Really cute market, pleasant atmosphere. We got there at the closing time, around 2pm but still manage to grab somethings. It's opened in the morning so it'd probably be nice place to grab yourself a nice breakfast. The surrounding area also had many shops and restaurants so it's a great place to spend a couple of hours there.

I came here around 7:30 am on a Sunday. Half of the vendors were still setting up there booths. Nothing interesting here. Spices and pasta of every color and shapes (in the same bag). Very touristy. I came back at night and the scene changes quite pleasantly. The statue in the middle of the square is a good place to sip beer/wine and watch people. I saw a young girl, probably a tourist, coming there to sit and in a minute got chatted up by a group of young Italian guys. Fun scene!

Having stayed in both the hotel and the efficiency apartments both are clean, safe and nicely appointed. The hotel rooms are nicer but smaller and lack the kitchen. THe hotel includes breakfast in an ornate dining room. Ther is a roof deck foe relaxing and evening drinks.
