Helpful staff and we had a pleasant stay. The breakfast was pretty good too.

We booked a 5 beds room (on the picture, they showed their 5 beds room on the first floor with BIG windows). When we arrived, they proposed us two 5 beds room to choose from. The first only had a door-window with opaque glass that looked to the street on the GROUND floor. The second room, that they proposed was a room that we only could reach trogh a narrow staircase behind the bar. This room had a window to a dark inner court and to the street via a small window just above a small 0-24 tobacco shop. We chosed the second one, but we asked to change, becasue the both rooms were unacceptable. It was only three days later, that we were able to get the 5 beds room on the first floor, that was much better. The rooms were modern but bad maintained, and it is a pity, because I really liked the hotel’s style. After our dissapointement with the first two rooms, they had a last card to play: the breakfast. The hotel has a very nice terasse on the roof, but covered in a very ugly way, but it wasn’t the thing that took our appetite away. There was italian breakfast, scrambled eggs and bacon in the buffet. The italian part was ok, but the occidental part with the “warm” food was terrible, because the egg was cold and watery and the bacon was also cold and full of grease. We asked the old lady, who was there to turn on the heaters for the bacon and the egg. She kindly did it, but turned off after 5 min (! ). In other places, it is on during the whole breakfast time.

The hotel is in a great location to get around, close to many great attractions and Termini Station. Rooms are on the small side and the beds are nothing special, but it's clean and well kept. The bathroom is a little cramped with almost no counter space. The complimentary breakfast is average, but very convenient and in a great location on the roof. Overall for the price, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The location is perfect. The reception staff were very helpful and kind. The only reason for 1 less star is the breakfast. There wasn't much options and the available breakfast was too sweet.

Very central location and really convenient to walk to both the area of the holes and the Colosseum as well as the Termini station and the metro and bus stops. Restored old building, breakfast on the terrace, reception and very nice staff. Some details improve (maintenance of the rooms, care in the buffet breakfasts), but overall very good value for money.

It was very close to the metro station. Good value for money Good variety in breakfast, only note: The door of the sliding bathroom jammed and did not close properly. However hotel to recommend.

1st Night not top as I was in a small room without windows, nevertheless comfortable, 2nd night, upstairs so much better. Very friendly and professional welcome.

It’s for sure a good located hotel in Rome. People in service was really nice to us and it was a comfortable place to stay. The only thing that I didn’t like it’s that they put two beds together (with the blank sheets and all) as if it was one and obviously that’s a but as I went with my partner but overall it was good and the breakfast was great too.

We arrived with an hour of advance to which we had and we attended without problem. Riccardo was the perfect receptionist. He helped us, informed and guided everything. It explains everything on a map, it points out where owe go without fail and if you need help on something he helps you. The hotel is in perfect condition. Clean and with everything you need for a good stay. Breakfast is complete. The meals and dinners don't know because we didn't make them at the hotel. If I go back to Rome, I hope to stay there.

Positive. The staff is very friendly. It is close to the station and the center. You can move on foot. Well-heated rooms. If I were to go back to Rome, definitely still here.

A lovely place. Excellent location. Very comfortable rooms. The buffet for Italy is decent (from hot there is a tasty omelet and bacon). In summer breakfast on the terrace, in the winter in the closed atrium. Perfect value for money.

Good hotel on Via Cavour. Found to Sfugire at a B&B Farlocco, we had a good one. Price so but in that situation OK. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Well priced with brilliant staff, going through everything we needed to know about Rome during the check-in. Overall it's a basic hotel, but does it very, very well.

Old Hotel, kept clean, tidy, good beds; Includes breakfast where you can choose what you want, is that the hotel is very well located a safe area, a main avenue, near the Colosseum Romano, terminal Termini, restaurants. The attention of all the staff attentive to their guests, and they guide you as you must get to the places you want to know. If you choose this hotel you will like it. 7-10-2017

Hotel Borromeo was a decent experience overall. The staff were friendly, the room clean, and the complimentary breakfast acceptable. My only true complaint is that the mattress I had was very uncomfortable (I could feel the individual springs sticking me in the back). Luckily, they gave the 3 of us guys a room that had a queen-sized bed and 3 twin-sized beds, so we had options. The second mattress I tried was VERY firm. I actually prefer firm mattresses so it was perfect for me, but it would have been unpleasant for someone who prefers medium or soft beds. Still, the amenities we're decent and the price was fair. I'd recommend the Borromeo Hotel to anyone looking for reasonable accommodations for a reasonable price.

Decent hotel with friendly staff. Great location. They let you byo beer to the terrace in the evening, which was great. The water in the mini bar is cheaper than the shops at 80 cents.

Arrived last night. Hotel was booked. Rooms were okay, had a minor issue with bathroom. Alessandro Gi Gi took care of of us the following day. He changed the room and made this Hotel much more pleasant! He was very courteous! Highly recommend it… It's close to all the sights and exceptional for the price… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
