Thanks to Sandro and all the staff for the great hospitality and the excellent service (the exchange on the occasion of our recent visit back from a fantastic concert at the Chamole'

Beautiful hotel, typical of the place, fantastic view, rooms are spacious and clean, the staff: friendly, helpful, and cheerful, good food, … fantastic experience to be repeated.

Short stay in July 2018, in a climate of friendly hospitality availability, courtesy and kindness on the part of the owners and staff of the hotel. The rooms are very large and comfortable considering the visit that I will probably this winter, breakfast and dinner with a wide choice of cuisine including typical dishes of the place. The flagship, the position is panoramic because it opens up the full view on Aosta is for the lifts. The council of the summer and the winter.

Very kind dinner is not exactly 4 stars but you can not complain, otherwise everything beautiful.

Had a fantastic week skiing in Pila and staying here. Great rooms and excellent service. Will be back again I'm sure.

Just returned from a weeks stay here.
Lovely traditional hotel in a great position right on the slopes and next to the Chamole lift.
We stayed in room 312 which had amazing views over the Aosta Valley and Mountains beyond.
Lovely big room with great size bathroom.
Kept extremely clean all week by our maid.
Staff are all lovely and the owner is a lovely guy who works very hard to make sure everyone is happy.
Food is delicious and all home cooked.
Plenty of variety and all very tasty
Would highly recommend a stay here as it’s a beautiful area with great pistes.

I would say that the qualification of hotel "very good" is excessive… Certainly the staff are nice and helpful, the room clean, however some negative observations for a three star: 1) The toilet table of the assigned room was not suspended at the top at the time of male need, creating objective situation of Personal hygiene; 2) The hairdryer was not included in the room but it had to be requested; 3) The New Year's menu, included in the package, has not been made known until the time of dinner; 4) Finally, a vegetarian menu was requested and in return they provided, as a second dish, grilled vegetables out of season (zucchini and melenzane) instead of a menu a little richer and healthier with legumes and/or cereals, that is still based on seasonal vegetables. It was better that they communicated the unavailability to alternative menus to those already programmed and not communicated.

Family atmosphere, professional style.
In a unique setting which is a stack, a familiar atmosphere created professionally by Mrs. Angela, by Sandro and Stefania, not forgetting Mrs. Anna of course.
We spent many years, wonderful and unforgettable summer holidays with a group of friends, coming from all over Italy, who punctually found themselves, relying on the skilful guide of Valentino.
We will come back with joy and heart in hand!

The boss just like his wife and their staff are really friendly and listening to their client The food is really good and the mountain walks are superb.

Thank you to all of you for your hospitality, your sympathy, your investment! You do each thing with the heart and it is for this that we love you so much. Strongly that we have to come back soon!

Old Fashioned Hotel (furniture years 70), in room smell of smoke from previous occupants probably due to the presence of carpet, breakfast only from 8 o'clock, sauna fee (EUR 10), hairdryer not present in room available only on request in reception. Valid for one night, to be avoided for white week.

Location! … Hotel on the Ski Slope, Personal Sardo, Owners Super Nice, very Kind and Above all Very Professional … the Breakfast and Dinner Buffet is Super Generous, the Rooms Large and Comfortable, ditto for the Bathroom, and Everything is Super Super Clean my Personal Rating and 10 Stars!

Are now several years that I and my family spend a week of summer vacation in this hotel and I can assure you that 5 stars are definitely a few! The venue, the hotel, the staff, the food, and everything else is simply exceptional. Then there is the "Sandro" that is all you need doesn't make you miss anything. Highly recommend it to all those who love the mountains, the tranquility and fun, this wonderful hotel… definitely not to be missed and really take in into consideration.

We visited the Etoile De Neige due to the strong reviews on this website, however we found little justification for the positive rating on TripAdvisor. The food was really very poor. There are almost no healthy options, with only fatty, greasy, reheated leftovers on offer — I cannot forget the dry overcooked scrambled egg, or the greasy grey coloured pork chops. At every ski holiday I have been on, snacks are available for when hungry skiers return from the slopes. Unfortunately here, the options (only intermittently available) were greasy cold pizza crusts (usually without toppings), or very overpriced chocolate bars and crisps. The chocolate bars had past their expiry date by over a year, and did taste a little funny. The staff were very reluctant to serve us anything, with the waitress looking hassled when a friend of mine asked for a can of coca cola — which turned out to be totally flat, naturally. The rooms were a good size, we were given a twin room, when we asked for a double. There were few plug sockets, and the fridge was broken. The cleanliness was poor, with mould growing between the tiles in the bathroom. Finally, the resort — this was ok, but is quite small, and can be skied in a day by a moderate skier. During Italian holiday periods and weekends, the lifts got busy with many locals coming to ski here. The town was more or less non-existent, with very few restaurants or bars available in February.

Very good hotel, located directly on the ski slopes, super friendly staff and always available.
Excellent both breakfast and dinner, rich buffet of hors d'oeuvres and local dishes.
The Hotel has a comfortable lounge for changing boots and an indoor parking, the bedrooms are cute.

Hotel with great value, in a panoramic position with breathtaking views, from which it is extremely difficult to break away. Super nice staff. Friendly family atmosphere. Interesting excursions are organized and accessible to all, with guides prepared and welcoming. Very nice Manager (Alexander), and for more fair and honest. I wanted to put the car in the garage: he would have yielded more 5 € per night. "Money down the drain, " he said. "can leave it outside the entrance so there is room, it's free and runs no risk. " Honesty really commendable.
