The hotel in a great location if you want to visit the center of Genoa! As soon as we arrived we received a warm welcome from the staff who were very helpful. Very spacious room with a balcony that overlooks the square I ask for a pleasant view!

In the middle of the city, clean, competent staff, kind and helpful.
Breakfast is great and hearty.
I've been coming for two years and I highly recommend it.

An extremely pleasant night's stay. Very comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Full breakfast of everything… from sweet to salty. Very clean room. One step away from the center and the aquarium. We will definitely be back.

Not a hotel you would like to sleep, rooms are very very small and there is no window with natural light. Rooms have neon light, cold light. Breakfast is very nice but that’s about it.

I have stayed since 3.8 to 5.8.2018. The rooms and bathroom are good for a three star. The staff were very friendly and always helpful.
The lady Cristina in charge of hospitality is always smiling and full of attention.
I was satisfied and recommend it!

Hotels near the Ancient Port are well placed for visiting the aquarium and surrounding attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It has a comfortable garage service, our room was very large the bathroom a bit small. Great breakfast with bar service. I highly recommend it.

Small but cozy hotel near all the city highlights. Parking is included but you do have to give up your car keys due to limited space in the carpark. The bedroom was nice and very clean. Breakfast was great with a nice selection of pastries.

In Genoa has been my reference hotel for at least 6 years now. For me, lodge in Genoa means to come here. Comfortable at everything! Clean and friendly staff But very kind and always with a smile. The interiors year after year, a little at a time, they're updating them… But I was fine even before honestly. Crazy comfort for buses (uphill and downhill in front of the hotel) and the train station at 5 minutes maximum. Before the end of the summer I will go back to the aquarium… Just to make no mistake.

In Genoa has been my reference hotel for at least 6 years now. Convenient to everything, clean and very kind staff. In fact the rooms would need a restiling… but that's fine too.

It is located in a very convenient area to access the aquarium, too bad for the area a bit shady especially in night time. The hotel is very old, little cared for the bedrooms and the bathroom, dirty, dusty and full of insects that come up from the sinks and the shower, it is a pity because the staff is very friendly because they changed room without problem, pity that even the latter Room was always dirty and poorly cared for with some furnishings that were broken.

The rush to get paid and to have the data for the invoice is not very nice… for the rest good place, clean, services OK, breakfast OK. Garage a bit far from the hotel.

The positive note is that it is about 10 minutes walk from the ancient port of Genoa and consequently from the aquarium and Old town. We had a problem the first night with the room that was left by a smoker, something unwelcome for us with two kids. Complained, in the morning we were changed all the linen and curtains and cleaned thoroughly, returned was perfect. International breakfast. Courteous staff is helpful. Good quality price for a tourist town.

Although it was the first time I stayed here, as soon as I entered I was immediately greeted with the smile and right from the start they showed very kind and very helpful regarding my needs the hotel Helvetia has a breakfast to say the least exceptional always Fresh food well cared for, huge croissants, great local cheese coffee and much, much more. Having to do in the city and being on foot, they provided me with free baggage storage service, which was a huge relief, since it was raining outside and I had to travel many kilometers.
Clean, free water in the room in the minibar, I would say everything looked after professionally!
All very nice from the night porter, waiters, reception and owners. I hope to see you again soon! A hug!

Found a good offer, I discovered a well put hotel. If the location is good, because not far from Piazza Principe and next to the center, not far from the old port, with bus stops close by; But there is traffic confusion and nice guys who are shouting under the windows until late.
But the hotel is good, the staff accurate and helpful, the room clean, the breakfast sufficiently assorted for the category. Good bathroom amenities: But the toilet jammed under the sink cries revenge.

I was in this hotel during the Christmas season and I was more than happy with the choice! Perfect location: Very close to the aquarium and the main roads. Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was a little small but absolutely functional. The breakfast is plentiful and varies. I recommend it absolutely!

We spent the weekend in Genoa to visit the Aquarium…! The hotel is very nice, we enjoyed it very much. From the room we had a nice view of the square. Very good breakfast Very close to the aquarium, walking distance. Garage. Possibility of luggage storage. I recommend… To return.

I stayed two weeks ago with my wife and our baby, we really enjoyed it. Great location, prices all in all contained, hotel not new but kept well and clean. A welcome to the receptionist Cristina, very kind and very polite. Recommended.

It is an essential environment in every sense, but it is clean. The staff are friendly and polite. Also the hotel is in a central location.

On the edge of the old town of genoa. Incredibly old hotel with modern inspiration. Tiny rooms and dwarf beds. My room location was a bit bad. Anyway, didn't complain. Free internet although lagging service sometime. Complimentary water supply which is good. Breakfast is simple but liked the coffee machine.

Situated on the edge of the old town the hotel was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and was good with a wide variety of options. Nightly rate was very reasonable.

The Hotel is in a great location not far from the Piazza Principe railway station and not far from the old port.
Although the building that was once the hotel is dated, the locals are still functional and above all clean.
Great buffet breakfast, with fresh and good quality food and drink.

Great location but the room I was given later than 14 despite I was notified of the time of my arrival and I had a little girl to sleep.
The floor of my room is all cracked and vibrates. Does not have a car park but just a convenience to 16 € per day.

Very good location, nice hotel right on the historic old town situated and close to the harbour. Hotel has an external parking garage. For arrival by car be sure to book. The Park Service is while getting used to but to recommend ;) I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Awful, avoid this hotel. In my room was the hole in a roof.

This hotel has been in operation for hundreds of years, and it's the most bizzare hotel I've ever seen. Rooms are decent, with good views at the front. No internet in the rooms. No parking onsite, very little parking nearby. 6/10
