We stayed in a family suite which consisted of 2 rooms with their own bathrooms, doors and keys and a shared foyer. Mini Bar included and stocked every day. Very modern, clean and well appointed. Centrally located, walking distance to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Good breakfast.

Great amazing suites. One of the cleanest hotels I have stayed so far. The staff were sensational met every expectation. Would definitely return.

Stayed in the new suites section and it was lovely. Large, chic rooms, complementary mini-bar items, awesome location within walking distance to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps and the staff was top-notch. Would definitely book again for another trip to Rome.

Fantastic 4-star Hotel with an unbeatable location next to all of the major attractions… The breakfast was very nice too. Marco and Suraj at reception were very helpful. The Wi-Fi was super fast. Finally, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the MiniBar was free (beer and soft drinks only)

Our superior room is like a jail cell and is extremely noisy. This is the worst hotel room we’ve ever stayed. Despite no refund offered, we’ve moved to another place for our sanity. The alternative place which is 3 minutes away from this hotel, is 4 times bigger with full service including laundry service and kitchen. Needless to say, the alternative is $400 cheaper.

Perfect walking distance to all the major sights in Rome. The room was nice and the bathroom was awesome. Beer and water in the mini fridge was free too!

My husband and I stayed at the downtown Rome location in June 2018. We had nothing but praise for the Hotel & Staff. Great location, great breakfast and a great cup of morning coffee.

Great location, walking distance to the Termini Station and fountain Trevi. Rooms are pretty small for 4star hotel, breakfast so so for 4star as well. Service was ok.

A HORRIBLE experience at this hotel. Had to argue to get airport transfers already included in our room rates and actually printed on our confirmation with flight information. Our daughters did not show up and they finally put them in a tax 30 minutes late. They almost missed their flight. Front desk agent Lucious was beyond rude. Told us to "Figure it out" when we asked what time to be ready for airport transfers. Front desk refused to give us a copy of our check out invoice and told us to go print it ourselves on the hotel printer (which was occupied) or email the hotel. We couldn't get a copy until hours later and only after contacting our travel agent in the state. The front desk agent called us in our room YELLING because we had complained to inform us "He was too busy". Yeah, well we were busy trying to have a nice vacation. Wouldn't suggest anyone stay here. Rooms are deserving of possibly a 3 star at best. Service is a zero so the above rating is generous.

Very nice staff, clean and newly renovated rooms. The hotel is ideal for those who want to visit Rome as a tourist and for business trips. Recommended. I really enjoyed the fact that the rooms are quiet.

Great place! Clean & superb service. Facilities were updated. 5-10 mins walk to spanish steps. breakfast area space a bit tiny. No restaurant inside. Doesnt cater to other meals other than breakfast.

Loved staying at this place when we visited. This place felt very secure and luxurious.

All good apart from the tub which had a bit of mold on the edge…

Great hotel, all the attractions are close by, Piazza di Spagna 5 min walk, large and newly refurbished rooms, always courteous and caring staff, great Wi Fi, excellent breakfast and with homemade sweets, the barman Valerio La Vera star of the hotel Always friendly and thoughtful pantry tips to visit the city, the Metro and buses are in front of the hotel, and then on the official site there are offer Vantagiosissime.

Very nice hotel, small but very strategis, very good position.

The rooms are good.
The staff were very friendly and Pesimo and the breakfast was very good: today they were without bread, little variety of meals, they charge you the water, a table infima for four people.
I recommend it to spend few nights. For stays of more than 2 nights I would not recommend.

When we arrived to our room in the newer part of the hotel, there was so much noise during the night from the traffic outside we couldn't sleep. The next day we asked to move to a quiet room, they offered us a room in the older part of the hotel, around the corner, we chose a very quiet room, window facing an inside court, we slept like babies. True, the room style is more traditional European, while the newer section had lovely modern stylish rooms, and matress was super comfy. Breakfast is basic but nice. Staff is very nice and helpful. I recommend, but make sure to ask for a room not facing the main Street if you like a quiet night.

Not at all 4-star quality. The room is too small. The room itself is clean but quite old. The shower was broken when I arrived, but the staff fixed it when I came back again, so kudos to them. The breakfast is ok, their coffee is great. But still I think its overrated.

Nice hotel, location good near Metro and Via Veneto and shops. Checkin was not so friendly, and I do hate being given a single hog box room overlooking the back alley when I asked for a normal sized double room… the double is used by hotels to. Mean single. Breakfast was interesting… no toast and you had to ask for milk. Not sure I would return.

The hotel is good, but a little loud. We have a street-facing room and even with the windows sealed it is impossible to shut out the sound of trucks or sirens. But, the street quiets down late at night. No trouble sleeping! Water pressure in the shower is good and temperatures stay hot and there is ample space in the closets. The marble/granite floor in the bathroom is highly polished and extremely slippery if you have socks on. I nearly fall every time I use the bathroom. Overall I would definitely recommend the hotel to a friend. I just wish it was on a different street.

A beautiful hotel in central Rome. It's near Trevi Fountain, Il Coliseo, Monumento de la Patria. Within walking distance. Concierge, wonderful colazione, elevator. Hope to return. Also near metro subway.

Enjoyed our stay here in Rome! Beds are comfortable and the hotel is safe. Only critique is the odd set up check in is in a different non attached area than the rooms. It was a tad confusing for us. All in all would recommend in addition their complimentary breakfast was fabulous.

It's the second time I have stayed here. The staff are very polite and very accomodating. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable. The hotel is situated right in the centre of the city, so everything is in walking distance. I highly recommend this amazing hotel it feels like home away from home for me. Keep up the good work! The hotel staff and premises are exquisite. Will stay here again when back in Rome. The hotel is close to the metro as well as many of the major attractions. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

Classic boutique hotel, close to the Spanish Steps. Very well maintained and reasonably priced. Americans will of course find it a tight fit, but this is typical in old cities of Europe.

To return in the eternal city is always exciting and then if you stay in a hotel of quality as the Stendhal. The hotel is found to few footsteps of the subway and from different stops of bus, but in reality quite a lot historical and tourist attractions are by foot also Fountain of Trevi, P. Zza Of Spain, Trinità of the Mountains, piazza venezzia, the forum all is working distance from the hotel. In fact my companion and I have appreciated a lot this possibility has conferred us great liberty and independence of movement. The service and the assistance are of high-level and the courtesy of the personnel it is notable and the spaces are all parish priests and very refined. We love the breakfast room and all the staff is very helpful. we will come again to stay at the Hotel stendhal.

Clean roomy and great service.

Hotel and staff were great! Rooms extremely quiet, clean and well decorated — a little on the small side but charming. Breakfast was very good and in a cozy area that gave us a wonderful start to each day. Location was perfect — we walked everywhere and never had to take a cab. A great place to stay! On another note, if you go to Piazza Novone (3 fountains) there is a restaurant called "Pummarola Drink"on one of the streets leading to the fountains. Looks cute but beware — the food and service is really terrible. Was one of the worst meals and/or experiences we have ever had.
