I am not sure what “Relais Borgo Gentile” translates to in the English language, but I am certain it has something to do with being in Heaven❤️. Because our stay here was just that… heavenly!
I don’t even know where to begin!
The grounds: The buildings themselves look like they are from the old country, but they are in fact very new. So you feel the quaintness of the country, but the amenities are modern and top-of-the-line. The absolute best building materials have been used, and the level of cleanliness is unlike any I have seen throughout our travels. Impeccable!
The grounds and the surrounding views are breathtaking. There is nothing more stunning than the color of the Tuscan sun, as it begins to set. We watched it set each night as we ate dinner in the dining room. Just wonderful!
The food: OH MY GOSH! The best and freshest homemade meals we’ve ever had, and everything is 100% gluten free! We got so spoiled by the quality and flavors of the food here, that the remainder of our trip, in other towns, was actually a bit of a letdown. The variety of the different dishes for both breakfast and dinner, was incredible. New things to try each day. Just wow!
The people: you will not find friendlier people. Trust me. Antonio, Sabrina and Martina instantly made us feel at home, the moment we arrived. They feel like family. They couldn’t do enough for us, and we looked forward each night to our after-dinner chats with them. Good, good people.
