AWFUL! Please don't stay here! Dieses Hotel verdient nicht mal ein Stern. Ein furchtbares GESTANK auf dem Zimmer, die komplett aufgerissenen Fenster hilfen dabei kaum. Kein Wi-Fi, kein Duschvorgang und unfreundliche Service!

No Wi-Fi in rooms, Air conditioning didn't work, beds were comfy, it's almost what you should expect for the price.

Although I don't expect much from a hostel, this place was dirty! We stayed in a private room with a bathroom. The floors had layers of dust, the room smelled of mold and when we opened the door to the bathroom the shower curtain was black with mold. On a positive side, the location was great (the buses and trains were within 5 minutes of walking). Additionally, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice place in good location, right next to the bus station to Venice. The owner hepled us a lot with our luggage that was lost in the airport. Bottom line, very recommended.

One of the worst hostels I've been in. I had to extend my booking by one night, so I booked and paid upon arrival for that extra time. Three days later they had lost all evidence of my payment and reservation. My first room did not contain lockers and the second one's were broken. The hostel does not provide facilities to cook and prohibits eating non-hostel food in common areas. There isn't anything social going on — or any encouragement to meet people. The only positive is that hostel is otherwise pretty clean.

It is the best place to stay if your budget is low. Parking space available. Rooms are ok. Just few stops away from Venice if you take a bus. Good hospitality. Wi-Fi available only in the reception area.

Unbeatable location very few blocks from the train station and with good access to buses, but they could greatly improve the facilities of the rooms and bathrooms.

The Wi-Fi access, at least from the room that touched me on the 2nd floor, is horrible, very poor connectivity and falls down often.
The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful.
Recommended only if you come for a few days.

This place has bedbugs and management does nothing about them. Do not stay here. It is absolutely filthy and no human being should be subjected to staying here. This is the most atrocious establishment I have ever stepped foot in. As far as the rooms themselves go, the showers were so small and disgusting (a couple people staying with me found mold on theirs and one room simply did not have a shower curtain and the room flooded during showers) that you could not move without having the curtain stick to you. The water made my hair matted and filthy. We had no soap in the bathroom either, and the toilet seat in my room was broken. Also, the front desk workers would take our towels and not replace them, but then get confused when we asked for more and would only give us hand towels to dry ourselves. The mattresses were thin and the sheets smelled bad and HAD BEDBUGS IN THEM. They were coming out of outlet sockets as well. Some beds/sheets, including mine, had cigarette burns through them and/or stains that looked like blood. One of my roommates talked to a local who said that hostel is the worst in the area and a hub for drug users. Some of the outlets didn't work and the AC in my room broke after two nights. The keys also sometimes would not even open the filthy rooms. The walls were paper thin. There was only Wi-Fi in the lobby, not the rooms, which was absolutely disgusting (peeling couches, stained chairs, bugs everywhere).

Spartan, clean, with parking and close to transportation.

The staff were very friendly and Helpful, the room was clean.

, it is only 5 minutes walk from the train station and 2 minutes from bus station, it is 10 minutes from Venice by public transport, good clean, modern, has a cafeteria in the low part where you can have coffee.

Shabby Hotel serving as a pass Hotel so goes and comes all night, no shutter has the window door that does not close, they rent the same room twice and we ended up sleeping at 4 adults in the same room in us PHANS believe that our reservation was cancelled but without being able to tell us by whom! In short I recommend it to anyone!

The owner gave us a free room upgrade. He was amazingly kind and helpful.

It charged advance 160 euro from me all in advance advance. When we reached hotel with wife and baby they refused to give the hotel and the reason is they dont have free rooms. They told its my mistake to book payment from hostelworld and hostel world is having the money so I need to fight with hostelworld for money. Hostelworld chat never work in night so no response whole night and me and family was on road for 2 hours searching room. Beware FRAUD!

Welcome particularly pleasant, staff available and friendly atmosphere juvenile, typical Italian cuisine and bar, affordable prices.

We have selected the economy double room. Good point for connections, rooms. Bare minimum. Available The girl at the front desk. Good parking of the hotel Sagara not guarded, but fenced.

Worst hostel I have ever stayed. Beds were dirty, with blood stains on the mattress. Had to get the bed sheets ourselves, in addition to payinv for the towels. Charged extra money on arrival, although the price on our online booking stated different. Not recommended.

Period stain on the bed, chose private room, beds were all unmade, although promised to have been. The hostel added €20 extra charge for no reason. Total cost of stay €90, better value at a proper hotel.

