Microscopic room, though clean, equally small bathroom, breakfast places outside not enough for guests, non-functioning hair dryer and broken bathroom window glass. The person to whom we have pointed out these "small" spots, however included in the non-economic price, did not come to us in the slightest meeting but "rightly" requested 1.50 euros for a bottle of water in the fridge. Nice hotel, simple rooms and great breakfasts! Freshly prepared scrambled eggs or delicious crepes. Very accommodating and friendly:) Always like to go back!

Really lovely place with very personalised attention. Definitely makes you feel like home. Super comfy. Excellent garden and helpful staff. Excellent rooms. I stayed here for the second time and will stay again if I am in the area.

Very nice hotel, was happy I selected it on a recent stay in Venice (Lido). Our room had high ceilings and a good amount of space. A very nice breakfast was included with the room. The lady who cooked breakfast was really nice and would offer each day to make a crepe, eggs, etc. For us. The grounds outside are very nice, there's a covered area with couches, many plants, etc. Great location too, a few blocks to the Palazzo/Casino (conference center). Probably 15-20 mins from the "downtown" on Lido, but it's a nice walk.

Fabulous… on the lovely Island of Lido a short ferry ride from Venice Central Train Station.

Our room was not as in the pictures. Rather rustic and small. It smells uncomfortable for scented trees. Breakfast perfect! Staff very friendly.

Lovely place, good air conditioning which makes it like a paradise in Venice in august. Not far from the beach, which the kids like. Breakfast is great and the staff are impeccable in their helpfulness. Only bad thing is too many mosquitos, so a zapper would benefit good in the garden.

Small hotel very welcoming. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast offered is perfect; Lots of choices and a lot of fresh produce.
The room we had was very spacious with private terrace. The bed Kingsize very comfortable.

Loved it! Great place, great staff, great price. Just a short water taxi ride to Venice. Much more laid back (read: quiet) and a perfect place to spend the evening relaxing after fighting the crowds on the main island. The breakfast is simply amazing.

Lovely hotel on Lido Island away from stressful Venice. The Hotel is located close to the beach. The staff was always super nice and helpful. One of the best things was the amazing breakfast. Also water and juice are available for self service during the day. I stayed in a Deluxe Room which seems to be nicely renovated and offers a huge bathroom with rain shower plus a big comfortable bed. There is a small garden as well which is nice to hang in the evening hours. I can highly recommend to stay here!

I was hesitant at first about staying in Lido, but in the end, we loved it. Villa Stella was the best place we'd stayed in Italy and happened to be the cheapest. Everything was thoughful and nice — including little drawers in the bathroom to keep your things in. The breakfast was wonderful, with fresh baked goods from a bakery down the street. If you get a chance, try the restaurant Valentino, just over the bridge on the way into town, we had a fantastic meal for a really reasonable price, and the service was wonderful. All in all, it was a really lovely little hotel and totally worth the extra effort to get off of Lido's main drag.
