Unfortunately, I can not have good rating, because for me and my family it was not a nice stay. We are of the Toscana from here in this Hotel, at the time it was very, very hot. The location appeared, and very good, but since it is really right in front of the St. Peter's Basilica, but unfortunately, the really interesting and varied areas elsewhere. Who is not for religious reasons but purely for the pleasure of Rome, once visited the St. Peter's Basilica and the Castel Sant'angelo, and then goes mostly to other places, at least in my opinion, because it is particularly in the evening, there is simply nowhere something going on, unless you want every night in tents at the Castel Sant'angelo sit. Back to the Hotel. We have a German tour operator booked and so cheap, the Hotel was not at all. As a positive I would describe that it is directly in the courtyard of a free car Park (for Hitelgäste) and the staff up front is polite and speaks good English. A German TV channel, ARD, there on the TV also. Also, is the building, a former monastery with very great certainty, just beautiful! The rooms inside are fantastically decorated and equipped, especially the ceiling of the Breakfast room. But unfortunately, it depends not only on the eye, and the Negative outweighs. The rooms have air conditioning, but this is so loud, that you do not start. Although there is free Wi-Fi, but you have the walls, it is not available everywhere, and since the building is like a "C" to an inner courtyard includes, located on the Schenkelseite of the "C", where the Router is, rarely Wi-Fi. Renovierungsbedarf is also, because our bathroom was a bit green and not white. Also the Breakfast was the typical Italian simple, with a variety of sausage, one sort of cheese and a few loaves of bread and yoghurt, but in comparison to the Previous Hotel in Forte Dei Marmi, where we, even for me gluten-free bread made got (not here) it was really unworthy, and the price is too expensive. Also, there are only a few, oversized tables for very many guests. On our first day we wanted in the Restaurant of the hotel to eat dinner, but as the waiter again walked by and the Couple used that for a long time after we had arrived, we decided to go. The lady at the front Desk had no explanation. The worst of all, however, was for us the fact that you can't sleep, and by that I mean, we absolutely every morning at 6 o'clock were awake, for two reasons. For one, our room was at the extreme end of the "C" is right in front of the Laundry, an Elevator (lift) and every morning at 6 o'clock we heard the Cleaners. We heard doors slam, the Elevator ride, agree … The second was the courtyard, on the then the Laundry cart to be rolled; rolling on cobblestone, in the morning shortly after six, and we were all wide awake, which is unpleasant if you Rom up in the night he had ever seen. I can only repeat myself, for us it was not a nice stay and we would this Hotel not more. I would like a 2.5 star (so half), because the Hotel is on the St. Peter's Basilica and very nice, but the Rest was just absolutely horrible for leisure guests. You will find no rest and is also not on the Internet (what you're abroad in a Hotel is dependent, since it is not from the mobile phone can use), must be a long walk to the rooms, lots of stairs to run and then has no room in the narrow rooms, with 2 people to live. All in all, Rome is but worth seeing! Only for the price you get a better Hotel.
