Lovely little hotel. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms are a bit small though and we weren't given the room we paid for on the first night, because the owner's mother was staying there… Still recommend this place.

Lovely little place of you need a bite in Brunate, staff are very friendly and the food is very good.

What does the word "inn" evoke? A secluded, ancient, slightly neglected place. The Milan Inn is a bit so, out of the way, that it smells old. But it's clean, the bathrooms are new and the staff are courteous. Good breakfast. That's maybe for what it offers should contain a little more the price of the room.

A friendly hotel run by the family perched on the heights of Como. Good welcome, good bedding, clean. Pleasant stay.

Terrible. Don't go. No aircondition. No elevator. Dangerouse drive to the hotel. Lot of noise from over rooms. Bad breakfast. Owner not freindly…

Quiet Hotel above Como, friendly owners and good breakfast.

Very nice owner by cons Big pimp of insulation in the rooms. The bar that is underneath is quite noisy, the walls are cardboard and impossible to sleep because of the children of the hotel guests who are crying and the guests talking.
Parking is a terrace so impossible to get out if you park there with the build up of cars. The road to access the hotel is very very narrow, a car barely passes and it is two-way. Car that's just 2 centimeters from the wall sometimes.
You will have to add €20, at the price of the room, for a breakfast for two persons + the visitor's tax.

In the center of the village 2 steps from the funicular in ancient times was called Milano.

Great Patron… A must during Spring/ Summer… take the chance to enjoy good local food with a great glass of Red or White… into the shade of a open air terrace…

Staff very friendly, food good, with the menu worker is also very convenient. We got some good vegan food.

I stayed at this nice little inn, but I have no experience of its restaurant. I find it is a strategic place for a holiday in Como and immediate vicinity.

Small room but clean. Negative that we probably arrived in the side session and so no one was in the hotel, nor staff.

We went on Sunday night to eat a pizza, bad experience! Never again!
There were two of us come a kind of waiter a lot of the table and you forget to put the forks. Bring a drink and I immediately realize that the glasses are dirty. From the 8 pizzas on the cross that have on the card I order one with Bresaola and tells me that it is over and I immediately proposes one with artichokes and I ask what does it have to do? I'll settle for a daisy. After more than an hour pizzas are finally coming. The waiter realizes that he did not put his forks and put the knives not suitable for pizza. Should I tell you how the pizza was? … seca hard, a real stink! Then you wonder why you don't work. All improvised. I'm sorry, but you're not really a trade.

Hotel well placed indeed by its position! But for the rest! No view of the lake! Small room very noisy on the street, as it is hot you sleep the window open. Average breakfast! For a 3-star review. Not to remember! The owners are nice. You have to turn to find a parking space otherwise it will cost you 8 euros a night private parking of the hotel a little abused I think! Medium meal (good cold cuts, good pizza) apart from that nothing transcendent!

Coming from England / London to see family we were forced by unforseen circumstances to take a hotel at the last minute and after hours trawling the internet we came across this hotel… high up in Brunate we were unsure of what to expect being on the top of a mountain but in hindsight it would be fair to say that this hotel is without doubt Italy at its best… incredibly friendly, very well priced, quaint, very clean, a real hidden gem of a hotel hidden away up on a mountainside, the drive to it is spectacular to say the least, the rooms are clean and lovely with real Italian colonial charm, the bar is wonderful and colourful at the same time and the food is deserving of a Michelin star without a doubt! just to die for.
as for the owners they are like the family you didnt know you had just lovely, you will not go wrong here…

I went there for lunch and I was fine. The staff are friendly and helpful, the kitchen serves typical dishes and well prepared, the price is good. I can't say anything about the hotel, since I haven't.

Locanda Milano is like coming home to your family or good friends. This is Italy at its best: Warm atmosphere, local products — and the best wine cellar in the area. Federico, the owner and mr Charm — will take good care of you!
