My stay was a huge disappointment. The facility itself was quite nice but the front of house was a 2 star experience. While everyone had a pleasant attitude there was little engagement and there were some unnecessary bumps in the road. For starters how do you only let somebody, who is booked for two nights in your hotel, order from a “24 hour stay ONLY (limited) menu” when the kitchen is completely open to other guests? They said it was because we “arrived late”
Which was 9pm. On top of THAT, how do you consider yourself a 5 star hotel but charge your guests an extra 15$ each time to deliver food to your room on top of the price. The room service food was cold and not good quality. Don’t order fish. At this point as a guest we wondered why we paid 5 star prices for the two rooms. It seemed to be mismanaged even by the manager herself who was nowhere to be found because the Wi-Fi was barely working for the 3 days with no solution proposed. We missed conference calls and were late on work emails. The hotels response was just “sorry we understand”. You are a 5 star hotel with international guests and you leave your Wi-Fi down with no urgency? Then on our last day as we sat and enjoyed our breakfast the GM brought herself and an employee IN TRAINING over *mid room* to address OUT LOUD that our final breakfast would need to be paid for.

In the dinning area. This was something we were informed of as we checked in 3 days prior. We had to speak with her before we left and to insult us even more… her only solution was to offer is 15% off of our breakfast that morning. She missed the mark again as we wanted to let her know how poor our stay was and we are regular to the hotel. Never once did we bring up price but to talk logistics and mismanagement. We have now stayed at two more hotels as we travel for work around Europe and I still think about how much of a let down that “5 star hotel” was. My boss was excited to show me the hotel. Quite frankly she never wants to go back and I’ll gladly pass.
