Hotel Sileo Hotel

The hotel is comfortable, clean, affordable, and in a nice location, which, on its own, already is a sign of a good hotel. What really distinguishes Sileo from anywhere else is the feeling of being at home while you are there. The owners, Alessandro and Maria, do not speak much English, but their humorous gesticulations will allow you to get the gist. If you are feeling conversational, they will be happy to give you advice on which transportation to use, sights to see, etc. Tell you stories, and tell you a bit about themselves and about their accomplished daughters, Ana, who helps manage the hotel, and Stefania, who is an artist (she created a few of the pieces of beautiful art displayed around the hotel). Many hotels strive to achieve to make you feel like you are at home, but few hotels can make you feel more at home than Sileo. If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience, look no further than Hotel Sileo, a hotel fully deservant of its glowing recommendation from Rick Steves, who is widely considered the leading authority on European travel for Americans.

The owner are great the location is great to get to all the sites.

Good value. Even Rick Steves recommends staying here. Rooms are dated but clean. Wifi is very weak depending on which room you get (we stayed here twice). The hotel is managed by an elderly couple who don't speak English and keep everything in cash and a paper diary. Location is great as it is 5mins walk to Termini.
