What a great find! Very clean and comfortable. The rooms are pretty spacious with very nice bathrooms. The rooftop restaurant and bar has great views of Rome. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Close to Termini train station in an area with plenty of restaurants. Would definitely come back here.

Barbecue evening on the roof. Very good meat and pleasant atmosphere with a view of Rome accompanied by live music.

Everything is perfect about our stay, the room is spacious they gave us free upgrade. The rooftop restaurant has a beautiful views of city skyline. The food from restaurant is delicious. The only issue is that sound-proof is not so good, you can hear people chatting or laughing next door.

The Terrace is Top in the capital, lovely place, not to mention the service, truly impeccable, professional and polite staff. The food is exquisite, delicacies carefully served and prepared. The Price a Bit altino? Absolutely not, around Rome you can spend much more for much less. Of Course It's not a coupon club.

This is a great hotel. Conveniently located near the Termini. The staff are extremely helpful and the breakfast is one of the best I have had.

Great hotel, nice and clean with OK sized rooms. It is just 2 minutes walk from Termini (central station) with Metro that takes you to the tourist sites. If you prefer taxi, the front desk gets you one in minutes, even for families of 5. Colosseum is walking distance (20 minutes), the Vatican is approx €15 in taxi. The staff is super friendly. There is nothing that can’t be done. Front desk, housekeeping, rooftop terrace staff — all great. Air con was very efficient and silent. Also we did not notice any street noise. Wi-Fi everywhere although it was very slow and cannot be used for streaming (less than 1 mbps). Breakfast was good with most of what you expect. Parts of the rooftop was a bit noisy from electrical appliances (probably air con units — it was nicely hidden). All in all a great experience. Recommended.

Nice hotel with a dining area and terrace on the roof. Staff are great and rooms are modern, clean and spacious with good bedding and amenities. The hotel has an arrangement with Diana's Place, the restaurant next door, where to food is great and can be served in your room. The only downside is the location. Not very picturesque but if you don't mind a walk to the sights and the old town it's not a problem.

Perfect location with short walk from train station. Room is neat and have plenty space. We got an upgrade to an even bigger room which was beyond our expectation. We will definitely stay at this hotel again for our next visit. Cons: there might be some noise from the street if you get a room facing street; however it's not a big deal.

I found myself happy to have an aperitif, great view of live music, nice staff. The only drawback is the food. Good but little choice for what you pay for.

Really helpful and courteous staff. They even offered to hold my luggage for a couple of days as we were visiting other places in Italy. Can't beat the location.

Equipped with a bidet and a bath you could almost swim in, the shower keeps up the standard, magnificent! The staff are incredibly friendly and inviting and could not do more to make your stay enjoyable. Highly recommend staying.

We had a wonderful stay at The Independant. Rooms were clean and very modern. Rooftop Garden was beautiful! Being close to Roma Termini and metro station made it very easy to get around.

Staff was outstanding, hotel had great rooms. The deck had a marvelous view. The view at night of Rome was amazing. I would highly recommend this Hotel. Thank you Independent staff!

Staff is great, hotel is very clean, breakfast selection is super. Couldn't ask for a better view than what the roof top deck offers! The deck was the best place to have drinks and admire the amazing city of Rome at the end of a long day. Highly recommend. Hope to return again.

I arrived two days before opening their doors. No I went ahead, workers were delayed. Some rooms were not mounted, strove to have our lists as we were coming and the truth, despite some specific detail, the trim of the plugs, some shade, etc. All were made. The only thing that has no arrangement is the tiny dining room of also tiny breakfast. I don't know if it still failing the elevator, there is only one, to eight plants, insufficient.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, eating breakfast on the roof, looking at the beautiful scenery of Rome, is best way to start the day. Elevator is very small, very slow, but we are also very happy to take the stairs. The staff here is very good, very friendly and helpful. We're going to go on the cruise ship did not arrive on time when port, Manager Pietro Moretti and here Cosimo to make every effort to help our party of eight. We didn't encounter any problems here. Stayed at the Independent Hotel for one night in January 2016, as it was extremely close to Termini and boasted a very nice design selection and featured a skytop bar. I arrived later at night, and the staff, headed by Nicola and Juan Carlos, did an exceptional job at taking care of me and my guests. They were the first experience/points of contact I had in Rome, and they couldn't have been better. Very professional, very accommodating, and represented the city of Rome very well. The rooms were clean, well put together, and beautiful. The breakfast in the morning was delicious — and the view even better. If this hotel was placed elsewhere, I would look no further! Simply the best value for it's side of town.

I stayed there from 22 to 28 June 2013 and I found this hotel really perfect and at the height of its stars. The staff was courteous, considerate and kind. Moreover, it is located next to Termini station, which is very convenient! Really, I have only good words for this hotel! If I return to Rome, it is where I want to go back! Excellent value.

The personal of the hotel always friendly and willing to lend you helps, both in reception as in the breakfast.
Train, subway and bus less than a minute.
Ultimately, four star justified. I'll be back.
