The location and the location, a pity that the installed air conditioning is no longer repaired and with individual air conditioners with open window (exhaust hose) is operated makeshiftly, is a pity for the historically beautiful built… Otherwise, however, everything very well incl. Breakfast buffet and outdoor pool (funny in concrete with historic concrete railing)

Yesterday for the first time I have been in this beautiful Location as a photographer to a bride and groom. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent cooperation and professionalism!

We spent New Year’s Eve last night, it was a wonderful evening! We enjoyed the atmosphere and the kids had their own entertainment organised too! The place is magnificent, the service was great. The staff are so kind, helpful and friendly. I would definitely go back, … Happy New Year 2019!

Lovely hotel, really beautiful, would recommend it but it has a very laid back feel. For instance, there was no one serving at the bar so we had to go and ask at reception, but then they were more than happy to help us. A good base for exploring the lakes if you have a car.

Very pleasant and responsive staff. Building and garden very nice especially given the age of the place. A small effort however on the gym which although it is equipped, the equipment deserves a revision and it lacks a floor mat. Otherwise very good stay.

Beautiful place that needs a lot of care to earn its 4 star status. Significant improvements in facilities and services are required for it to become a great hotel. Would not recommend as a place to stay at this moment.

Charming and romantic Italian Villa set in well kept gardens. The staff were pleasant and accommodatng, food excellent and rooms comfortable. Highly recommended!

Was very good many years ago, but some parts of the hotel now need to be renovated, like the parking cover or the bathrooms. Try to get a room in the main house! Food is excellent and service too. There is a bar, open daily until 11pm and a few good restaurants within a 15 min drive. Aside, not much to do in Varese, a city which has seen better days.

Beautiful hotel, both indoor and outdoor facilities, spacious and clean rooms. Very courteous and efficient staff both at the reception and in the dining room. Great buffet breakfast and chance to have a second round of the first at dinner (half board) … The only flaw was the dinner served too late at 20:45, both on the first evening that we got to the table at 20:15, and the next evening we were assured that they would start at 20:30… Having a competitive rowing team in tow I would surely have preferred to dine at 19:30… And Friday night tiramisu wasn't good at all.

Beautiful location, elegant, well-kept and refined. Extremely nice and friendly waiters without being pushy. A magical place that is worth it even just for the atmosphere. Considering that even on the rest we are on excellent levels, recommended!

I was at the villa for a dinner/university event and the evening was very nice overall. Location Beautiful, we had a table outside with crazy view. Recommended for such events.

We went to dinner where I wanted somewhere quiet and dined just like that: right lights, nice and cozy table, warm environment. The staff at the height of the villa obviously and the food by enchantment, thank you!

We reserved a private room at the restaurant for my husband’s birthday lunch. It was a great experience. The service was attentive. They serve delicious and authentic Italian food. It’s dog friendly!

Nineteenth-century Villa immersed in nothing. Nice place with a history and its problems. The villa is nice well kept and very large. Ideal for a short stay, also because there are no special attractions nearby. Inexpensive, especially the menu they offer is to be reviewed. Great breakfast with good products, the coffee is bad. Besides, it's not Naples. Clean and spacious rooms.

Nice structure, old, well kept. Room 221 nice and functional, clean and with nice view. Receptionist courteous and Francis cute, helpful and prepared. Great breakfast.

Very nice hotel located in old villa. Room was nice and clean, very comfortable and spacious. Good looking garden with nice view outside. This place has free big parking space, gym, pool and Wi-Fi connection. Breakfast was good enough but without unnecessary splendor. Staff are nice and friendly.

Very quiet Hotel, friendly and elegant atmosphere, very nice and helpful staff, generous and varied breakfast, very large parking, small gym, but equipped. Restaurant with refined cuisine, but very appreciated.

Okay with the offer we had. We were three people staying in a room. Plenty of space, but they replaced our towels and only left two, and then seemed oddly reluctant to gives us a third towel (we had booked and paid for all three people).

Great hotel. I you're not an animal lover, don't be put off by all the dog photos on the sites. It is pet friendly but also friendly to humans! Rooms were very clean, breakfast was ok, location is good andc service was friendly.

The hotel looks empty, very little service. No sunbeds at the pool. There is no bar. Rooms nice, spacious.

The place is a very beautiful 1800-century style hotel. It the rooms are great, especially for families. The breakfast is also good and the pool is nice. The view is fantastic as it is located up in the mountain near the city of Varese.

Nice Hotel. Old of cause, but that is what it should be since this is a historical building. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern though still kept in old style. Only thing not so good. Since it is part of the Accor Group it should also be part of their Le Club Accor but it's not. Why don't they want to acknowledge loyal customers?

This is a great hotel, just far enough out of the town of Iduno Olano but within easy reach if you need it. The rooms are comfortable and set apart from the main building which houses reception and the restaurant. Food in the restaurant is good and there is always a hearty breakfast each morning. If you prefer to eat outside of the hotel though, there are a few restaurants but they all need you to drive there. The local Pizzeria and Trattoria offer good food but in my opinion they're quite expensive. Access to the local countryside and scenery is good but you will need a car for getting about. Lake Maggiore is about a 40 minute drive and well recommended. Other sites close by are Lake Vasare, Cascate di Ferrera (waterfall) and, a personal favourite, the Lindt chocolate outlet is definitely worth a visit. If there is a criticism and it's a very small one it is that the drinks at breakfast (i. E. Tea and coffee) are practically tepid, relying on water from an urn rather than a kettle. If you ask the staff for boiling water they will bring it for you. As I say, it's a small point butnInwant tea and coffee to be hot, not warm. Staff everywhere have been helpful at all times.

First of all, fire safety is failure is not working. The fire doors are blocked by wedges.
In addition, the buildings are poorly soundproofed, it is impossible to relax and rejuvenate in this hotel. During our stay of 3 nights we had the right to two weddings and a windy night with the parable on the roof that made noise all night.
The quality of the household is deplorable, the limestone is everywhere in the bathroom, but also on the glasses served at the bar.
In clear, the routine maintenance in this hotel is no longer assured.

Good hotel in beautiful period building. Facilities a little ageing but exceptional area and appreciable for a good night!

To avoid absolutely, rude, incompetent and idle staff. Breakfast almost non-existent, shower in very poor condition, extremely long waiting time in the restaurant.

Italian nostalgic, romantic, daring. The service could be better. The bar, eg. Was not occupied room a mess of fitness and a mess. Even positive to describe it — daring.

Typical italian mansion with a very good style and a good looking garden, plenty parking place, very kind personnel and good accessibility complete the location. We stay there for a celebration lunch: the food was high level and tasty, not perfect but good. Table service was ok during all the launch. We stayed in a room with plenty space for 30 people and it was one of the small ones.

Villa caratteristica, nel verde, con ampio giardino e parcheggio. Spazi curati, cibo abbondante e gustoso. Servizio discreto.

Beautifull hotel, I mean little casttle. BUT if you book the room through BOOKING, the staff does not care about you (no visit, no presentation. Moreover, the breakfast is not satisfactory at all. The fruit juces are industrial, and the coffee machine provide a disgusting coffee. It is not a four stars.

Beautiful property, that the heart of every "Tuscany-German" beat. Everything is already very strong in the years to come, but it has Flair, and the prices are desahlb very moderate.

Hôtel very elegant. The cosy restaurant of good quality. Recommended if you are here for work.
