Good hotel. Old. Away from the city, it's quiet. Collectively accessed perfectly.

Classic european with a really friendly staff.

Service is very good, breakfast measly but delicious. Cleanliness is questionable. Location is ok restaurants within 5 min to reach. On the whole, alas, unfortunately, not very central in my opinion.

I state immediately that I do not care to rage, I try rather to share an experience objectively far below the decency in a hotel that is improperly 4 stars in one of the capitals of the EU. And steps, I understand that they are the legacy of an anachronistic system of measuring the level of the hotel inherited from a dead and buried past.
What is unacceptable is the hot water absent when the first day is awakened and the second is present with a tepid of lukewarm water. The smell of old and stuffy of the room. The furniture and the awkward fixtures. The absence of a table where to put a moment the laptop to do two things. The walls with the wall paper that comes off everywhere. The curtains hung despite the holes made by someone with a cigarette and that can not be passed unnoticed. The speed of Wi-Fi (0, 37 dwnl and 0, 17 UPLD) on the second day, because the first service was down because "he knows, we have 160 rooms… She insists on logging in because sooner or later someone will disconnect and see that she comes in. " The breakfast included everything less than inviting. All documented by the photos I uploaded. I guess that's enough.

Of Grand Hotel has just the name… Parking ' in the area ' also not, inaffrontabile bathroom (bidet that leaked water also from closed, toilet drain with little water and little pressure, tiny shower cubicle with shower that was not on so either you held it with one hand or you shut it you soaped it and re-open it), cleanliness no comment (found on arrival map balled up on the floor in a corner of the bathroom), curtains blatantly stained (and not a speck), tiny breakfast room with tutfi tables attached, the free ones were dirty because there was a maid alone CHW had to serve and rid the tables, sliced with a look anything but inviting, like the brioches to which we gave a bite and we left there, in the end we had breakfast in a bar. Icing: I have been charged the room bill the same night of arrival, without even warn me nor waiting for check out. Maybe they feared we'd leave without paying?

In the heart of Parioli a district among the most coveted and prestigious of the City of Rome. Very close to the sports facilities of the Acqua Acetosa and the Great Mosque of Rome.

I do not know how to have all these stars the hotel that has rooms of poor quality that require great interventions of modernization and maintenance. I was at 518… bad.

Bad, you can't find another term to describe it all.
The weather stopped at the Seventies, probably also the maintenance and housekeeping.

Good prices, good rooms, place a bit old but overall okay.

Design from another time, breakfast attention to coffee, it's coffee powder… in the land of coffee it's intolerable.

Very old and dusty place. Rooms are extremely small and ancient. Mediocre breakfasts.

Certainly not a four star hotel as advertised. Foyer impressive. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast adequate. Rooms very small but who spends much time in their room on holidays? Clean and I certainly did not see any cockroaches or ants as commented by another reviewer. Quiet location and some distance from City Centre but public transport very close and bus 360 Muse last stop on this line leaves every 10 minutes. Wifii reception very poor. Drops in and out frequently. Be prepared to pay an extra €6 per night extra (tax) on top of quoted price for room.

A three-star rating is more than enough. Located in a quiet and genteel neighbourhood: I Parioli, inconvenient for the city centre. Breakfast.

The hotel is listed as 4 star according to Italian local hotel clarification, but it most certainly is not compared to general European clarification. Think of it as a substandard 2-3 star hotel and you will see things fit much better with your expectation. Building is old and not well kept, and they do have cockroaches and ants. Not a lot of attention to detail but staff is friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. Breakfast is very minimal, do not expect anything big. Location is a little outside the center, about 1 hour walk to the Coliseum, however right outside the door is buss 360, which goes every 10 minutes. The stop is called Muse and is the last stop. The buss goes to the central station from where you have other busses and the metro. All in all this is a substandard hotel, if you get a really good price it is worth it, you probably won't spend too much time here anyway, but I would recommend trying to find another hotel. NB: The new Italian tourist tax law means this hotel requires an aditional tax payment of €6 (as of May, 2017) per person per night. The hotel passes that tax on to you at checkout.

Nice bed. Nice breakfast. Nice tele and fridge. Small bathroom. Bad doors. Some dust.

