We arrived at the hotel to be shown our room in a different building down the street. We had asked for a double room when booking, our bed was two singles pushed together. There was no fridge or tea and coffee machine in the room. The room was big enough the bathroom very small. The bed was made everyday by staff but never changed although we did get fresh clean towels everyday. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful unlike the staff in the breakfast room not so much.

Hmmm. The hotel was great, the breakfast even better. The room was always clean and we did not have any major problems with it. However, the city tax we *had* to pay when we checked in was not expected and it definitely exceeded our budget. The location was also good, if you are not scared of being murdered walking out from the hotel. But jokes aside, this did not look like a safe location (especially later at night). I will give this a solid 4, since nothing really that important occurred, but judging by other reviews, I understand all the lower ratings.

Though the staff were friendly, the hotel itself was not what it was made out to be. The bedrooms were very small with bathrooms that were rusted and somewhat mouldy. Cleanliness could be improved. Towels provided to guests resembled thin tablecloths of which had holes through them. On two ocassions we were told that the area is not safe at night. Wifi was sub par. Recommend spending a little more and get your moneys worth.

Good hotel, with friendly hosts. Rooms have everything you need (airco, minibar, decent beds, TV), though they are a bit on the small side. Location is close by the central train station, sights such as the Coloseum. Breakfast is decent, though mostly sweet. You won't find any bacon and eggs here.

Clean comfortable and located in a strategic location, near Termini so trains and Metro at your fingertips. The courteous and professional staff is always available to guests. For more or less long trips and stays is ideal!

Do not recommend going here. The hotel was pretty simple, but clean. And the breakfast in the morning was good. However, any little “charm” this hotel had was destroyed be the abhorrent customer service. The front desk charged us the mandatory city tax as soon as we checked in. However, when we checked out they said we needed to pay the city tax because it was never paid! The guy asked for a receipt, which he never gave us because he was a mess the day we checked in. Absolutely ridiculous. The couple behind us in the lobby said he told them the same thing! Don’t stay here. They’re a bunch of crooks.

Antiquated decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is an Ecuadorian guy at reception who is the only one who attended us well, I congratulate him. There is a maintenance guy who is also at breakfast who treats people badly, they should fire him. The Wi-Fi is very bad, it is cut off every time. At 10:00, which is the time where breakfast ends, you turn off the lights, TV and take everything out, even if you're in breakfast. I would not recommend it and would not come back to this Hotel.

Hotel at 2 steps from Roma Termini Station. For a 3 star hotel The service is not up to par. Some rooms are in a building right next to not terrible. Pay attention to the sheets often torn or not clean. Good for a WE.

I wish I could give it minus stars. We got a triple room and it was so small. The beds are really hard and there are not duvets just sheets. The towels for drying after a shower were made of thin cotton. The room was filthy when we got there. There was rubbish in the room and actual faeces in the toilet. The breakfast is fine but everything is very sugary. The staff on reception were rude and refused to help us. The only nice thing is the marble reception.

Very good location (next to Termini or next to any transport). Friendly staff. Free Wi-Fi breakfast is a detail. The lobby looks good but as soon as you get to the staircase you realize that something is not going well. The ultra small room, the smallest one I've ever been to. The blanket and headboard are disgusting with old and undone. But the worst thing with difference was the shower, in which my husband did not fit through the door literally and I entered with much difficulty (my weight 60kg). The size of the shower is such that you wash your head if or if (the artichoke is wall and not removed and there is no room to get away), the feet you can not wash them because you can not bend inside. As the water heats up, it's flooding the bathroom. And good luck if your door closes and it doesn't hang up every time. I'll remember that bath for life. The size of the room leaves free half a meter on the three sides of the plus hollow bed to open the doors. I chose that hotel for the great opinions and I am in absolute shock. It's totally fake, and the fake pictures or I've been cheated and got into the mop room. Three stars? Unfortunately it's a hostel. And I am very sorry to put them back and average, but there is no right to pay 75 euros a night and be in those conditions. I have not seen a hostel so bad in my life.

Quality Price is not bad, the beds are small although they are not incomfortable, the rooms are cozy, although the hotel in general is to give you a review and update a bit. The breakfast was very good. Good location in quiet street and close to Termini.

Very simple city hotel but ideal location. Many attractions are within walking distance. Bus station and Termini station nearby.
If possible, you should book the room on the top floor: huge rooftop terrace and beautiful view over the city. The elevator is only on the floor below, but the ascent is worthwhile! This room is also large and clean as the floor is tiled.
Small, uncomfortable breakfast room. For breakfast you better go to one of the many cafes in the city.

Hotel with similar features to so many others in the area. Breakfast was very good Some product in addition would not spoil (hard-boiled eggs). Some gaps in the rooms (missing a hanger and shelves in the bathroom) altogether positive.

The room is small, the towels are smelly, breakfast from 7.30am, for those who at work it is uncomfortable, and breakfast so so — mostly floury, nothing hot was. The area is so-so, there are also no normal restaurants and cafes with delicious food.

