An easier evening, restaurant for excellence.

I was at this property for a dinner. An elegant setting, with a large parking lot stormed, where quality and service was a surprise. A surprise like the welcome sparkling wine and in addition to a piece of super thin and crunchy focaccia also a taste from the kitchen: a small crispy cannolet with chestnut flour stuffed with pesto. As a first a plate of pansotti in two: delicious, with a very thin dough and a room with sauce of nuts slightly winged but very delicate, of great balance. As a second we opted for the new, that is small cuttlefish, stewed on potato cream: very good and unexpected and interesting the contrast given by lemon zest in potato cream. For this dish the price a little too high (33th! ) Along with the coffee then a piece of thin focaccia, type Recco, but filled with orange jam: a super welcome surprise, with the crispy focaccia and the soft and bitter jam. Accounts in hand: A first, a second (expensive), a water, two coffees. More entree than welcome with sparkling wine and sweet focaccia included, about 70 euros. Overall it may seem like a lot, but since we divided in two, 35 euros for the quality of the raw materials, the execution and the flavor of dishes, the kind service (despite having arrived directly from the sea with disheveled hair, in shorts and sandals), really good value for money.

Food was very good and fresh with quality ingredients but size of portions was a little bit small.

To judge him better I would have needed more time, but the Hotel La Villa Manuelina seemed really good to me.

This hotel, and the family that runs it, boast a long experience and tradition among the most appreciated of the Gulf of Tigullio. The peculiarity that distinguishes it is the fact that the building (and the dependencies) are perfectly integrated in the characteristic architecture of the towns overlooking the sea of Liguria, respecting every aspect, up to the colors of the painting, So much to be almost invisible to those who do not know it. Appreciable is also the love for the characteristic flora of the specific Mediterranean scrub of this extraordinary Italian region and the ability to make it ornament and integrate it into architecture. In the best rooms it is evident the attention for certain important details, such as the linen, the furnishings, the bathroom sets. The hospitality extends to the free Wi-Fi, like the parking, to the beautiful panoramic terrace, to the outdoor swimming pool. The restaurant respects the expectations of the Ligurian culinary tradition and offers the service also in the room. I always found pleasant the welcome and the stop in this structure, so much to travel sometimes a few kilometers more.

Great dinner! Recommended the restaurant. It costs the quality it has, certainly not suitable for any dinner for those who can not afford it, but if you have a special occasion is Straconsigliato!

Full service starting from the hotel, cared for in every detail, to finish at the restaurant or at the Focacceria, same splendid management. To return.

Experience, professionalism, hygiene, cordiality and beside the delicious Manueline cuisine in a refined and elegant atmosphere. All this makes me recommend the hotel also equipped with swimming pool and gym.

A four star hotel with a broken grip next to the bed I am blown away and a burnt light as well. The rooms are modern well equipped maybe a little small. The little balcony on the lawn. The breakfast room is windowless and a little small but the breakfasts are pleasant. The coffee a bit ' slow ' more American than expressed but the quality of the food very good. To re-evaluate in full season when it will be possible to exploit the pool and a attention to details more from "full season"

The hotel is located in Recco near Genoa, then a good location to reach the aquarium of Genoa. The hotel has all the comforts and a convenient and free parking thing not easy to find in that area.

Terrible food quality, excellent focaccia but otherwise a horror.
Almost tasteless appetizers with a terrible presence of vinegar in cappon magro and freshly pulled out of the freezer.
Potatoes acetate in old pasta trofie with pesto, acid and bos2n with measly stuffing accompanied by a mediocre Walnut Sauce.
Good ice cream, impossible to define chocolate soufflé cake deflated and compact inside.
Impossible to define cassata a form of ricotta chocolate chip with a bit of candied fruits as decoration.
Cassata has chocolate chips and diced candied fruit in ricotta custard and is COVERED with frosting!
Three chocolate mousse as hard as stones.
There were 5 of which a chef from Liguria, a Brazilian Cook, a Sicilian chef, a French maitre d ' and the owner of a restaurant in Paris.
We were all upset about is the night that the poor Lady, the next day.
We paid 230 € and none of us took wine bottle or full plate but small glimpses to split.

Clean, quiet, accessible, location a bit away from the Centre, with pool (a little girl and a great) and internal parking, good breakfast, very kind both receptionists, 10% discount, room Sky channels in the Focacceria behind the Hotel. Some aspects to consider: the rooms are smallish, the Wi-Fi worked very slowly, the price is a little high. In my opinion it is not a 4 star hotel. Still a hotel to be aware of.

I stayed one night on the occasion of the feast of fish in Camogli. Certainly very quiet secluded location in relation to the Centre of the Recco. The breakfast is acceptable and Nice staff. The rooms are comfortable but a little small without of course (see location) a nice Visual. Have all the necessary facilities and satellite TV. Recommended for a short stay. Internal parking.