For what it cost me a single (€30) at 10 ' walk from the station, I would say I can't complain at all. Clean and pleasantly heated room (we are in January, I was seriously afraid of having to sleep in the cold). Comfortable bed, small but functional bathroom. Even a small wall television that I clearly did not use, but if you were to find the urge to follow The Voice, you can do it. Concierge Open 24h/24, I plumped into the hotel at one and they didn't flinch. Very good from this point of view. The only note that I feel to do is that the soundproofing is missing. Before I fell asleep, I heard a woman walking with heels in the hallway. Then nothing else, but I clearly had luck. Fully promoted Hotel so perfect for a hit and run stop!

Shittiest place the first days. The room was cold af, I caught a cold just for taking a shower. Wifi was only usable at the lobby downstairs, where its also cold. Water was also freezing and took ages to heat up. On the bright side, we had a balcony that was equivalent to a 0° fridge, so we had fresh milk in the morning. Last day we managed to change to another room, which is highly appreciated. So yeah dont come in winter.

Very close to the train station, old fashioned hotel, cheap and simple. Very good for a day short stop.

The hotel room was really dirty, the shower and shower curtain were shimmering and there were no clok glasses. All the doors in the hotel pretend to have been broken open at least once. There were too few parking spaces, so we would have had to park someone if we had put ourselves there. Therefore, we went to the hotel industry (if you can call it such) and asked where else we could have put ourselves. He meant we should quietly park someone and then leave the keys with him so that he can parry it again if the parked man wants to get back out. We didn't do that, of course. Speaking of keys when you left the hotel you should hand over the key at the reception and pick it up again later when you come back. But you wouldn't have to identify yourself or something like that if you wanted the key you just had to say the room number. That means you could easily get the key for a foreign room.
But the hotel workers were nice.
I wouldn't go there again, even if it was so kind, the diskey factor was just too high.

It is a cheap place and is very close to Mestre train station and the city's public transport system. There's a truck that's taking you straight to Venezia.

The hostel says one thing online and another when you land at their place. It asked for €5 for linen when we reached whereas it was clearly mentioned that linen is included in Hostelworld. Also receptionist told me that there is no common washroom when we arrived earlier than check in hours whereas there was one to the left. The AC in the rooms did not work and it was very hot in the day. All in all it was an unpleasant stay and I would not recommend this hostel despite its good location.

Good place when you go for a night or two, it's good for value — value, it's a very good option when you don't have as much budget to stay in Venice properly, very close to public transport which takes you to Venice in 15 minutes.

At first we got a room with bed bugs, so we asked for another room which we received. The other room was fine :)

The staff on arrival was nice and friendly, that's about it. The rooms are old and dated. The shutter couldn't even be opened/closed and was stuck on about 3/4, meaning the balcony couldn't even be used. The bathroom design was poorly, when taking a shower the entire room gets wet. Also the shower has a 'buffer' from time to time. Out of total of 4 outlets only 2 worked, and they worked poorly. They say they have a private parking but it is extremely small. The only pro this hostel has, is that it is really close to the station.

This hostel was terrible! I don't mind sharing a room with others, that's why the price is meant to be as cheap as it is, but I didn't pay to share my room with roaches and bed bugs. The number of bugs squished on the wall and between the sheets was staggering. When I told the front desk all I was told was "impossible. " They offered to switch me to a different room but didn't bother with the other two that were staying in the same room. I was booked for two days and after the first I moved to a hotel. I wasn't offered a reimbursement for the second night that I refused to spend in the bug infested room. All I got was then calling me a cab (which I paid for) and a "good luck" as I walked out the door. I wouldn't recommend this hostel to anyone, there are far better choice for just a few euros more.

Room advertised as 6 bed but all they have are 4 beds. They put a mattress down in our room for our 5th member but it was very cramped. Shower is poorly designed so whole of bathroom gets covered in water. Ants coming in through holes in grouting in bathroom. Two of 5 beds had multiple slats missing and so had weird dips. All of that was kind of doable, the place is cheap and we only wanted to sleep here. However… Air conditioning didn't work, and we cooked to death. Writing this from hell which is a breeze in comparison.

Well there were hundred reasons to hate this place… Let's start with the staff, so the reception guys are horrible inhospitable except for female reception staff who is only one thing right in this entire hotel. Next the hotel rooms, old property but barely managed. In my room 408 — I could see ants, mosquitoes, TV placed for namesake which don't work, tap broken, shower malfunctioning, no cleaning in the room. For no reason, Venice city map charged 1.5 euros where most of hotels and hostels give it for free, I mean when you have nothing to offer decent to the guest at least give maps free which is an average thing offered by hotels. When I complained about my room, I was moved to room 308 — so this room bathroom door knob is broken, on bedsheet I could see hair of previous guest, in the bathroom used soap of previous guest and to top it up charging points and air conditioner not working. And yeah, Wi-Fi works only in ground floor that's lobby area. Humble words, please don't go. You would be big time disappointed. Till date this one was. Worst hotel I visited.