The sheets and towels had holes and the room smelled pretty special a little limit for a three star.

This experience was not a pleasant one. Customer service is very important to me and the hotel staff did not treat me with respect and was not accommodating to my issues concerning booking. Would not recommend staying here, there are loads of other hotels with friendlier more accommodating staff. Very disappointed to have wasted my money here.

Income from Rome a week ago, hotel well placed not very far from the station but poorly attended neighborhood, one does not feel safe on the other hand. Friendly receptionist young girl very friendly the beds were separated but closer one was not fixed it rolled… Small room with morose decoration and breakfast very very low range pastries damage of the cakes of the day before fruit juice in sachet everything is shabby it is better to take it outside.

The proximity to Termini station makes it a great economical alternative for those who want to spend even a weekend in Rome. The rooms are small but habitable for a few days and have heating. The only downside is that the new guests (I do not know with what criterion they choose) sometimes assign rooms in a structure divided by the hotel. At our request however they moved us to the main facility. Breakfast is not the best. I recommend to those who do not have so many claims only as support for trips of a few days.

We liked it very much, they are not too spacious rooms, but they get very good rest because there is no noise, the staff very attentive and the location fantastic. Breakfast is in a small space but not lacking in anything.
It is surrounded by places to dine, and do not fail to visit the church of Santa Maria la Mayor enormous.
When I return to Rome, I repeat.

Cheap budget hotel few steps from Roma termini. Free breakfast every morning which is good. Rooms are very basic with uncomfortable bed and tiny bathrooms. Can be booked only if you aren't able to find anything better.

The location near the station favors the achievement in a rather fast way of the major attractions.
The room we were staying in was large and quiet though with the bathtub and not the shower, too bad the top floor was not reachable by the elevator.
Breakfast in the standard, friendly staff, discreet housekeeping in common rooms, great in the room.

Centrally located. Very poor Wi-Fi service. The rooms and bathrooms were dirty and congested. The bed spreads were dirty. They have a wide spread of breakfast. Other than the cleanliness the overall stay was decent.

Looks good. Breakfast is good. We went to the collosium walking from this place.

I don't consider it 3 star hotel. We were staying in a separate building from the hotel. The bathroom towels are non-chord and very small. The heating didn't work.

Pros… is very close to the station ate you with suitcases and you will soon fly away — ideal location, friendly staff, clean rooms, clean bath and hot water will not end in an unexpected moment, breakfast is included.
Cons! tired, seeing the views of the hotel, repairs can be seen that was not long ago, on the bed linen you can find holes, did not work TV, and if you settle in winter dress warmer as in the morning the heating is turned off and the room is cold, the rooms are very nice.
Conclusion outs for travelers who are in Rome for 1 night or 2 is a good choice at a very good price! For a long stay… most people are probably not comfortable. In addition, the station area is not the most peaceful, so walking at night you need to be careful.

I was here for 3 days but the truth is that we where in Hotel Campidoglio so we had to go out to another building and come back for breakfast and the keys. I had no 3G connection in my room and the Wi-Fi was really poor. Really bad towels which are like paper Really bad ilumination, almost impossible to read. Just 4 small lights in the hole room. Breakfast is ok, orange juice is terrible. The worst is that we almost had no soap to wash as the just gave us on piece for two people every day. They do not watch the luggage if you want to leave it on your last day. They just leave it in a room and take no responsibility.

Very nice workers. The hotel has rooms in another building so you have to switch from building to breakfast and leave the keys always at reception when you go out. The towels were thin like a sheet, little light in the room, the door cannot be locked only closes. The price is pretty cheap but for the 3 stars I find it a bit crappy.

A hotell, nothing special, rooms with minibar though no smoking doesnt apply and poor cleaning… Sweet breakfast with Danish and cakes.

Booked and paid for a room view on the internet and they made us sleep in a different facility! At the check in done inside the hotel Contilia I was again going out and taken to another facility that had nothing to do with what we had booked and paid for! Beware that they will show you one thing and then sleep in nowhere else!

Not bad, not good either. The rooms are small, and tourist get thrown to another part of the building for some reason. Towels set pretty gross, had to sends them back twice. At least there are no roaches and the unit has AC.

Room 220 is uncomfortable. As standard as it is, the bathroom door opened out in front of the bed. Shower without manpara with a piece of curtain, the refrigerator did not cool, (we warned we never saw it) the two windows girls gave a no I know what, and the space at the foot of the bed to pass was narrow. The TV (computer monitor) was resting on a piece of furniture that was located parallel to the bed, instead of hanging, impossible to look lying down. The elevator is boy and when you go out on the second floor you come across two horrible armchairs. Even if it's for sleep and breakfast, you just can't offer something so uncomfortable. I didn't have a sommier.

