I was lucky to have been upgraded to a deluxe room which is really wow. The room is modern and very clean. The staff at reception extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely a 100 per cent recommendation. The train station is at your doorstop.

Even though this hotel is not in central Venice, can be easily reached within 20 minutes with train/bus. The front desk staff were very friendly and willing to help. Would recommend this hotel.

I stayed at the Plaza Hotel in Venice for two nights from July 30 to August 1.
The room number is 616.
But I had a terrible experience.
So I write a mail because I am dissatisfied with the hotel.
The incident occurred on July 31. At that time, I was so tired that I was sleeping alone with the lights off. But suddenly, someone came into my room without warning. Because of noise, I opened my eyes. There was a strange woman in surprise in darkness. And I checked the time. It was 11:30 p. M. I thought, ' Is that a dream? ' That's unbelievable. Why did she enter my room without notice at this time? ’
She left the room in a fright after contacting my eyes.
As I packed my bags on August 1, I found a white Canon DSLR camera, camera lens, and a camera bag stolen. While staying at this hotel, I never took my camera outside the hotel. So I am sure that the camera was stolen inside the hotel, not outside the hotel. So I strongly believe that the woman who came into my room the last night, stole my camera.
I went to the hotel lobby to talk about last night's incident and said I wanted to check the security videos, but the hotel didn't take any aggressive action and any other cooperation.
So I was very angry about the attitude. So I had to report it to the police.
What I consider to be more serious than a stolen case is that any security system in the hotel will not work. Fortunately, it was a thief who stole only the camera.

I don't know, there was a bus for about 10 minutes.

Good hotel, convenient location
The rooms are clean but breakfast is not the best.

The reception agents are very friendly, helpful and efficient. They also speak fluent English. The breakfast has a large variety of breads, pastries, meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, sausage & bacon (more English than US, but still hot). Room had a large bathroom with tub/shower combo, comfortable bed, A/C, and was quiet. TV has channels in different languages, including English. It is right across the street from the train station. Also a bus in front of the train station that goes directly to Piazza Roma in Venice. Great place to stay for a visit to Venice or before a train to another city. I have stayed here several times and experienced consistent good service.

Hotel are located very good and convenient location. Staff are friendly and nice. Although the room is clean and bathroom are stunning because they using marble stone for interior. However, the floor carpet look a bit old and internet are slow at night when all the guest are home and using the same time.

Great location, a stone's throw away at the train station. There are 2 train stops to Venice. At the reception we were met by a Russian-speaking girl Elena. Thank you for her help.
The room is spacious, clean, the beds wide, the sleep was comfortable.

Very tasty and cheap breakfasts. Lots of tourists. Fast, professional service. Lovely and friendly girls at the bar. Very light cafe, all windows to the floor, good view. We all loved it.

Helpful front desk staff changed one of our rooms when the first smelled of smoke. Variable shower setups, some without glass doors so water got all over the bathroom. Included breakfast of good quality.

No 4-star hotel.
The location of the hotel is the only positive, right next to the central station.
I am not very picky at hotels, but I expect a certain standard of cleanliness.
The rooms were nicely decorated but the blanket was a bit dirty and the whole room very dusty. Even on the desk next to the bed was a layer of dust. What I suggest is that the room is not cleaned regularly thoroughly.
In addition the stank and the room were very chemical. Also, it was very warm in the room, which is amazing at 17 degrees outside temperature.
The climate could not cool the room.
In the room there was a slight mildew on the door and the bathtub.
To all this comes the fact that the WLAN was quasi non-existent, also there was no better connection at a surcharge to buy.

This hotel was ideal to stay at if you wanted to hop on the train immediately to Venice Island (Santa Lucia). The hotel rooms are also clean and quiet (I stayed in 328 which overlooks another smaller set of buildings). The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable; they need a little updating but they're good for business. There were cabinets with shelves, a closet, a safe, and an… apparatus for suits (sorry I don't know the proper word). Stefano, who checked us in to our rooms had amazing customer-service skills as well as his other staff. The reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the restaurants in the area were a bit over-priced and there weren't many activities outside of going to the main island of Santa Lucia. Plan on staying there a while — the rate is totally worth it.

It was very nice being right across the street from the train station but unfortunately the Wi-Fi wasn't great and there wasn't many food options around.

Excellent option if you stop in Mestre, if you go in the direction of Venice. Located right in front of the train station, it gives you comfort in the transfer if you use this option. It is a modern and elegant hotel. If breakfast is abundant and varied. The overall attention is excellent. Highly recommended.

I can't help it. This so-called 4 star hotel, the hotel's computer is very difficult to use, the card is slow. The hotel is not allowed to pay in advance, is more afraid of others want his family drinks? The hotel offers online rooms and the actual discrepancy, is not a photo of the room design! The safe is not good, the bathroom is clean, there is a little damp worm in the bathtub! The air conditioner does not give the force, the feeling does not have the central air conditioner. The double bed is a combination of two single beds that offer mini bath lotion, which is obviously reducing costs! As for the good, near the train station, it is safe to stay nearby.
The room has a hot kettle, sound insulation effect is good, basic room equipment are complete. The BW next door will feel better!

Very good reception I have solved every problem with professionalism and kindness. Convenient location because it is 1 minute from the train station and the coaches. Good and varied breakfast. Shower with a fantastic water jet. Clean and quality sheets, as well as the mattress and pillows. Recommended.