The hostel is decent. But first settled in smoky room. The staff were very good and the room was clean. Sockets that work require a special adaptor. It can be taken for 5 euro deposit, but in the morning the staff does not want to give away the money. Asking them how to tip leave.

Bed bugs everywhere. No chance to sleep well — had to sleep in hall on a sofa.

There is no service as such. The plumbing is not working, in the room insects, sockets broken, rolls on the windows do not work, even brush in the toilet no, breakfast was not enough! I don't even stay for free again.

For what you pay you what you deserve.

Tonight I sleep in the hostel because I have no where to go, if dormiria Street could because we received a man claiming to be the owner that we try to be horrible. A poorly educated that we cry and even came to be violent. Among other things, the rooms are small and stink to the cigarette smoke. Not have SOAP or barrel of trash minimally. An experience that don't want anyone.

I'am giving a 5 stars because this hostel and budget hotel offer clean cheap rooms with a free parking (parking a in Venice are very very vey very expensive) and if you are in budget this place is for you we will be back and reccomand your place please keep those prices.

It was a very, VERY basic hostel. Don't go expecting anything more and you may have a pleasant stay.

Small room, no TV. In the shower I can't say anything good … But the staff were very nice.

There were nasty bed bugs! No compensation for our two night stay either! The room was disgusting and there were dead bugs platered on the walls. Not worth it.

The worst. Absolutely do not come here under any circumstance. I would rather sleep in the streets of Venice, I might even get a better Wi-Fi signal. The hotel is in a terrible part of town. The staff are mean and unwilling to help in anyway with one to two word answers and no respect for their guests. It is by far the worst place I have ever stayed in any country I have ever been in.

Dirty rooms, (after 4 days someone knocked on the door the first time and asked for cleaning the room) Wi-Fi not accessible from the 4th floor (wrong password, we told the receptionist a few times and every time he just said that we just made a mistake) killed over 20 mosquitos the first night in my room and even got bites after that.

Good value for price, very basic amenities however.

This is by far the worst hostel I have ever stayed in! Dirty Rooms, toilet, corridor and every single corner of this damp of an excuse for accommodation. They do not clean the rooms or toilet at all and I had to go to reception and force them to clean our toilet/bathroom after two days of disgusting smell and mess! Bed sheets are not changed at all; in fact there is no cleaning whatsoever! On the second day of stay, we were informed that the cook had quit so no more free dinner as they promised! There is no air con and even the electrical sockets do not work properly — they turn on and off. The Internet does not work in the rooms and I am at the moment forced to stand against the window with my mobile in the sun just so I can have enough reception to write this review! I am one of those blaaze people who do not take other people's reviews seriously and just think that's just their opinions, I will find out my own experience! Don't make the same mistake I made, AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE cos you are more than likely to leave with an infection from all this dirt! 17/08/2013 at 13:39pm — I just watched the cleaner wipe the dirty bathroom/toilet floor (which hasn't been cleaned for four days) with a pillow case! And she used the same pillow case to wipe the sink and shower floor. After reading this, if you are still silly enough to come and stay here, BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING.

The best: close to the station. The worst: everything else, such as care, cleaning, not put us towels, broken and uncomfortable beds, air conditioning was not working, low pressure in the mains. I do not come back.

Spent two nights here, dirty rooms, dirty bathrooms, dirty dishes in the kitchen. After we left, my travel companion forgot something in our room, and the staff refused to help at all in locating it and helping us get it back.

The rooms and corridors were quite dark and pretty old, dirty and a lot of things were broken to begin with. Small rooms weren't the greatest problem — the dirty sheets on the bed, broken lamps and tiny, cold bathrooms weren't satisfactory at all. The cheap, electronic pest repellents and ancient bi metal fire detectors outside of every room scared me a bit. The breakfast was quite good and the location isn't that bad either. It really is a backpacker's hostal.

The bed I was given was infested with bed bugs. I had over fifty bites on my person, fifteen of them on my face. When I went down to complain, the night receptionist told me they could move the following day and that they had no other vacancies that night. When I told him I'd be sleeping in the lobby, he magically found a room that was practically empty. After being moved, I was not bitten again. I asked to see the manager multiple times and was always told he'd be around at a different point in the day. Finally, on my last evening, I asked a different receptionist to please call the manager so I could discuss being refunded some of my stay. After this man was extremely unhelpful, he eventually rung the manager who seemed very apologetic on the phone and agreed to give me a refund for the two nights I was in the infested room as well as a meal voucher for my last night. Satisfied, I gave the phone back to the receptionist, who said something to the manager, hung up, and then told me there was nothing he could do for me. I protested that the manager had just said to refund me two nights, but he refused and told me I could wait to see the boss when he was there in an hour. Guess who was not there an hour later. I asked him to call again, he said he was talking to the manager online, and at that point I was so frustrated I started to cry.
