Given the price and since we are in Rome, deserves a nice vote.

Lady staff w/ long hair has a very stern/rude character. She didn't really clean the room well & removed one reserved toilet paper w/c we put in our room. How rude! Unprofessional! How she expected us 4 people to share w/ a scanty roll of toilet paper. Not a welcoming behavior! Needs more pleasant manners! Hot water is always very minimally "lukewarm", shower head doesn't really give off enough pressure, thus bathing makes longer than wanted. Toilet & washroom has a musty unpleasant smell, even if we spray the entire room, the musty odor stays. Hakf part of the closet smells of a rotten bug, some black droppings on the wood. We just kept it close shut, no help at all. Meanwhile, thanks for the Wi-Fi & decent fresh breakfast! Clean good smelling hallways. Why not the rooms too! Ok for us that staff couldn't speak English, but at least please be nice & don't show a sour face!

My single room was like a prison cell, it was a small box room and the shower wasn't very powerful. The place is very old fashioned and is on the 3rd floor of the building. The continental breakfast was nice and there was plenty of choice. The room was very clean and the beds and towels were changed daily. Staff were ok (not very smiley) and only one spoke English. It is handy for all the sights it about 1.5 km from the Trevi fountain and a short walk to the spanish steps.

This hotel gave me a very unpleasant birthday gift-sent us outside Wednesday night. Zabronirvannyj us the number given to others. Instead of apologies and help we laughed in the face when we showed the confirmation of the reservation. So be prepared to do that if you stay on your way.

Well located Hotel in quiet area near termini. Clean, good breakfast and very friendly staff. Recommended.

After sleeping 2 There was 5 the room was earlier pretty well there was a safe, air conditioning and a pretty good breakfast overall the reception was satisfying.

They did not want to open the door because they did not know about the booking already paid online through booking, owner absent. We had to call the Carabinieri, all at 10pm in the evening. Rude staff. Absolutely not!

More than positive experience: hotel spotless and staff friendly and helpful. Located in a good location with plenty of public transport and supermarkets nearby; Peaceful and quiet area and little busy street.

Ten minutes. Walk to Staz termini. Quiet Hotel. Clean. Very friendly. In three people in room with four beds and breakfast we paid in total X two nights 96 euro plus tax stay. Found offer on the Internet… place to recommend. Near via Veneto.

We were in Rome Septenber 2016. Everything was ok, the room was clean, breakfast was good and personal was friendly. The only thing, what didn´t cope, was that we left the postcards to Tomas to send them. My friens didn´t ever got the cards. Othervise Tomas was vonderful.

The host was very funny and explained everything you needed to know. The continental breakfast was delicious and filling. While the rooms were small and not fancy, they were perfect for travellers who would be out and about all day and spending little time in the room. Beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood was nice and quiet but the major sights and attractions weren't far to walk and the metro was close as well if you don't like walking. Even closer to the hotel were a few good restaurants. We particularly liked Punturi for lunch! Recommended.

I was really excited about this hotel. Thought I found an inexpensive gem. Wow, how was I wrong. First and foremost, the air conditioner barely even worked while we were there. And we went in July. We mentioned it to the owners/staff and they stated that a worker was coming out the next day to fix the ac. But we had a portable fan and so we grinned and bared it. The next day, after coming back from touring, we found that we lost our portable fan and no technician had come and fixed our ac. We were basically told we had to suffer. The rooms were also very cramped with little room to maneuver. My girlfriend and I had stayed 2 nights at another hotel, Hotel Angel, which was awesome and so we were used the rooms in Rome. But Hotel Ercoli was ridiculous. The bathroom was sketchy as well. No water pressure. A ceiling that was nothing more than a grate and a dark, recessed upper ceiling that could have housed who knows what was what we got to look up into! The water glass in the room was dirty and there was note on the wall asking us not to flush any toilet paper in the toilet and to throw any soiled toilet paper in the trash. Most shocking and a fact I didn't mention to my girlfriend was that when I used the community computer, I found bookmarks for pornographic sites. Who knows who put them there. But nevertheless, they were there. And finally, in the morning when we checked out, I asked one the staff members if he could mail my postcards with his mail.
