Great food, friendly service, nice terrasse. We appreciated the tasty fish, fresh veggies and the homemade panna cotta. A place to come back to.

Minus one star because the curtains aren't thick enough and it's too bright too early; minus one star because the breakfast is 7€ per person and it's just toast, jam and coffee. The rest is great; clean rooms, clean toilets, very nice staff.

The location is ideal, just in front of the lake, but the hotel services are very limited. Too expensive for the overall quality.

This hotel recently renovated and in my opinion is beautiful. In the central position, view on the lake wonderful, the owners and staff very kind, rooms are equipped with all comforts. I could not find any defect.

Nice classic hotel in front of the lake with a Michelin rated restaurant and private pool. Easy access to the center and the ferry.

Family-run hotel with view on the lake of Como. Very good report quality / price and kindness of the boss is very nice. Italian cuisine in this restaurant with a shaded terrace. We have been fortunate to have a room with a balcony. The bathroom is small but everything is very clean. We hope to return there and recommend it

Enjoy great lake side view and pizza bianca in the caffe centrale. Not to recommend: pasta pomodoro and lasagne.

Not sure how this hotel warrants 4*. It is in a lovely position and has character but it simply lacks that quality to be 4* in today's world. The bar next door (at the ferry terminal) can be noisy into the early hours of next morning. With the large numbers on coach tours staying there, you have people going out early, the dining is rushed with the staff under pressure to get everyone through. Rooms are dated, needing decoration and certainly maintenance — in bathroom and to electrics. Staff are polite but simply it does not have the standards we expected especially when compared to the other hotels we stayed in on the Italian Lakes. Food OK but not outstanding. Nothing to do in the evenings as bar closes early (when we were there) — fortunately, good bars at other hotels in the town.
