Lovely art deco style hotel in central rome nice rooms great service very helpful and accomadating staff.

Our 1st room had a problem with the bathtub drainage and they moved us into a new room they even brought all our stuff. Thank you Guinluca. You made our 25th Anniversary amazing and memorable. The Hotel is near walking distance from the Metro train and nice Restaurants.

Excellent location, walking distance to Rome central station and subways lines. However, the 4 start rating (as with many other hotels in Italy and Spain) is not accurate; more like a 3 star. Free Wi-Fi connection was poor on 4th floor and often dropped. The single room I stayed in was clean and functional and had a safe, a mini fridge, a small desk, plenty of electrical outlets and working AC. There were two elevators within the building; one went all the way down to the ground floor, the other one did not (terminates a floor up). The front desk and breakfast people were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was good. The street noise was bearable. Will return.

The hotel was clean and the men staff were amazing. The one woman they had working was rude and constantly had an attitude. The jets in our tub didn’t work. The Wi-Fi came and gone. The last night we stayed the water had a sewage smell. We tried paying our city tax 2xs before we finally could because their “system was down. ”

Great staff. Good location. The room wasn't great, too small and stuffy. There wasn't any electric kettle in room which is our most serious criticism.

I quite enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Artdeco. Conveniently located just a few minutes from the Castro Pretorio metro station as well as Termini railway station, the hotel is comfortable and cosy. The rooms were a little smaller than I was expecting, but quiet and clean. The staff were friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The breakfast was a little scarce in vegetarian options, but still well made and quite good. My only complaint was about the slightly erratic water pressure in my bathroom, which could take the water from cold to scalding hot without warning. But that too was only a minor, occasional inconvenience.

Awesome hotel with great staff. The hotel is very clean. The rooms were very large, especially for European standards. The front desk staff was excellent at assisting with everything my family (a group of 7) needed. The breakfast was amazing the staff there were awesome as well. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to the metro and terminus stations. I would highly, very highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly Hotel with clean rooms and very helpful staff. Stay often in this hotel is I always stayed happy. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable, the proximity to the station and the Metro stop makes it very convenient to travel. The room that happened to me this time was quite small but the one night stay L made it equally enjoyable. Extremely friendly and competent staff.

Nice hotel — good charm — small elevators/lifts, but the room was nice, view was decent, bed was good, breakfast was surprisingly good, and we would stay again. Safe neighbourhood.

Indeed, if the room is on a single, it seems like there is a little cramped. But he's one man! I was satisfied. And if you are a smoker, you can buy in certain rooms!

So we were sent here by Hotel Apollo when they had a problem and had to close some rooms. They were awesome, booked us another hotel, paid our cab and made sure we had an even nice hotel. About 100€ more than we had there. We got to Best Western, the woman who dealt with Hotel Apollo was great, they gave us a suite, beautiful terrace also. Room was great, we had dinner, service and food were great. Took rest of our wine to our room. We go out next day, great location — easy to get to places. Upon our return — we are greeted (accosted) by a male desk clerk. Demands to know if we are guests (had met us before), which room (we told him), and then in front of 6 people in lobby — said that we had stained the wall with red wine and it needed to be repainted entirely. We freely admitted that we did knock over a glass. I politely asked the cost, he said 200€. I went and looked, took a tide pen and some warm water, gone. The wall had other stains, the smooth finish was already off on some of it. I guess they got their extra 100€, tourist tax is what I call it. As polite as we were, this male clerk continued to treat us like lepers and wouldn’t even acknowledge us when we came in later. We paid the ransom (to his cousin the most expensive painter ever), yet we were treated as criminals. Guess they know that most of us never are here again.

Decent hotel. The staff was very sweet and quite helpful in providing info. Small thing though — there was No electronic kettle given in the room.

Great hotel just a few minutes walk from Termini station. There is a very nice restaurant. Breakfast buffet accompanied by very kind staff.

Not really a 4 star I would say. I was given a room with a giant mold stain… sickening smell. When I called to make me change the room they were kind and moved me right away.

Good value for money. Very nice welcome and good advice. Breakfast quite decent. Small room but no more for a City trip. Little more: At the reception they speak French.

PROS: Spacious Room, high ceiling, windows, clean white sheets. Close to main Termini train station. Neighbourhood is quite compared to the city centre. 24 hrs front desk, very convenient. Private washroom Locker in room CONS: Towels had unpleasant smell. Dated furnishing and used up place. No Hair conditioner and hand lotion You need to leave the card in the slot as you enter the room to keep the lights on, which is good to save energy but manually turning the light off didn’t work. Washroom light must not need access card to avoid turning lights on in the main room to disturb others. Barbie size elevators.

Often diminished on the net it does not deserve. A great service. A very decent breakfast. If you need Wi-Fi imperatively ask them in advance. Because in some rooms it does not work well.

Room with double bed in style consistent with that of the structure. Welcoming, refined and above all spotless. Available everything you need, air conditioner working, very nice parquet. Helpful and professional staff.