Good location, great room. However, the cleanliness leaves nothing to be desired. Broken window handle, the window could barely do up — or do. Shower Cabin door defective. The breakfast room is similar to a canteen. Dirty dishes. So 4 * Definitely did not deserve this hotel.

I stayed for 2 nights at the hotel. It was really near the Venezia Mestre train station (literally across the road) so its very convenient. Rooms were clean and cozy. Free breakfast was provided, but nothing too fancy. Would recommend for travelers who do not want to jostle with tourists on mainland Venice.

Comfortable to go to Venice, right in front of the station, very slow at reception, and lots of people to have breakfast, comfortable room, but it gets very slow to do the check Inn and check out.

Disappointing. Gross bathrooms, water damage and mold everywhere. No air conditioning, so I was hot all night. The beds were like sleeping on a slab of concrete. On the upside, the staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurant was also very good. Had this been a hundred dollar a night hotel, my review probably would have been different. Considering how much we paid though, and the wonderful experiences we had in the rest of Europe (London, Paris, Florence, Pizzo, Rome, Etc. ), this one was just a dud comparatively speaking.

Right outside the Mestre train station! Huge plus since we spent alot of money already with taxis and we were exhausted by the time we got to Venice. Reception staff helpful and nice. Bus number 2 stops right across the street from hotel and will take you into the city of Venice for 1.50 euro! We went to their restaurant which had great food but we had a VERY RUDE waiter who never said hello or smiled but that seems to not be an uncommon thing in Italy. The French take the cake when compared between the two on customer service for sure.

It is located right in front of venezia Mestre station. Price is more affordable in comparison to other hotel located in the main Island. Main Island can be easily access by taking bus no 2 just opposite if the hotel. Room was clean and pretty spacious with nice spread of breakfast.

The location is just perfect! Out the front door and across the street the train station! as everyone has commented. Best hotel to stay for that value. The best way to get into the old Venice. The rooms are kept clean, however can use some restoration on wall papers and carpet shampooing. The breakfast needs improvement as eveyone has noted. We stayed after our 7 day cruise… all and all the location for convenience to the train station you can not beat!

Great location right next to the main train station — easy to get right into the heart of Venice, and out to other parts of Italy. Service was great, and rooms were exceptionally comfortable with a lot of space to work (or work out! ). Breakfast was simple, but met the tastebuds and catered to vegan/vegetarian diets (upon asking). Easy check in and check out procedure, and also staff were friendly. Nothing but positive feedback!

I'm going for work to sleep. Hotel valid and quite modern, ample hall and great staff for check in, really professional. The rooms are very good Clean bathrooms, comfy beds. Below an efficient bar with advanced food service and quality.

Excellent location with a direct connection to central Venice. Staff were polite and friendly, room was clean and generally the hotel was also very clean and tidy. Breakfast was continental and ample. Bus line 2 went straight from outside of the hotel to Venice (40 Euros for a 3 day pass, which also included all the waterbus travel, the hotel sells the tickets). From Treviso airport, ATVO bus takes you to the hotel directly for 20 Euros return fare.

Good location two station away from s. Lucia. Bad Wi-Fi connection, it was almost impossile to connect internet. The worst thing in this hotel is bad staff. No smile and greeting at the front desk nononono! they say hello when they need to get money from me after that no words. I didn't hear good-bye. I will never stay this hotel again. Chao!

I slept 1 night there. The recepsionniste of the day which was there was not helpful. Not accommodating. It is call Marione. Take the breakfast was a disaster.

TIP: Request an extension cord for your room as you're checking in. There aren't any outlets near the beds. I was looking for a last minute hotel in Venice that had at least a four-star review online, this hotel popped up on another site showing decent reviews and being located across the street from train station made it a perfect match. We took the train from Florence to Venice and as others have said, as soon as you walk outside the train station Venezia-Mestre, just cross the street and there it is. Check-in was a breeze and they honored our request when I booked online to have the rooms close to each other. Prior to booking, I read someone's review mentioning to get an extension cord prior to heading up to a room, so I did ask if there was an outlet near the beds, to which the lady said there should be. Unfortunately, there wasn't but I called down to the lobby and they quickly brought one up (not a big deal, just and fyi). The lobby was very nice and gave to hotel a very fancy, modern look. There were two elevators, both which worked quickly. The hallways were updated and looked really clean and nice as well. The room looked a little outdated, but it was very large and comfortable. The air conditioner worked great and bed was comfortable. I read some other reviews complaining about the mattress being too hard, I didn't find that to be the case. In fact I believe it was a memory-foam mattress which made it even more comfortable.

Being in the Club suite (the best room and service according to the staff), I was expecting a much better service from a 4 stars hotel, in particular when compared with classical rooms. Room was OK (good matress, large space, clean) but quite dark and should benefit from wider windows. Decoration was also poor. I was expecting a bit more "free" services for the price I paid. TV channel offer was very poor (about 40 channels, half in Italian language) and quality of the internet-based TC was poor (image freezing constantly). Bathroom was clean and large. Some accesories were missing: a loop mirror, a good hairdryer (we had a cheap and weak one). Breakfaset was the worse part of the day: poor offer, poor quality (distributor for artificial fruit juice testing sugar and water, old and hard bread. ) Even the coffee was not good (yes, in Italy! ) and you could only choose between dark or milk coffee! Restaurant room was ugly, not clean (spider nets, stains on the walls) and very noisy. The reception was also not satisfying: the personel was either disdainful, either ignoring. This hotel does not fit with my conception of 4 stars hotels and the quality/services do not worth the money I paid.
