Hotel with priceless views of the village of Lemon and the lake. Staff friendly and helpful. Reserved parking space. Breakfast in the norm. Rooms not very large but comfortable. Ideal for a couple's long weekend.

We returned after a short stop in April and I see that our expectations have not been disappointed.
Hotel, maybe a little to get old, but always very clean in all the spaces. The pool is well maintained, as are the outdoor spaces; breakfast always very plentiful and really for all tastes.
A strong point is the competence and kindness of the staff, always available and ready to listen to the needs of guests.

For me, the most beautiful hotel in Limone of the beautifully nestled pool invites you to sunbathe in the middle of the historic old town. Breakfast is impeccable today looking forward to our next stay.

Excellent location with lovely views, great plentiful breakfast, extremely helpful staff and amazing pool. They make you park in a garage in the town which is not so convenient… and the hotel needs renovation.

Nice place Although the access to the parking is a little unhappy because it is just behind the gallery. However once in the room you open a spectacular view to the lake view the dominant Position. C is also the private swimming pool and direct access to the old town characterized by characteristic streets.

The Castell is beautifully located in the mountain and has many rooms. Most of the rest is in the 5 rooms above the roof, each equipped with a large terrace. Clothes for a week are just to be accommodated.
For this, the pool, the nice team, but above all the steps that will take you directly to the port and the many shops.

The staff were very helpful Quiet place with a breathtaking view. Clean and easy to get to either by car or on foot.

We stayed for four nights in a nice room. View is terrific on the town of Limone and Lake Garda with the view of the mountains in the background.
Room was clean. Beds could be harder. Wireless internet was not up to the top of the room. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Staff was also very friendly. Attention: Parking is very narrow and limited. The walk from the hotel to the city is within walking distance of numerous steps.

Based on the balcony and views over the lake toward the mountains it's 5 stars all the way. Unfortunately… It is nigh-on impossible to get to if you if you arrive on the bus from Dessenzano. You cannot walk along the main road to the hotel as the pavement ends and the road disappears off through a tunnel. There are, unhelpfully, no instructions (I assume for precisely this reason) on how to get to the hotel on foot, only via car. From chatting to the receptionist, the only way to actually get there on foot is through the town and up a steep hill, 2 sets of steps, scuttle off down an alley, up some steel steps, shuffle through the pool area and up more stairs to what is clearly the back of the hotel. Come on, that's unrealistic with luggage, even I struggled and I'm still young and healthy! It's a liberty to suggest that's viable; it's not a route tot he hotel, it just happens to lead to the back of it. To summarize, we had to pay €10 to go 50 meters through the tunnel to the car park outside reception (even if you were driving here the car park is tiny! ) after wondering around aimlessly for a while. Moving on, the rooms are small but, if like us you don't spend much time cooped up in them on holiday anyway, they are fine. The walls are paper thin though, so if you have a family next door with a baby, don't expect any sleep. (As an aside, and I'd never deduct a mark if they didn't, but the staff spoke impeccable English. )

Loved it loved it loved it. Limone is called the honey pot of Lake Garda and is stunningly beautiful — will definitely be returning. Hotel Castell was a warm home from home and a perfect location with truly mind boggling views across the lakes and mountains — I've travelled a fair bit and been to Italy a few times but Limone is special and is now my new favourite place on this planet. Bellissimo.

Outside UI, you fie.
Partly not air-conditioned. In the shower does not even fit a 1, 87m and 80kg man in.
It takes a misunderstanding with the unfriendly staff at the reception. Man gets his bail back only after a multiple call. Beverage vending machines are defective, evening purely down money you get NICJT back. Very few parking spaces at the hotel, so that man has to park hundreds of meters further in the parking garage.
Breakfast is OK, there the staff is very nice.
Many paths are blocked from the center to the hotel. Signage is missing completely, very high risk of being lost.
Absolutely no recommendation.

Fabulous view, however, has the disadvantage that up to the place 97 steps are to go. The staff is very friendly.

Second visit here from the UK. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean tidy and cater to our needs. Pool and views are excellent. Will be back again!

Hotel in a particular location but still convenient for a quick stay. You get there easily in the center, with a bit of walking uphill. Great rooms and polite staff.

Lovely hotel, views over Lake Garda. We have a slightly small room and 2 single beds for a couple. BUT, friendly staff and views to live for.

Great location and great views of the Lake. Room clean and fragrant. Only down fall Tv. The first channels are in German. Italian channels are at the end. We are in Italy.

I spent the period from 16/08 to 8/21/2009 at the Castell, the service and friendliness of the staff were excellent, the view from the rooms is impeccable.
The ideal place for those who want to relax and live their holidays in full relax. Excellently connected to surrounding countries where you can play sports (by bike or bike, windsurfing, kitesurfing, etc. ), in addition to the village (Limone sul Garda) did not have to take the car as there is a chance to take the elevator and external ladders that lead directly into the town and the public beach.
