The worst hotel in the world. Poorest service I've seen in my life.

Great central location. Updated and came recommended by Rick Steves so you know it’s the perfect choice. Nothing bad to write about our 3 day stay. We enjoyed it bery much and would stay here again.

Started our Rick Steves tour early at the tour hotel. His tour group has used it for over 20 years. Nice staff, good bathroom, reasonably spacious for a European hotel room, centrally located and a 15 minute walk from Termini, the central Rome train Station. Many eating establishments nearby from a slice of pizza to a full 4 course dinner. Metro stop 2-3 blocks away. Would stay here again.

This hotel with their helpful staff and recommendations has made my first time in Italy a great experience!

When I arrived outside I thought oh no. However it is important not to judge the book by its cover, this hotel is a gem. Will definetly stay again.

The accommodations are moderate. Rick Steve's stayed here. The rooms and facilities are extraordinary clean and well taken care of. And the staff is wonderful and then, dating. That is wonderfully friendly and accommodating. That is wonderfully friendly and accommodating.

Very impressed with this hotel. We saw it on a Rick Steve's PBS show for Rome, Italy. Loved this quaint hotel. Extremely friendly staff and location made this a great memory and stay for me and my wife. Would definitely book this hotel over and over when visiting Rome. This hidden gem was our home for a week! Staff was very nice and helpful. Near bus and metro. Many restaurants around as well. Will definitely be back!

Very nice hotel. The hotel is on the 3rd floor, but there is a lift in the center hallway. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room we had was clean and neat. It was a great set up for us as we had our four year old son with us. The location is good, near many restaurants, shops, and train station.

On our recent trip to Rome we had the pleasure of staying at the Oceania. In fact, we enjoyed it so much we ended up staying there twice for a total of 15 nights. Our room and en suite bathroom was large, well kept and quiet. The cleaning staff did a great job every day and when I was fighting a bit of a cold they volunteered extra pillows to prop me up so I could watch TV. The TV had the option on several channels that would switch to original language giving me breaks from my trying to learn Italian. The breakfast is a basic continental that got the job done with excellent coffee. The staff of Kyra, Anna, Cristine and Roberto were friendly and very helpful when in need. We liked the Hotel Oceania so much we started to refer to it as our Home in Rome and would definitely stay there again. I do have to admit one thing I wished for was a toaster in the breakfast room. Although I do understand that finding a place for it would be difficult. All in all we've stayed at more expensive places and received much less. If you're on a budget like we were, this is an excellent choice.

Clean and comfortable place in the central part of Rome. Recommend. The hotel is fully justified value for money. The breakfast was good.

Hotel well located, close to the Trevi Fountain (10 min walk), and the central station Termini (10 min also). Rooms spacious but soundproofing average whether with the street or the hallway. The bathroom is well equipped but the ceiling paint cracked and fell slightly into the shower. Original hotel because occupies a floor of an old building, it feels a little frozen in the past.

On the third floor if an old building, the staff is nice and helpful. The rooms are nice but a few extras would help as heating in winter. Breakfast is nice and continental. It's in a very secure area and really close to the main attractions. All in all gives a pleasant base for discovering the city.

Excellent Option for a great price. Location is excellent for walking to most tourist attractions and close to the metro that takes you to the Vatican. The service was great and the rooms nice enough with air conditioning. Recommend it.

There is an elevator, that I swear took us to the wrong floor twice. The rooms are nice, the doors and keys need some updating. The bathroom was nice, with a lovely shower. Cable tv, which after a long hot day in Rome, was actually a comfort. It is in a lovely location, you can walk to the metro station, or down the hill to the Forums and Victor Emanuel; however that uphill walk back, sucks the life out of you.

The location was wonderful and the style of the hotel completely fit the city! It is not fancy, but very comfortable and authentic (the bathrooms were updated recently to a more modern style). The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the pastries at breakfast were absolutely delicious! I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Rome!

Very good hotel, great location. You're just a few blocks away from the train station, and just about 10 minutes away from the main historic attractions in Rome. You can find places closer to the historic district, and you can find places closer to the train, but Oceania offers great options for both! You can tell that they cater to tourists: rooms are very nice, the hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly. We needed to do laundry, and the bathroom was a great size to do that in. It really has everything that you need in a hotel, and they are very accommodating. They also have a 24 hr concierge service, which is really nice. Few things to note: 1) The elevator is tiny, but they DO have one! 2) You can elect to stay there pre-paying for breakfast, or you can pay for 15 Euros per room. I recommend not pre-paying, because there are plenty of great cafes very close to choose from. 3) The hotel is located a bit off the beaten path, and around many other hotels, so it's a nice walk, and I didn't ever feel unsafe.

Very disappointing. The room is dirty. The fabric walls are stained with what appears to be hand oil. One of our pillows reeks of body odor. No hot water… it's only lukewarm. We paid €144 and it isn't worth €50.

Amazing location. Shady elevator. Lovely rooms and staff.

Only good thing about it is the location. Everything in 2km radius of the hotel. Breakfast was most disappointing. Only bread and cornflakes. If you are Early then choose your uncut fruit.

Perfect place to stay while visiting Rome. We have stayed here twice and each time the value for money spent is great. Friendly helpful staff, excellent rooms and facilities and the location is perfect!

I loved this hotel. The staff is so warm and friendly. They accommodated my party of 3 quickly and efficiently. This is in Rome… it's European! The room was perfect. The entire hotel has European charm. I can't highly suggest staying here enough. The staff speaks English very well… no language barriers. When I booked the hotel I had some questions that were answered immediately. You get a lot for the price.

Stayed here based upon Rick Steves recommendation. Very nice family-run, small hotel with breakfast included. Central location. I will stay here whenever I visit Rome. Paid 129 euro (cash) for october dates and 100 euro for november. My wife also enjoyed our stay here.