I booked to stay in hotel Contillia, but when I arrived they allocated us in a worse hotel near. In that hotel the hot shower was not working and the bathroom was tiny. There was no one in the front desk at night and you need to hold the keys of the gate. The staff did nothing to solve the problem with the shower and after 3 days complaining they moved me to hotel Contillia. In hotel Contillia the room is very small and the street is noisy at night, preventing a good sleep. The staff is rude and does not seem interested in solving the problems. Each staff member gives a different information when asked the same question. The conservation is terrible, the Wifi is terribly slow and crashes all the time. I do not recommend this hotel.

Its a hotel that its not nice. We arrived and the first thing they asked for was for the money to pay… then when we arrived we saw that it was a terrible place. The shower is too small and the water goes out from it. I can hear conversations from other rooms and the neighborhood is not nice. I don't recommend this hotel. The breakfast is not nice at all… it has not so many choices like eggs or sausages, just sweet things… and the coffee… terrible!

Friendly and helpful staff. I added a star since in my last stay, in mid-November, I was even better. Spacious and quiet room, bathroom with shower at the height of the situation.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL! I made the mistake and dismissed the poor reviews. It is true this hotel is horrible. Staff are rude and unhelpful in every way. Internet is not free. You have to pay additional fees for each device. They also complained about how much my family would eat at breakfast, and oddly I never went to one breakfast. Very unsatisfied for this over priced hotel with secret additional charges. I would have happily paid more for a better hotel. STAY AWAY! It is not a kid friendly hotel, it is not relaxing or elegant or anything else they advertise. Take heed of the warnings and one star ratings.

We had 3 rooms, a single & 2 twin rooms. They were all clean with comfortable beds. Even the smallest room had plenty of space. We had 4 nights & enjoyed our time in Rome. The hotel was very near to Termini rail station & the Restaurant 2 doors away was really good with fantastic food & wine. The express train was just 14 Euro & went straight to Termini. I can recommend the hotel with a family feel & very helpfull & pleasant staff. If I return to Rome I would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here a couple of years ago. Close to the train station yet quiet, it was quaint and clean. The breakfast was perfect with a selections of meat and cheeses along with the usual pastries and fruit. I had to tear myself away from the cappuccino! It was walking distance to get to all the tourist buses and we enjoyed several restaurants in the area. My only complaint would be the bed was hard.

Small bathroom, room was not so warm and pillows could be better. But staff is friendly and breakfast is decent; not extraordinary, but decent.

Simple hotel. But clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable and in a great location near the train station and metro. Even walking is conveniently located to move. Staff friendly and helpful. Congratulations!

Very good buffet fir breakfast.

The rooms are acceptable, very clean, but the staff and entire organization, leaves much to be desired, starting from breakfast time, too late without taking into account any requests to get ahead of her. Logistical problems faced, the staff on duty is not able to resolve them, they are resolved but with 24 hours late. Also, the staff was prepared very rigid in applying of provisions, which just a little common sense in order to meet the customer, considering that it is not cheap. I hope you can improve the shortcomings, definitely will not go back.

Great location to move to the main points of the city; clean enough but the breakfast consists of very low quality products (except yogurt), the Wi-Fi is not good.

I made the mistake of booking a last minute trip and chose this hotel due to its location without checking reviews. I know some people have had an OK time here from reading but my trip was a disaster. I would never recomned this hotel to anyone I care about despite its brilliant location. Next time I will pay a little more and get a much better place. The staff were very rude and unhelpful. I had just travelled from Nice where the staff were expectional and it this hotel they just didnt care at all about helping you with anything. The room was dirty in the corners. The Wi-Fi didnt work on my floor. The towels were way to small to be able to dry yourself with so I had to buy my own. The Buffet breakfast was disgusting and consisted on a bun and weak coffee. The bathroom had hairs in the shower, the floor got soaked and made it dangerous as I slipped over when I got out. The hotel didnt care when I suggested making it safer. The street the hotel is in has some less desirable people in it constantly asking for money. The beds are hard. The air conditioning didnt work. I was told I was on teh 5th floor which was the nicest floor? when I arrived in my room I felt sorry for anyone on the 4 floor below me if what I had was good. The lift was broken was I had to walk up all the stairs. No big deal but not good with 2 suitcases. No staff offered to help or even could tell me when the elevator would be fixed. It wasnt their problem and they were busy reading a newspaper.

They were very kind, they allowed me to leave until 11:00 pm I think that it is not right, but they were tolerant, so a 10 for them.

Close to Termini so if flying to Ciampino it is very easy to get the bus from the airport to the Termini (8 euros return) and to walk to the hotel from there. Can buy bus ticket on Easyjet flight. Room very clean. Breakfast basic (as all continental breakfasts are) but you can eat as much as you want. Some staff very friendly, others appear miserable. On arrival we were told that if there was anything at all that we needed then do not hesitate to contact reception. Some nice restaurants on same road as hotel for evening meal. Termini area is a bit seedy but when you are out all day sightseeing and only return to hotel in evening then not a problem. Shops in Termini open late for shopping.

The hotel is very good, everything is very clean and breakfast is a generous buffet-style, but the area leaves much to be desired. The staff is nice also.
