurant here. Super fine food. Good ambience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A little expensive in the end, but you're not here every day. Grazie.

I stopped for a pizza on the fly, great with fresh ingredients and sublime dough. It also works as a hotel. Sympathetic the owner who entertain customers with capacity and without intruence. Nice and courteous also the maids. Price in the norm being a place with a high tourist presence.

It's worth it, though it's usually maxed out.

I went to the Sun Hotel for lunch Sunday. Cozy place though outside was full and they made us sit inside where it got hotter than outside! Despite this I ate well and spent the right, abundant flows.

Great service, good food, have had the pasta, various entrees, pizza, desserts, coffee and wine. Very welcoming, would recommend. Friendly staff.

In the beautiful Piazza San Giorgio in Varenna, with comfortable outdoor space _ also in a pleasant courtyard inside _ restaurant with a discreet assortment, a quick service and a kitchen of typical dishes more than discreet.

We ate well, but the prices in proportion are very high, definitely also based on the central location of the restaurant.

Two days passed by enchantment over to Varenna romantic village the Hotel located in Food Center I dare say great not to mention the courtesy of the owners… Thank you.

Our room had a great view of the lake. Very nice breakfast included and best of all located in Varenna which is lovely. Very friendly hosts.

I wish I could give 3.5 stars but am going with 4 since nothing really wrong just underwhelming food. Seemed to favour quantity over quality so if you want a big plate of pasta for 10€ this is your place. Service with a smile, decent Wi-Fi, lots on the menu.

Some soulless place: it seems to be on the square, but not cozy; Service at zero. The food was OK for a snack but nothing special. I don't recommend it.

My husband and I spend several weeks in Varenna each year, and this is one of our favorite restaurants. We have a tradition of having dinner here on our first night back: pizza Margarita, a liter of the house red wine, and profiteroles for dessert. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, and the staff is warm and wonderful. Highly recommended.

Super friendly staff. Great restaurant. Perfect breakfast. The room was large. Bed was not very comfortable but ok.

I had dinner reasonably, although the fish fry of river was a bit bland. The lovely terrace. Pity that the service is a little dry.

Posto molto bello nella bellissima varenna.

Amazing location, but food didn't live up to our expectations. While tasty, and the smoked salmon was good, it didn't quite deliver for the price. I suggest going elsewhere for a few more dollars for a better meal and atmosphere.

Small but very good
I stayed in a single room for the two nights 23 and 24/05/13. A simple but adequate room with good bathroom with shower, all extremely clean, as the rest of the hotel is, including the restaurant/pizzeria which is part of the business. The owners/staff are all polite, very friendly and helpful. The price is very good considering the proximity to the lake and a substantial continental breakfast is included. I recommend it.
Piccolo ma buonissimo
Ho pernottato in camera singola il 23 e 24/05/13. Stanza semplice ma più che adeguata con ottimo bagno con doccia, tutto pulitissimo, come del resto tutto l'ambiente compreso il ristorante/pizzeria che fa parte del complesso. Tutto il personale è cortese, amichevole e disponibile. Prezzo ottimo per il luogo vicino al lago e che comprende una prima colazione continentale abbondante. Lo raccomando.

I loved that hotel, many hotels should take example. The staff beginning with the friendly manager, ending with the waiters proved kindness and professionalism combined with a funny friendly environment. I hope to come back soon! Felice Anno Nuovo.

Very tasty pizza.
We were not hotel.

We had wonderful pizza here last night. We are staying here in the most charming room on the 2nd floor with a terrace onto the piazza with the church. The house red wine was lovely. Great service. So happy to be here.

The hotel's biggest handicap is that "suite" have a roof skylight impossible to close that inevitably soggiornatori awake at dawn. Nice hotel with some rooms with views, high prices (plus they even tried not make receipt), poor breakfast. Unwise, the same figure could be better.
