Excellent staff to help. Decent European breakfast. Three blocks from St. Peters. Good cafes on street. Staff arranged tours transport and gave walking directions.

Despite being in Rome due to a day hospital, we were charged the resort fee. I asked for explanations and was told by the owner that I was obliged to pay the fee since the hospitalization was scheduled for the next day, early in the morning (of course, otherwise I would not have been there). Later I checked the regulation of the City of Rome and found that it was enough to have my own self-certification that I was in Rome for health reasons to be entitled to the exemption. Unfortunately, I had already left.

Looks very nice from the outside though from the inside old. If you booked a single person room you have a window but you can't see anything because it's high up. In a three person room only 3 plugs with one of them TV and fridge. But very nice view air conditioner and big wardrobes. Breakfast is very good crossaint are kept warm, fresh bread, good coffee and verity of drinks.

The hotel is set in an amazing location at 400mt from Piazza S. Pietro the room is cozy and air-conditioned the staff is always ready to fulfill your every request, breakfast like Wi-Fi and included in the great nightly I'll definitely come back d recommend.

I was very fortunate to be able to stay at Hotel Emmaus with a small group of pilgrims back in June 2017. All the staff were very helpful. The breakfast room was particularly friendly and provided excellent morning treats, like rolls and butter and jelly, and many types of coffee. The room was very pleasant. I would definitely try to stay again at the Hotel. The location can't be beat!

We paid 160 euros per night to us who has stayed there does not seem to be worth much, elevator of the years 40 doors crumbling old window that overlooked the engines I let you imagine the breakfast very miserable I do not want to and so improved.

It's a shame to call it Hotel… You pay too much, old rooms, uneven floors, little cleaning, uncommentable breakfast.

Reasonably priced, very neat and friendly staff. A bit noisy. I love the lift, an adorable antique out of the 1930’s.

Great location if you are visiting the Vatican. Very close to it and ammenities, restaurants and taxis outside the door all the time. Affordable price and most of all, very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

The room air conditioning is very noisy and it takes a long time to cool the room. Otherwise good value for money. Room is cleaned daily. Continental breakfast.

Old building renovated. However, good value for money. Location is good. Breakfast has no variety. Rooms are clean but not sound proof. Internet was very slow. Staff was not too cooperative.

Very good location, which is opposed to a dilapidated building with tiny rooms with furnishings that seem to have been taken from a landfill, which is the setting of a staff, composed of incompetent, rude people! Not to mention the breakfast! Worse than the staff! I do not recommend it absolutely!

Very close to Vatican Rooms nice but work being done at front. Parking an issue. They will park your car in an unknown location and bring it back for you but there were concerns where and how it was being driven. Oh and they said parking was 25 euros and then charged 30

Good enough for such a price. Location is really perfect, we had only 2h before our departure, so we managed to have a quick look at the Vatican city, buy some pasta & souvenirs and grab a pizza at the local pizzeria down the street. Friendly staff :) Also cabs are parkted right in front of the hotel, so it's really convenient if you have a lot of luggage. Breakfast is poor, though, so don't expect any warm food. And the rooms are not that great honestly, but since we only needed a quick night's sleep between the flights, it was okay. Also you can hear e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g, so we have woken up a couple of times during the night.

Rude a tourist had urgency to use the toilet he was refused the use of the same… without words…

Good hotel just a few steps from the Vatican.
Great location, very clean, copious breakfast and, to finish, kindness well helpfulness of the staff. Also equipped for Celiacs.
Definitely a tree to consider for staying at ROMs.

Maybe by European standards it is a little better… it was quant and had an Italian feel.

A wonderful family hotel close to the St. Peter's and the Vatican. The rooms are large and the breakfast is delicious. I have stayed there many times and have found the staff to be pleasant and always willing to help. I always look forward to going back to Rome and the Emmaus.

Place was clean and very nice. Rooms were nice but not large. Bed was comfy, air conditioning rocked, staff was great. Also, nice breakfast, and great (but small) showers. It was a very short walk to St. Peter's, and I would definitely stay there again!

The welcome I received is unforgettable. Excellent. People with big heart.

Great location close to St. Peter's, bus stop just outside and metro was an easy 10 min walk. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Next time I'm in Rome I know where I will be staying! Thanks Hotel Emmaus for a great stay!

Super well placed, but aging.

Nice and tidy rooms, basic furniture and comfort. Wi-fi works fine. Average breakfast. The personnel is very helpful and friendly. Good price/quality.

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Room was clean and modern enough, with a taste of "old world. " Reasonable rates and great location, near San Piedro and the sites of Roma. I would definitely go back to stay, and I did.