A place of luxury but affordable at a few steps from downtown in a strategic place to take public transportation. Very nice. I recommend it.

Rude staff. Housekeeping gave us a hard time when we needed a crib. The building smelled like cigarette smoke, even though we were assured it was a non-smoking hotel. Breakfast was no good, either.

I don't understand the critics. I almost cancelled this hotel in the light of all the reviews. This hotel deserves 4 stars but I put 5 to re-evaluate it. Well located 10 mn from the central train station of Termini Room 134 Artdeco all comfort. Top quality price. A flat Wi-Fi is random.

Good hotel for a good price to use as a base while visiting Rome for a few days. 10 minute walk from Rome Termini and 5 minutes from the closest metro station. About 15 minutes by bus to the trevi fountain and 30 minutes to St Peter's Basilica. I found the buses and metro very easy to use with the Roma Pass I bought. The hotel is labeled 4 stars but more like a very basic 4 stars. Double room was on the smaller side but everything was clean and quiet. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel that I did not try. I paid a very good price through express deals so I can't complain.

I have no complaints. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. The price was right. The elevator was really tiny. I guess that's not really a negative. Use the stairs, it's not that far and you probably need the exercise. Leave the elevator for someone who really needs it. :)

Quaint small hotel. The Staff is friendly and helpful. For North Americans — check the shower for bathroom mat before turning it on. For some reason they keep putting in the shower.

All very well, spacious, clean and comfortable room. Very good breakfast too. The price of the Internet is very low.

Great room, friendly staff, late check out. The hotel is in a decent location with a short walk to the train station. There is an embassy next door to the hotel with guards from the army at all times, which felt a bit weird walking past people with large guns to get out of our hotel.

Reception and restaurant staff are lovely, the porter/concierge was more Fawlty Towers than Best Western. Our room was freezing but the staff obligingly gave us another one. Though we had to move ourselves as the porter disappeared and the farce of having to use two lifts — one of which is the tiniest I have ever seen as it only holds one person and one suitcase so it was difficult with two of us and four cases, two of which were small. They also put a heater in the room which was very kind. I didn't like the area very much as, it seemed a bit depressed but we nevertheless had a super time and Rome is amazing.

Hotels in 4minutes from Metro station (castro pretorio). Room clean, tidy if a little on the small side. Nice and polite.

Artdeco hotel in good location, in a quiet street, within walking distance to Termini station, Pizza della Repubblica hop on hop off bus can take place there. Hotel staff is top-notch, and ensure you get what you want. Their breakfast and dinner was great. Room very good, there is a big bed, bathroom was large, bathtub inside. There is nothing to complain about.

You can reach the Hotel in 10min by walk from the Roma Termini Station. It was a good Hotel but I would say it isn't a 4 Star Hotel (More like a good 3 Star Hotel). The Room were very nice and clean. The Staff was friendly.

I think letting the best sleep of my life. Need to improve a bit the breakfasts to stay QL level of new hotels.

Great Hotel great service.

Air condition in rooms was amazing. Staff were exceptional and friendly. Felt very safe as its next to embassy's so streets outside were patrolled by armed soldiers. Food and service was exceptional at breakfasts. Safes in room didn't work. Wardrobe was peeling and tacky. Finally the lift is tiny and crushed my girlfriend our first time using lol.

Good value and convenient and thoughtfully decorated. Spacious rooms for Europe. Walking distance from train, metro and buses. Breakfast selections are basic but expect excellent coffee. Wi-Fi is under 3Mbps but good coverage.

Nice and professional all up to the name everything.

I stayed here for one night. I checked in a bit early, but my room was ready to go. If you arrive before check in time, you may have to leave your suitcases in the lobby, but they will be safe. The rooms are small, but clean and very nice. The breakfast is very nice and has a variety of food available. Location is great — within walking distance of the Termini station and many main attractions in Rome. They even have an outlet that accepts any plug style.

We loved the hotel. The personnel is friendly and very professional. We can remember Antonio who has has been very nice. Clean and calm hotel. The double bed was too small, they have suggested another room the following day, but we declined. Thank you.

Thanks to Gianluca and the rest of the rest of the staff at Art Deco Rome! Everything was great and everyone was so helpful. Especially the morning breakfast room staff. They were so polite and made sure everything was perfect. During our early morning departure, the wonderful gentleman at the front desk (lost my note with his name but it was November 5th at 6:00 a. M. ) made sure that we had a lovely box lunch to take to the airport with us. Grazie mille, indeed.

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! This hotel is extremely clean, beautifully decorated, in a great location and altogether superb value for money. Breakfast was also delicious with plenty of choice. But what really makes this hotel a quality four star establishment is the staff — always friendly, polite and very professional, nothing is ever too much trouble for them — they really know how to make you feel special. The reception staff, the cleaning staff, the restaurant staff, everyone obviously takes a great deal of pride in their work — well done to each one of you and thank you for making our time in Rome extra special.
