Amazing customer service and clean rooms. The issues I found were the shower has no door or curtain and water goes all over the floor. There is virtually no sound proofing in the rooms. I can hear the front desk and all other rooms as if there were no walls at all. All of the doors were undercut a few centimetres which I imagine was part of the sound issue. The rooms electrical shuts off when you leave the room making it impossible to charge electronics when you leave the room.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Rome River Inn. Clean and comfortable, spacious room. Manuel and the other desk attendants gave great recommendations on restaurants and places to see. Included breakfast was delicious with good variety. Perfect location to walk to all the sites. Would send all my friends and family here. Thanks RRI!

Bad! Never been in a more shabby and bleak b&b, commercial dissatisfaction compounded by the squalor of the lobby, the room, the building. Grate as in a prison on the sofa windows with stains in a suite, panorama across the grates on the road with car. The photos don't match the rooms at all for how they actually look. Absolute desolation. Never again.

Truly one of the best places I have ever stayed in. The staff here is extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. It is close many sites and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here.

The only thing unpleasant about our stay was it took us a few minutes to find the Inn. It isn't clearly marked, just look for the number and the name is on the buzzer. Once we were in it was great. The front desk was supurb. They checked us in then gave us their local tips and tricks for Rome including their recommendations for visiting the tourist sites and "non-touristy" restaurants. We ended up almost following their itinerary to a tee with only a few detours from our local friends. They were also very helpful setting up transportation to FCO for our early morning flight. Location was pleasant, almost halfway between Vatican and the Colosseum. We had planned on doing a hop-on hop-off bus but decided against it. Ended up being a lot of walking but manageable. I would for sure stay here again if we visit in the future.

Lovely little hotel in fantastic location for exploring Rome. Nice spacious room which was clean and well equipped with a nice bath and shower. Romantic upgrade arranged with hotel was well worth it for celebrating our anniversary!

Professionalism is the first thing that comes to mind, followed by kindness and shrewdness in the ways by the staff! We always come back willingly, congratulations.

Modern and clean with spacious rooms, close to the river but a little far from main spots in Rome.

We like the place and people is very friendly. The only thing is that you can not open the windows because is so noisy outside and the aircoonditioner is not working is manage by them… so you don't have oxygen coming in, the rest is good.

Greatly positioned, clean, informal but substantively managed! Great place for a stop in the center of Roma Eterna.

My wife and I spent 4 days here and absolutely loved the atmosphere… The room was not too small not too big, staff was friendly and very helpful… Breakfast was awesome! Will be going back.

Excellent service, clean, comfortable, and the best complimentary breakfast I ever had. Location is pretty good too — close to Vatican and Piazza Navona, and bus stops nearby to take you to the other tourist destinations.

The staff are excellent, very helpful and gave us lots of useful information, a map and recommended an excellent restaurant (The Scala on Trestivere I think). The room was very clean and spacious. The location is great, within walking distance of all the major sites.

The staff are fantastic. Extremely engaging and helpful. They all converse in great English 'speak' and assist in anyway possible to make your stay extremely enjoyable. Can't speak highly enough of them. BTW — the rooms are very nicely appointed. You won't be disappointed. Ken & Trisha (Australia).

Super hotel for those who want to look around in the city of Rome. All sights are within walking distance. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast offers a medium range high provides products and the staff is very friendly. Just sleep with an open window is not possible due to the enormous traffic noise. When the window is closed but we don't hear and there is air conditioning.

The Rome River Inn greatly exceeded our expectations. Our room was cleaned to perfection everyday of our five night stay. The breakfast choices were fresh baked pastries, fruits, meats, cheeses and fruit juices. The hotel also provided cappuccino and teas. The staff was very kind, courteous and knowledgeable.
If we were to return the Rome River Inn would be my first phone call in planning our trip!
We wish the owners and staff continued growth and success.