Good price. Everything was fine. The location is not good tho. There is not much around.

Staff friendly and welcoming but at the end of the stay is careful not to ask if the customer is satisfied.
The room had a poor cleaning, a lingering stench of sewage, bathroom doorknob completely unhinged, sculptures of black powder on the nozzle of the ventilation. Remote control TV with fouling.
To finish the evening meeting with a black cockroach well grown.

Good breakfast… Away from the center but well connected by public transport… quiet Area… A bit old and neglected… I would recommend It considering the price which is little!

Two distinctions: the staff manning is deserving, the structure is quite antiquated. The insulation of the room definitely bad. I don't understand the rating of 4 stars. Recommended for school classes.

The worst hotel I have ever met in my life! Don't go! Unfriendly attitude! Don't ruin your trip in this trash can!

We didnt have hot water in the room, the cleaning service threw one of my shoes out, in the refuse bin, after they found and promised us to send back with post… Nothing happened, We didnt get answer for our email, and nobady pick up the phone. The hotel was too far away from the city center (20min with bus wich did not come oftern). The receptionists were polite and kind. I liked the breakfast, the service was fast and we had a big assorment. In general I enjoyed the time there because my love was with me, but I cant recommend this hotel with good heart.

Beautiful hotel on the 5th floor has an outdoor terrace. Communicative reception (English). The room is not gigantic, but quite cozy. Normal Breakfast (cheese, ham, yoghurt, muesli, fruit, cakes) in a Prestigious quiet area. Near a bus stop.

Reviewing this as a genuine guest. After a few days here we've seen all the major sites in Rome apart from the Vatican, which is next. Anyone who cant communicate with the staff, find a restaurant, or get to the ancient part of town must be ignorant, and/or can't speak english themselves. Language — everyone seems to speak even the most rudimentary English to the point where the avid Italian learner can get annoyed. I haven't come across anyone who hasn't tried practicing their English on me and my partner. Restaurant's — the street behind the hotel is lined with them. The reception staff were even recommending places on the first day. They even called up to check they were open. For the record there is a restaurant called the 'Pariolina' thats very close. The food is amazing, the staff are very friendly, and I'd even challenge you to walk away not stuffed! You'll notice it gets very busy with the locals also so it's perfect for people watching, and brushing up on your Italian. The waiters actually look amused when the latest tourist tries. Breakfast — you're in Rome, expect a continental breakfast. The type of person who wants a greasy fry up is the type of person who belongs in a Butlins back in the UK. Transport — at the top of the road is a bus stop, the 360 to Zama stops here and goes right past the Termini station. It's regular and the quickest way to get to the collosseum and the other sites, failing a taxi.

Worst hotel I have ever been in. There was no trash can on the room, no toilet brush, the room was dirty and expensive. Additionally the reception desk is not able to communicate in english. Therefore it should be hard to ask for the missing items on your room. The breakfast is bad and the hotel is very far away from the historical city. Please do yourself the favor and DO NOT BOOK here.

We're really very far from a 4 stars: dilapidation, cleanliness, remote location. You can find much better, I think, in Rome. If reception is not Italian or English, nobody speaks french and then, anyway, to say what or advise what? No proximity to customers: we give the key and basta!
The breakfast is good, hearty, but a little monotonous if you stay several days, it is always the same, every morning. There is a lovely lady who has the smile and does not hesitate to make an espresso with frothy milk because the guys who work at breakfast should go find work elsewhere so they do task and so we feel that they have no desire to do that.
Our room on the 8th, the 802 and even the 801 are nice because they have a large balcony with a splendid view. However it feels the sewers with or without air conditioning. A few power outlets do not work and our bed management broke the figure from day one! They don't call drinks in the fridge when we consume? And the closing of the House date from prehistory!

The rooms were full of moisture, with a horrible smell. The carpet was damp and in the bathroom several tiles had fallen. Had not been able to find a receptionist most helpful in all of Rome.
Far from the Centre and very difficult to find, does not even appear Street on the standard maps of Rome.
The breakfast was bad and scarce.
The breakfast room was small and dark.
The waitress who was collecting and took care of the room, was dry and unfriendly.
It was a hotel, which in its time was luxury, but currently the 4 stars have given them is.
